"The food and timeframe for the delivery of our food was above and beyond. Presentation beautiful, very flavorsome. The only thing out of order was the young man at the door who walked us to our table and served us decided to inform me he just moved here from Chicago looking for a wife and wondered what my daughter 's staus is. Well informing him she 's not available didn 't work, he came back to the table after she returned to inform her he looking for a wife and that since hers is 'not ' working out. I corrected him on point. He went on about where he lived etc. We politely told him to slow down and take his time or he 'd wind up in the wrong hands. Young ladies beware either he 's really looking hard or he needs papers. Hard to call why he came that way. But we will still return with our husband 's to dine."

"So my wife and I have held here after they have appeared in the app as close. we both love Indian food. we both agree that from all the places we have eaten worldwide, this was some of the best. the menu offers a nice selection of vegetarian dresses and when they were asked to make them vegan, they liked to. the service was fast and friendly. but eating is what it was about. there was no oil build-up found on some. the aromes were fresh and explosive. I recommend the garlic and chili naan when they are looking for something heat. I can't think of a thing that put me down and the price was more than reasonable. I will make this a regular stop when I have to drive out of the desert to go to the VA hospital."

"Don 't understand what they/ the one server(? was playing at, but the Open sign was lit, we came in the door at 4:00PM, the open hours on the door and online says they are open from 11AM to 9PM. WE WERE ASKED TO LEAVE BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSED TILL 5. I want to make it clear that we were delighted with the restaurant when we ate there previously. Food was great, service good, prices fair, and we recommended the restaurant to several others. Then this happened."

"Wonderful experience. Sat outside, quiet, charming. Good cocktail list, best mojito in a long time. Nice simple menu, easy ordering, very well presented. We didn’t have wine, but the list was decent and very reasonably priced. Waiter very patient, knowledgeable, helpful. Would dine here again"

"I ordered a number of items through Uber Eats and it was so so disappointing! The quantity was good but all the dishes were bland and tasteless. The minimum standard charge for every dish, even a daal, is $18. I was trying to add salt to at least make it palatable. It was so bad. I ordered the fish tikka masala for $23, which was supposed to be fish first grilled then cooked in sauce. First of all, there were very few pieces of fish in the dish, and secondly the fish did not seem to be pre cooked or grilled at all, it seemed raw. Will not order again."

"Amrit palace is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocala. We went there on Valentine’s Night so I don’t know if this is the “new normal” or not. Drink menu is one of the best of any restaurant I have ever been to. Variety and quality is one of their biggest draws for my wife…Appetizers were delicious. Gobi Manchurian which is spicy battered cauliflower and the meat samosaa(? just ok. A little dry. Sauces for apps are top notch. Entrees now come with sides. Previously you got the entrees with a bowl of rice for the table. Kind of liked that better. I got buryani lamb which had chunks of lamb in rice. Too much rice… Wife got butter chicken which as always was delicious. But needed rice… waiter quickly delivered. Dessert was really good. A pastry in syrup and I forget what else. Service is top notch. Meal delivery is measured in nearly seconds. A five course meal only takes an hour and we were not in a rush. They get people in and out. You aren’t rushed at all, they have cut the time from order to meal better than any restaurant I know."

"I like this place, but I must come back to rethink again because both times I have gedified at this place, the restaurant is absolutely empty working with only one guy and both times I was told that many of the menu points are not possible for them to make them, they have all the ingredients, but they refused to make most of the items so that I choose from a smaller menu. It happened twice. The guy's always in a hurry to get me and my party out. Bad service."

"I thought the restaurant was nice, clean and a great place to bring family and friends. My fiancee is from India so it was important for me to find a place where she could get the type of food she desired and missed from back home. She did the ordering as she could read what it said and knew what the offerings were as I did not. There was one main dish that she requested and it came out, not to her liking. She brought it to the waiters attention and he just shrugged and said, thats how they make it and offered nothing to replace it or a redo or even subtract it from the bill. That situation could have been handled differently and I am disappointed that she just left the dish there, and trust me, she is one that never throws anything out, so it must have been bad, Other than that, the evening was nice, we enjoy our time together and the restaurant on the whole was worth the drive."

"we have been eating here for years as vegetarian and were excited to learn a few years ago that they added a separate vegan menu. our favorites are samosas, aloo palak, chana masala, aloo murmel and chapati. eating is fantastic — super tasteful. the chana masala sends me especially about the moon. we are spice eyelashes and so they order the food mild, which still has some nice heat."

"This is undoubtedly some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. The prices are fantastic, especially since one dish can provide two generous servings. The online ordering app is excellent—easy to use, well-organized, and full of options. They are consistently prompt with their service, and the food always arrives hot, even by the time I get home. The spice levels are just right. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are rich and enjoyable. I've explored the vegetarian menu, and everything has been impressive. The samosas are enormous and delicious, particularly the lamb-filled ones. The spicy naan is exceptional—I love the fresh jalapeños and the abundance of cilantro. I rave about this place whenever I can! I'm so glad they are part of my neighborhood. I would take a picture of my meal, but by the time I think to do so, my plate is usually empty! I really can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Thank you for being here!"

"Very disappointed in our dining experience Saturday. The service was incredibly slow and when one of the owners stopped by we asked if we could order drinks from her and she wouldn’t take our order. She said she had to “watch the front door”. We had a 7pm reservation and even had to wait a bit before being sat and of course then it took a good 15 20 minutes before being greeted by our waitress. When it came time to pay, the bill was incorrect and we told our waitress who then had her manager take over and after explaining to the manager why it was wrong, he too couldn’t get it right. It’s unfortunate as we have dined here before and this time we brought friends to enjoy the experience with us and instead walked away disappointed. Service can make or break a restaurant and the owner had every opportunity to step up to the plate when her waitress was “slammed” and remedy the situation, but instead she let it get worse."

"This was our go to spot during the pandemic (because it was delicious and we could sit outside to enjoy it)! We came back for lunch and it was as tasty as we remembered!! The ambience is a bit of a dive BUT the service and the mouthwatering food is well worth it!! If you’re on the UWS, you gotta go!! "Good food we had naans, mixed grill, chicken chili (gravy) chaat.We were passing through Salmon Arm and had take out but must say dine in would be a better option great atmosphere at the restaurant.Would have given a 5 star but for a bit of an awkward moment with the menu there were take out menus which I was looking through initially but I was then given the dine in menu which had higher prices. Didn't understand why they had the take out menus if it did not have current prices."

I must say benecia has one of the best Indian restaurant. as Indian guy I never had such amazing eating for very long time. the quality and the spicy level were in front of location. the service was very nice of the host welcomed us with a pleasant smile..We ordered Papri-Chaat for our appetizer and lambkorma goan fish curry and my whole time fav garlauch naan. the naan was soft and silky. thank you team mirchi, you made amazing tonight. highly recommended"
