"I love this place. It has so much potential. The service is excellent and I can't say enough about the excellent server assigned to our table. I was hoping for a menu that would extend a little more into a dinner menu rather than a salad or pizza or burger menu. But, I can live with that. Now the big issue was getting our order moving and getting it straight. Our server did everything she could to keep us happy. I noticed the board game recommendations on the menu and had a nice chuckle. But after waiting so long for our order to be served, a game of Monopoly wasn't that bad of an idea. There were 4 in our party and we did make prior reservations. 3 of us had salads and the 4th ordered a wrap sandwich with onion rings. 2 of the salads were the Southwest Chicken Salads, but the cook never included the chicken. The salads were served within ample time but the wrap and onion rings were no where to be seen. We started in on the salads and noticed the absence of the chicken. Our server apologized and took off to the kitchen. I could tell she was embarrassed by the mix up and she corrected the error. Still no wrap and onion rings. We almost completed our salad dinners and the wrap and onion rings were finally served. Our server apologized repeatedly and management authorized 50% off the bill. (A visit from the manager would have been nice. I think your menu price meals are a little on the high side, but we will return and hope for a little better experience."

"One of the best Thai restaurants hands down! If you're looking for an authentic and delicious Thai dining experience, look no further than Kin Sushi Thai cuisine! This charming and inviting restaurant boasts a menu full of traditional Thai dishes that are expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The decor is classy and inviting, and the staff is attentive and eager to ensure that you have a great dining experience!! Let’s get to the main attraction here: the food. The menu at Kin Sushi, features a wide variety of classic Thai dishes, from spicy curries to savory stir-fries. Each dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and expertly spiced to perfection. One standout dish that I highly recommend is the Pad Thai and my most favorite, Kee Mao! The noodles are perfectly cooked and the sauce is sweet and tangy, with just the right amount of spice. The portions are generous, so you're sure to leave feeling satisfied. But don't stop at the Pad Thai and Kee Mao, there are so many other great dishes to try! The Tom Yum soup is another favorite of mine, with its bright and zesty flavors. And if you're a fan of spicy food, you won't be disappointed with the spicy basil chicken. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Thai dining experience. The food is top-notch, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant!"

"We had such a lovely time at Kyo! We were a group of 5 sat outside, that then changed to a group of 4, and then back to a 5 - but our waiter, Pascal, was so lovely and accommodating (thank you, Pascal, for your patience with us while numbers were being sorted!).The boys started with a round of beers, while us ladies all had a Pinky Ginger. It's a delightful and fresh cocktail - careful, because they're VERY easy to keep drinking!Pascal informed us that everything is served in a tapas style, so everything is easy to share. We decided on the kalbi beef, kakuni pork, okonomiyaki crepe, agedashi tofu, a mixed platter of sashimi and spicy salmon sushi - no one was disappointed. My personal favourite was the kakuni pork - so decadent. Can't wait to come back to Montreal so that we can come back!--Nous avons passé un trés agréable séjour à Kyo!

"Do not ever order for takeout. I've been supporting Sakana since they opened a few years back as a local Somersett resident. The sushi used to be great, but over the past two years declined badly. My recent takeout was of the specials they offer where you can pick 8 rolls for $50, then they charge for any substitution in this case we asked to sub Ahi/maguro for salmon on a roll. The amount of Ahi was less than you would get on one piece of Nigiri rice. They only include 1 small side of Wasabi and charge you if you want more $1 each. Total out the door around $70. This sushi experience was so bad I've attached pictures to show. The rolls were basically rice with the minimum amount of other ingredients. The tempura shrimp in the middle had been cut into at least 1/4th's and looked like a toothpick inside surrounded by layers of rice. The little amounts of fish were rubbery, dry, and not fresh. When I spoke to Sakana they told me this exactly. I'm sorry we do not have the same level Sushi Chefs doing to go orders, it is not a priority, but special for you the customer to have such a good deal. Our to go orders we cannot make for the same quality, because we make it such a special offer to you. We must make money and cannot by providing the same quality for to go. I was then told to try Sushimi's, or someone else in town for takeout. Worst service ever, I actually was just offering feedback to Sakana and I was not even wanting a refund just to let them know how bad the food experience was. I will say Sushimi's was incredible, the service, and way fresher you cannot even compare them to Sakana's poor quality and service. There are so many other Sushi options, I highly recommend you try any place other than here. The staff inside is so rude, the owner does not care about customers. If you want to feel like you are lucky to be allowed in this dining establishment and be lucky enough to be allowed to be a customer this is your place. Beware if you leave just a fragment of rice they will argue you must pay for an additional all you can eat. Awful Awful"
