"We had dinner at The Artichoke cafe in Albuquerque en route from skiing at Taos back home to New Jersey. What a wonderful delight! Service is so warm, personable and efficient. Our waiter described the dishes perfectly, recommended choices, and addedthe delightfully fun touch to the overall experience! Thank you, Sam! Food is scrumptious. Every dish is a perfect symphony offlavors. Cream of mushroom soup is a delicate blend of earthy mushroom tastes in a smooth base. Duck breast bypassed my favoriteone at a Hudson valley restaurant near CIA (Culinary institute of America) the spice rub on the skin adds a flavorful burst. And the lamb ragout is perfect exploding with flavors and textures, with a bit of heat and a cool touch of whipped ricotta. And the orange cardamom creme brûlée is a perfect finish to any meal!"

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"For starters, we had the Conch Fritters, which I forgot to take a photo of—they were probably the best I’ve had in a long time. My husband enjoyed the wings, while I treated myself to the daily special: Beef Sirloin with a garlic glaze, served over roasted potatoes alongside onion rings and house-made coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious! Each dish was cooked to perfection, and the onion rings had that perfect golden color you hope for. The coleslaw was a refreshing change from the messy versions that are often served these days. I cannot wait to return for more excellent food and service!"

"Food, as always, was wonderful. Among other dishes we had, kale/salmon salad, skirt steak wrap, and turkey club all highly recommended. Very importantly, we strongly feel that Claim Company has made the restaurant very safe tables/booths are distanced; glass partitions separated parties, etc. etc."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. Burnt cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"They sell gourmet popcorn here. yeah, that 's on the menu. It was burnt, and so were the cookies. the salad was an abomination of ingredients that did not gel. the service was quite bad we were ignored most of the time. Except for the horrible food that was served to us after we got our seats, the movie experience was not bad. the service in theatre was good, but the service at the bar/restaurant was terrible. Overall, this place is a bit overpriced because you don 't get what you pay for. They are trying to be fancy and charge for it but they don 't take the time to dust. My wife and I saw many cobwebs amongst the glassware at bar just over our heads."

"Our group opted for a family-style experience and ordered three appetizers, four entrées, and one dessert, which turned out to be the perfect amount of food for three very hungry individuals. Every dish we tried was delightful, featuring perfectly balanced combinations of ingredients (take a look at the detailed photos and captions). The cocktail menu is particularly intriguing, offering creative twists on classic drinks alongside the originals. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The only aspect that held this back from being a 5-star rating was the service, though it certainly wasn’t the waiter’s fault. The restaurant appeared to be somewhat under-staffed, with only one waiter handling the entire main dining area throughout most of our visit. While the service was commendable, he simply didn’t have enough time to attend to each table, which led us to be asked to place all our appetizer orders at once."

"we had a reservation of 7 o'clock, eating was empty, but filled within an hour. we ordered drinks, and when they were delivered, we ordered our meal. our appetizer was very good, and the dishes were never taken away, our waiter came and asked if we ordered our main course. the service was very slow. there was only one waiter and two bus boys, for the whole dining room. not wise for a Valentine's Day evening. there was much help in the bar."

"I had made reservations a week in advance for my wedding anniversary. We were seated immediately in a noisy area where we could hear conversations from other customers and employees throughout our entire meal. Despite having three different servers attending to us, they were unable to bring us bread. I asked multiple times to different people, but our bread only arrived after we had finished eating, and it was cold. We felt ignored and invisible during our meal. This used to be our go-to restaurant for weekends, but we left feeling extremely disappointed. We will not be returning."

"I'll start by saying my daughter and I were sat at a table where there was a horrendous smell of urine. When we left, they at least had the smarts to leave Table 22 vacant.I wanted a table for 2 people. I gave my name and cell number to get a text. I was told it would be a 25 minute wait, but it was more like 5 minutes. When I was providing my information, I saw an elderly male walking out with a walker and his pants were wet around his waist. I felt sorry for him on the inside. I never thought in a million years I would be seated where he probably just sat. I'm not saying that happened, but there was a horrific smell at Table 22. I didn't notice it immediately as I had my mask on. After placing my food order and getting my drink, I took my mask off. Oh my goodness, that urine smell hit me like a ton of bricks. My server was very apologetic. One of the managers not so much. I was told other people in the restaurant told them of the smell. So why in the world would you seat someone there. I was told they saw no liquid. I don't care; it could have dried up depending on how long the guests sat at the table. I did complete a form on the incident. Since it was 7 PM and my daughter was really hungry, we sat at another table to eat our food. My meal was overcooked probably because it sat long waiting. Another manager offered a replacement but I was ready to go. They did take off about 20% from the bill. I basically gave that to the server as he was really nice. Since the food wasn't that great, I more than likely won't go back ever again. I already told a friend about my experience. She will never go."

"La Marea was a wonderful surprise. We visit the area from time to time, and while the restaurants are usually decent, La Marea stands out. Originating from Westchester, where we have plenty of dining options, it certainly matches that standard. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I can't praise it enough. You just have to experience it for yourself."

"We enjoyed our experience at 1700 Degrees! The ambiance was quiet and subdued while eclectic at the same time. Our server was very attentive and friendly, as were her supporting staff. The food was cooked to perfection and flavorful. My husband got the Waygu Steak and I got the Filet; both were exceptional. If we were to be nit-picky, the cutting board that my husband's steak came out on was a little big, but other than that, everything was amazing. Worth every penny."

"The food was delicious and service top-notch! Our waiter was was so genuine and incredibly friendly even though it was just before the lunch close time. He never made us feel rushed and had a great conversation with us about the restaurant which we were visiting for the first time as we stopped in Springfield on our route to Oshkosh. I'd stop again...even though a bit out of our way...well worth it!"

"To be fair we were here on Christmas Day… however our server literally avoided us. It took a hour (11:15-12:10) to get our drinks, in that time our order was not taken and the waters were not refilled. We were meeting family we hadn’t seen in years for two hour before their flight but we didn’t get to order food in that time, luckily they messed up and brought two of one of the drinks because they didn’t come back to ask if anyone else wanted anything so only three of the five of us had drinks. Great environment to chat which is good because it’s all we got to do. When half the party left (12:50) our server came over and asked if we were ready to order, we were ready to leave. Totally ordered; five drinks one appetizer total brought to table; three drinks."

"We have been here many times in the past and this was absolutely the worst. It went bad really fast, that's because our appetizers were rushed out to our table after being obviously microwaved instead of made fresh. We ordered our bottle of wine and ordered our meals, lobster stuffed mushrooms which we were going to split. The sauce was piping hot and the inside was cold. It came out just as our wine got opened and when we asked about bread for the table the waiter stated we don't have it now because of Covid. Really? Then we asked why we were being rushed and he responded with we are shorthanded. Wouldn't it take longer for the food to come out if you were shorthanded. We cancelled our dinners and paid for our bottle of wine and left. We went to Due Amici and enjoyed a nice dinner. It used to be an upscale steakhouse, not anymore!"

"We had an amazing dinner celebrating! Amirah was so nice and very personable! She didn’t make us feel rushed and she made amazing recommendations!! I highly recommend adding the crab cake to the fall salad (SO good! and the simply prepared salmon did not disappoint! We finished the night off with beverages and crème brûlée with fresh berries. Such a good experience! Dietary restrictions: Was great about omitting things from the salad and doing my sons Mac n cheese without additional salt or seasoning Parking: Easy to park! Kid-friendliness: Amirah was great with our almost 3 year old. She understood and made sure his kids meal came out first."

"HORRIBLE horrible horrible. First of all let me say that I have been a customer for the last five years. The food and atmosphere used to be so wonderful but the last year or two has been mediocre at best. The food quality has gone down, the quality of the dining experience is low (with dirty tables everywhere, dirty dishes, an absolutely horrific bathroom, and staff that look like they don't want to be there)... but tonight is the straw that broke the camels back.... I ordered a dish on DoorDash and thought that I had added a request in the notes section. I had not, which was totally my fault but I called to see if they could accommodate my request anyway. I was meant on the phone with just about the rudest most low class woman I've ever spoken to in a professional setting... I was in the process of telling her what happened and she kept cutting me off to argue and yell. I was so confused as to why she was angry so I told her that I didn't call her to argue and that I needed her to just hear what I was saying so that she could understand the full scope of my question. She put me on hold quickly and then put a manager on the phone who mimicked her same nasty attitude and horrible disposition. It was so disappointing that I called back to speak with the manager again and told him that I didn't appreciate the nastiness and that they had lost a customer... He said absolutely nothing as if it didn't even matter. Well I hope it doesn't because I will NEVER GO TO OR ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!! The idea that you think it's appropriate to yell at people or be nasty because of a simple question is ridiculous...these times are hard and people are hurting and if I wanna treat myself and my family to a night out to dinner I don't wanna have to argue through your mediocre food in your nasty staff to do it. there are too many great restaurants in Chicago with wonderful customer service to deal with them..."

"Have dined her before, and this was New Year's Eve, so that needs to be kept in mind. The food was very good and the portion size is good. Service was off, but to be honest, it is always slow here. This restaurant is not for everyone as they serve no bread and use no butter, but their ingredients are high quality. Our group had many dishes and most all were successful. We were disuaded from the Mahi Mahi as we were told the kitchen seems to have trouble getting it cooked at the proper level. The Beef Short Ribs and Strip Steak were very good, as was the Salmon. Two of us ordered the Key Lime Pie dessert, and it should have come with a magnifying glass. The Wine List contains enough selections and pricing is fair. I would continue to dine here as their food is very reliable and enjoyable, but know that service is going to be slow."

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."
