"The food was first rate! For a 'Santa Con ' day, it was crowded, but the staff was terrific, we got seated immediately, and it was a friendly environment! The cozy, exposed brick and holiday decor really sets the mood. The bar can be a bit noisy, but off to the back, it 's just fine. We had a mozzarella/tomato basil appetizer, which was delicious and fresh. I had the fish n chips with a side of collard greens. The cole slaw that came w/the fish n chips was fresh, tangy/sweet, and wonderful! The fish wasn 't oily...great crunch, flaky and moist sorry, but that 's the best word to describe it and the sauce was perfect. Yep...bunch of fries with it..crunchy, not too salty, again just right! My wife had the chicken wings for her dinner. I tried one...sweet, cooked perfectly, little tangy nothing overwhelming, which was a good thing for me! If you want hot wings, it 's probably not the right dish, but I thought they were terrific! My side of collard greens were some of the best I 've had in NY! I usually order them at BBQ joints, which unless it 's KC style, it 'll be a bit sweet and watery. They were roasted not dry, and not soggy with a lovely caramelized flavor, tangy, with bits of pork. We saw lots of burgers being ordered seems to be the signature dish of the place. They looked fabulous, and we 'll have to try that the next time we visit. If you 're looking for a nice little restaurant/bar experience with fabulous food and service, I 'd highly recommend Jane! We might stop by on a night other than Sunday, if only for a less crowded experience. Clearly, the locals love the place, and it 's obvious why!"

"My first time here – and I am very impressed with the food. Our orders were Chicken Wings and Lach's Rillettes. Food: Both orders were delicious. The chicken wings were tender – well seasoned – and their caramelization gave him this nutty taste. The heat on the chicken pieces remains on a positive note. The salmon was filled with butter. I like the manager explaining why it sits a layer of clear butter on the salmon – that it was not just for “show” – and that it can be used as a spread on the crostini. The thin crostini pieces were perfectly dimensioned to keep the creamy salmon. (Food 5 of 5) Price: Of course it costs more in this setting and location. Finally, this is Napa – known as one of the world's best wine destinations. Be ready to spend a little more than the average dining. (price 4 of 5) Service: We were served by Shawn, but the star of this ice cream is the manager Eddie. He ensured that we were satisfied with everything we ordered – and answered our curiosity in a very gentle way. My hat of Eddie... speaking of hats... I left mine at the table – and Eddie returned my hat. Happy for us, we were still meandering – check out the other stands – when he found us. Oxbow is a sprawling marketplace with various food manufacturers selling local products. Oxbow is set up as a one-stop shop with a number of restaurants that offer a unique social meeting place. Meet greeting – eating greeting – then repeat. Location 5 of 5) Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces, but your timing must be correct – otherwise you have to park in the nearby garage and go a few blocks. (Parking 5 of 5) by Maggie Tan 27.
