"This was our go to spot during the pandemic (because it was delicious and we could sit outside to enjoy it)! We came back for lunch and it was as tasty as we remembered!! The ambience is a bit of a dive BUT the service and the mouthwatering food is well worth it!! If you’re on the UWS, you gotta go!! And, did I mention, they’re halal!!!Vegetarian options: Absolutely delicious!!Kid-friendliness: It’s small, but they have booster seats available.Dietary restrictions: Halal and vegetarian options."

I highly recommend avoiding online orders from this restaurant if you have allergies! I clearly stated in my special instructions that I am allergic to carrots, but my meal arrived packed with them. View menu

Not tasty. I had it a few years back too and I remembered it better, but I came back recently and me and my friend were very disappointed by the food. There are better choices in the area in this food category. I recommend the owners put some effort in improving the food.Food: 1/5

The food here is genuinely not good. It was overcooked, lacked in spice, and left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered:Chicken Noodle Soup(Chicken Thukpa)Chilli ChickenChicken Momo JholGulab JamunI would rate these on a spectrum of either complete garbage or close to garbage. It was upsetting.

Please do yourself a favor and do not go there. I was looking forward to eating their food and when I ordered momos it came with a roach on top of the momo. Absolutely disgusting and vile I have lost my appetite for a week. I'm including a picture as a proof. I would give it 0 stars if I could. View menu

We came for the Momos, as our other go to stopped serving them. This place was great, really tasty, quick service. I had the thali and veggies fried momos, simply delicious. The greens were very fresh tasting and a little spicy. I'd prefer if they could do a half order of momos, since 8 for one person is a lot.

I've done takeout from this place a few times now Their food here is quite delicious. the vindaloo is legitimately spicy! well packaged food to go, reasonably priced lunch and take out specials. the portions are mostly generous, though the lunch special has a very small serving of the main entree. the sides naan however are very good and substantial. à la carte can be a little pricey. The person working the register is very kind.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
