"If you've never been to a Bread Butter, think of it as one of those multipurpose food markets where you can get anything from sandwiches to salads to burgers to stir fry in various stations, a buffet consisting of a potpourri of different foods, and even random groceries. Oh, and you can get breakfast too. That's really its bread butter (pun intended). Not the best food by any means, but simply a multidimensional place. This place unlike some of the other locations is a bit on the darker side due to a lack of lighting across the interior. I prefer the stir fry from here, though I believe the pastas aren't a bad option either. The buffets are tempting, but remember not to overstuff as you certainly don't want to spend $20 on lunch."

"I came on a Sunday at around 1PM. The place was basically empty. Had I read the reviews beforehand, I might have steered clear. But I'm pleasantly surprised. Speedy service, soft bagel, didn't skimp on lox or cream cheese. It's expensive, but so is every bagel shop within walking distance. I am proceeding with caution but I think I'll come again."

"It seems there was some confusion regarding my order; I had requested a western burger but was offered a vegetarian option instead. When I declined the vegetarian burger, they replaced it with a regular burger that didn’t come with the usual western toppings. Despite this mix-up, the food was delicious overall. So, aside from the mistake, it was an excellent experience!"

"The pancakes were fantastic! The strawberries were fresh, the pancakes were fluffy, and I absolutely loved the maple syrup. The burger was good, though I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve ever had. It was still tasty, but we were surprised to find that it came with just the patty; the tomatoes and pickles were served separately, along with the fries. It seems that if you don’t order the "deluxe burger" or add extras like cheese, that’s what you get. We found the burger quite good with just a slice of tomato and ketchup, but keep in mind that if you prefer a burger with all the fixings—including veggies and fries—you should opt for the deluxe version or check the burgers listed on the right-hand side of the menu. I do need to mention that I wasn’t a big fan of the fries; they could have benefited from a little more time in the fryer. Overall, though, I’m glad I chose this diner for my American diner experience! Compared to other restaurants and diners, this one was definitely on the more affordable side, and I would recommend it."

"I often command from here. I am very picky when it comes to fish, but the fish here is always fresh and tasty. The salmon is freshly filled and baked. The sole is freshly baked and fried. The shrimp salad is made with cut large shrimps not tiny from a can. The tuna plate is very considerable. Cheesecake is always delicious. The people who deliver are always fast and friendly. "I encountered one of the rudest individuals I've ever met. Being in a hospital, I expected better customer service. I went in to grab a cup of coffee, and the man at the register was focused on trying to locate a missing check instead of acknowledging me. Fortunately, another gentleman at the counter did recognize me. However, while I was waiting, a man walked in, and suddenly, the first employee saw him and greeted him by name. He then left to fetch the usual for that customer, leaving me standing there. I eventually walked out. You’ve lost my business. There are plenty of other cafés and restaurants that truly understand the importance of customer service."

"I was there at 2pm for lunch. My friend and I waited about 10 minutes for a table to open up. Both the food and the service were awesome. For those reasons, lunch time (until 3pm) was really busy. Highly recommended!"

"Really surprised to find this diamond in the rough. Under a permanent structure of scaffolding, and certainly not what I would call an enticing decor, the food and service at this diner was especially good. I was looking for a good place to sit while waiting for someone at the dental surgery clinic next door. The table cubicles were strewn in a most un feng shui fashion, seats ripped and needing repair, I was desperate and sat. The waitress was pleasant and accommodating. I actually got skim milk for coffee, the toast was unbuttered, the eggs hot and runny and best of all the home fries were crispy and flavorful. I?ve been so used to horrible undercooked home fries I?d forgotten they weren?t supposed to be that way. When finished I confessed why I was lingering and she made me even more welcome with an invitation to sit as long as I would like. I sat and watched NY1 for a while until summoned next door. I will be back."

"I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an egg bagel with salt and pepper, but when I got home I found that I had been given a BLT on an everything bagel with no salt or pepper. I'm not sure what happened, as I usually don't have any issues when I come here and the food is usually good. This time was disappointing, and although I was too hungry to go back and fix it, I may have to reconsider this as my go-to breakfast spot in the future."

I initially planned on grabbing a simple snack of nuts and seeds, but when I walked in, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of fresh, green ingredients. Excited by the menu, I decided to order a juice and a smoothie from their well-stocked juice bar, as well as a customized veggie burger. "What an amazing buffet!! The price was $28.00 for 2 adults with drinks. I thought it seemed like a lot of money but it was well worth it! They have a salad, soup and potato buffet. They have a very wide selection of main courses including chicken, shrimp, BBQ pork, pot roast and steaks cooked to order. The side dishes were veggies, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cabbage and much more. The dessert buffet had it all!! The chocolate cake was my favorite but they also offered bread pudding, brownies, apple crumb cake, cookies and a do it yourself ice cream bar. There were all types of toppings for the ice cream and it was delicious. Keep in mind that this is not the healthiest of foods. But if you are hungry, I can't think of a better place. The food was really, really good and the service was great. As we were leaving, I saw a sign for the breakfast buffet and I am looking forward to trying it! My only problem was that the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. On the whole, it was AWESOME and we loved it. Bring your appetite!"

"Charming retro diner with a nostalgic vibe. The staff is very welcoming, and there's a great selection of music from the '50s and '60s playing in the background. "We have ordered from this Deli for 20 years and never had an issue until they hired an incompetent, rude, front person. Customer service does not exist in this Deli. We tried to resolve an issue over the phone with a wrong order, and were hung up on. The manager isn't any better, told me that he will not deliver anymore. There is obviously a communication problem that they will not fix. So beware, you will not receive a club sandwich, but instead a Reuben!"
