"Bree ordered the Prime Ribeye, which came with maplewood smoked bacon and a mushroom demi-glace, while I had the Braised Short Ribs served in a rich Guinness pan jus. Both dishes were accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. We also shared a delicious four-cheese macaroni with andouille sausage. We enjoyed refreshing summer fruit cocktails and some excellent local beer. We decided to try this place on a whim, and we absolutely loved it! The food was incredible, bringing back the flavors of my childhood in a refined way. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu. Our waitress was friendly and very knowledgeable, and the beer selection was outstanding. The cocktails were also packed with flavor!"

"Server was great! Been going here for about four years. I will say the food has tasted different since the last two times. The pesto, tomato and cheese apps, the bread was way too soft and didn’t hold up well. As the bread itself seems to be different. The coconut cake dessert they are always out of the cookie that comes with it. Also the sauce tasted like sour. Didn’t even eat it. I do wish the food was consistent especially when you pay 200$ for a dinner"

"I was in town with friends for the Wineglass marathon and we were searching for a pasta dinner the night before the race. The reviews are mostly good with a a couple bad ones sprinkled in that we were concerned about but since this is the only Italian restaurant within at least 30 minutes, we took the gamble. The food was disappointing to say the least. The homemade pasta was angel hair from a box and the chicken parm was so thick/tough (not pounded out at all) that it was inedible. The prices were also extremely high given the quality of food (we were actually up charged for said homemade pasta even though we were told it came with the entrees). I feel bad writing this but it was such a disappointing meal when we needed something to fuel us for the next day. Take out pizza would have been a better option."

"The food at this restaurant was average at best, the service was very poor, and the atmosphere was unbearable with screaming toddlers running around. The staff seemed poorly trained and unable to handle basic tasks such as separate checks. I have never experienced such incompetence at a diner before. "I don't get to this place often because it's not close to home or where I generally hang out. But it's always excellent. They used to have another location in south Charlotte. I was bummed when they closed. The wine selection is good. I've multiple items on the menu and it's always good (meatballs, lamb chops, mesclun salad, octopus, zucchini chips, just to name a few). "2021: I would like to add now: We had our rehearsal dinner and it was everything we dreamed of amazing food, drinks, and desserts the apps kept coming! SO delicious. Beautiful ocean views such a nice night. Marc was our server and was amazing!!! Very kind and thoughtful. He brought flowers to decorate the room, folded our napkins in a fancy way, put out candles, and so much more. He was the best server and a lot of fun. Thank you!2019: My fiance and I just booked our rehearsal dinner here. WOW is all we have to say. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with so many choices to fit your needs. There are outside spaces as well where you can enjoy the scenery and ocean. The menus, drink selections, and desserts are so abundant and unique. For example, they offer specialty bars such as, a Moscow mule bar, sangria bar, etc. They also offer fun dessert options like an ice cream bar, chocolate fountain, and many more. What's better than all of that?? The staff and service!!! Both are beyond amazing. We were greeted by Mike who waited for us to arrive at the front entrance, opened the door for us, and greeted us by name. He was also very helpful and pleasant over the phone, as well as throughout our tour. He showed us all of our options and answered all the questions we had. Katelyn was also very kind and helpful via email. The service is phenomenal and the place is spectacular we looked at many other places and this was the only place that blew us away. We are SO excited about our rehearsal dinner and to be having it at the Danversport Yatch Club. We look forward to an amazing dinner and evening this summer. Woot!! "We always have a wonderful time at Ilios. Our waiter was outstanding, and the food was delicious as usual! We began with the calamari and zucchini chips— the calamari was very tender, and those zucchini chips are simply irresistible! I had the seasonal salad with salmon, while others in my group ordered the beef short rib, Greek salad, Caesar salad with salmon, and kabobs. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the timing of each course was spot on. Another fantastic experience at this restaurant!"

"We just had our friend’s bridal shower here, and it was the PERFECT place for our little party. The food was amazing, the staff was awesome, and we had a great time. They allowed us to come 30 min early to prep our table with some decorations, and were so so attentive to everything we needed! They also are releasing a new drink service next week, and they allowed us to have it for our bridal shower which was PERFECT for our party. They call it “Bogey’s bubble buckets” and it’s the cutest thing ever. It had 2 bottles of champagne, 3 different mixers, and sliced strawberries. We could all put together our own mimosas and it was so much more fun than just ordering a pitcher. All in all we had a fantastic time and we are so grateful that we spent our friend’s shower at Bogey’s. Thank you so much to Christina and the rest of the Bogey’s staff."

"We had our second, fabulous experience tonight at The Flying Fish. Tonight we returned allergic nephews with our family and my shellfish. The staff voluntarily assured us that his food would not be cooked in the same frit as shrimps. We had appetizers, ducks and many smiles. "I have very fond memories of going to Dallas BBQs in the West Village when I was a teenager, and many years later in Times Square. However, after the chain closed down key locations and my culinary interests expanded I confess I rarely went. For context, my last visit to a BBQs was to the Times Square location somewhere around 2019 or thereabouts. One night, while trying to find a quick bite in downtown Brooklyn, I suggested BBQs and my friends were all for it. This BBQs is pretty much the main show on this block. Sandwiched in between other tall buildings, you could be forgiven for missing it if you walked by too quickly. There is a waiting area inside but we only waited a few minutes to be seated. Once we sat down, it was kind of like visiting an old friend. The dark wood tables and chairs. The carpet that looked like some odd, dark color that is hard to define. The odd lighting that creates both dark corners and really bright spots at the same time. And of course, the paper menu on the table. This was definitely a BBQs and it felt somehow comforting to my 16 year old self. Our waiter was...very busy. I got the feeling this person had many more tickets assigned to him than one would normally have. He always seemed to be dashing from one place to another, and once we had our food, he basically vanished until we were almost done eating. I don 't blame BBQs specifically for this. I think this is an artifact of the current staffing issues many restaurants are having. I will say that flagging employees down to help us out was not a problem so I had a good experience overall. So what about the food? It was a sold B experience. I had a quarter chicken with corn bread and of course the Whiskey Wings. I was happy to see that after all these years the wings are still gigantic and wonderfully crispy. The chicken was moist and having some BBQ sauce to dip it into was nice. All of us kind of made a mess of ourselves with the wings, but we enjoyed the heck out of them! I wouldn 't call this a go to place in BK, but it definitely did the job in a pinch and I would go back."

LET ME TELL YOU THATS STEAK WAS HORRENDOUS. we ordered medium well that s was COOKED 15 times i could barely cut it when i tried to swallow a piece after chewing IT ALMOST TOOK ME OUT.THE POTATO WAS JUST A PLAIN POTATO SHAPED LIKE MY TOE??? FALSE ADVERTISEMENT MUCH??? DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE GRILLED CHICKEN. i almost cried WE SPEND 89 and sum change in total ITS A SCAM ALL OF IT DONT GO HERE UNLESS U ORDER CHICKEN TENDERS"
