"Last night we were in town for a concert. We stopped to eat at the Hotel Franklin. Wow, what a wonderful restaurant. I have not experienced a real neighborhood restaurant since I worked in Buffalo in the 70’s and 80’s. Restaurants like Chef’s, Pizza John’s, and the Anchor Bar were always a treats. The food was not only excellent but the waitress was very helpful, quick and courteous. The stuffed rigatoni proved to be fresh and plentiful. The gnocchi’s were in a white butter sauce with fresh herbs. Also we had seafood over linguine. All was superb. We will be making the trip to Rome frequently to enjoy this great establishment. Also try their excellent bakery with fresh Italian bread and so so many goodies. Thanks for the great food and wonderful meals!!"
