"Happy Hour has 1/2 price wine bottles and $4 off some food. The coconut shrimp and truffle fries were great! The mixed salad was pretty good (but kind of expensive for the size and being just lettuce, tomatoes and gorgonzola . It wasn't clear, but thesliders come with just two and salad, but they were good. The fish tacos looked great, so need to try those next time. It gotpretty busy just after Happy Hour with folks stalking us for our table (and actually asking to put their stuff on our extrachair! !"

"First time being there the atmosphere was really good that it was quite enough where the three of us could carry on a conversation without yelling it was nice. The waiter checked-in often and was very polite and fun. The food was really good. The cheese curds we're good but a lot of breading and not a lot of cheese in them. The rest of the food was really good I had the walleye, my friend had the steak, and my other friend had the ribs. Food came out hot and fresh. Reading some of the other reviews about the service we did not experience that. Sounds like they are working on it if there is issues. Overall great service good food a nice atmosphere and good location and variety of food on the menu!"

"We went BRIX in the pearl district of Portland on Sunday. Had not been back for a long time. This time my Partner invited his client and visiting parents from Seattle. He thought it would be nice to invite a party of 5 to Brix for brunch. This lunch was very disappointing. The Crab omelettes arrived cold. The hash browns were also cold. One person in the party ordered waffles with eggs and sausages. No syrup was offered or ever delivered to the table. Our impatient waitress Haley, rushed the bill to the table without checking in, to see if we wanted anything else. I felt as though she hated her job and could not wait to see us leave so that another party could take the table. I regret having brunch at Brix. I will not be back and warn anyone else looking for a good breakfast in Portland to avoid making my mistake. No point wasting money at Brix on poor quality food and the worst possible service. There are so many other great restaurant options available in Portland."

"Seafood lovers will enjoy eating at this restaurant, but vegetarians and vegans may not understand why. Personally, I am not a fan of seafood restaurants where the vegetarian options are often expensive, lacking creativity, and have a hint of fishiness. I tried the kale salad, but some of it was discolored. I was dining with a group and did not choose the restaurant, but I would not recommend it to fellow vegetarians. There are a few salads that can be modified to be vegan-friendly, but with Green Elephant nearby, I would suggest going elsewhere if possible. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was not very enjoyable."

"To preface this visit, it was Saturday night and it was pretty busy (seemed to also be some kind of event on one end of the place). After reserving a spot, we were seated within a few minutes right by their water mill and we noticed right away that the decor was very warm and inviting. Typically when you sit down, water is brought to you as a baseline. We didn't receive water at all, but it wasn't a huge deal. Our waiter was an older gentleman, who seemed nice and knowledgeable of the menu. Took about 20 or so minutes to get our drink orders in, and by that time we were pretty hungry and got our dinner order in. Understandably that took another 30 minutes, as we ordered the lobster and salmon. Our sodas were a little on the flat side of things, but it wasn't bad. We got the food and visibly they looked great. My salmon came with a goat-cheese risotto and I swapped the other side for mashed potatoes. The salmon was really good, nice subtle seasoning and texture was great. The mashed potatoes however were a bit too salty, and the choice of goat-cheese for the risotto was interesting but not in a way that would keep me eating it. My GF's lobster needed more seasoning/salt for sure, it wasn't bad though overall. Her mashed was also salty, and her veggies were pretty sad and flavorless. We also received bread just after we got our food, which was a bit odd since that typically comes out first. The bread might've been the best thing we had that night. We wished our waiter was a bit more attentive since he didn't check on us once during the entire evening and we had to call him over each time. Overall the food was decent at best, possibly a bit pricey for the lack of balanced flavorings but I digress. Would give it another shot though in the future."

"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. "Restaurant barely had anyone in it but all diners were seated right now to to each other unless you went to the bar. Server took 10 mins to enter our drink and appetizer order on her electronic device. Dinner order was same. "We stumbled into 110 Grill based on a recommendation, and we are so glad that we did. We had a great lunch there this weekend, and will be back soon. Once we got inside (and left the strip mall vibe behind , we had a terrific experience from start to finish. The hostess was helpful and warm in greeting us. The food was excellent, from the burgers to the salads. (I had a piece of salmon on my salad that was cooked to perfection. The best part of the meal was our server, Luis, who took great care of us. We were a family of four, including a couple of 90-somethings, and Luis took care of all of us with skill, warmth, and good humor. We will be back!"

"Our server was just plain not a good server. She never actually told us her name. She had black hair somewhat curly, I believe began with an S. We had to ask for bread three times. Finally got it at the end of our meal. Our server didn’t bring out our food. So they just auctioned off food, this is just not the way I expect my food served unless I go to like McDonald’s. Drinks were empty, not refilled. We had to attempt to flag them down multiple times. But the table next to us. It’s was wiped 5 times and no one ever say at it the whole time we were there. We were one of the only two tables outside. So we were VERY disappointed, especially since I’ve only heard good things. If it wasn’t Christmas and since I have heart. She’s lucky she got a tip. Cause I considered not tipping. Tipping means proper service and that is not what we received."

The bill payment process at the end was a bit uncomfortable, as the waitress waited nearby while we paid, even though they mentioned that the tip had already been included. "So where do I start? 1. We arrived for an early dinner at 4:30pm. There were probably only 5 other tables with people and somehow we got seated at a floating table in the middle, next to the sushi bar and the kitchen door. Considering how big therestaurant is and how many open tables there were that was ridiculous. We were only a party of 2. 2. I ordered the special shrimp tempura bowl. It wasn't shrimp tempura. It was a deep fried shrimp in the same batter as the fish and chips. Presentationwas pretty but for the price? I wouldn't get it again. 3 pieces of shrimp, 2 asparagus split into 4 pieces, and 4 slices of ared bell pepper. 3. Fish and chips the fish was very thick cut and at the same time it fell into pieces with each bite. We'vedefinitely had better elsewhere. 4. The clam chowder was underwhelming. I would not recommend it here. 5. The only item weenjoyed was the calamari. 6. On the bright side our waiter Zack was great!"

But within 18 hours of me posting this review I received a call from Kayla of Montana's to discuss my experience. And because of this effort made by the restaurant I have decided to go back and see if the experience is different. Then I will post again.)When we arrived we were told that there was a 35 minute wait. We said no problem and asked to be seated at the bar (where there was plenty of room) until our table was ready. Was told that we could sit at the bar but then would not be moved to a table. I replied that it would make sense to sit us at the bar and make money off of us buying drinks instead of just standing around waiting. The hostess said that was not allowed. I asked to speak to the manager and he said that would cause too many problems with their system. They had whole empty patio that they could have sat us instead of us standing blocking the doors or standing outside. That certainly didn't seem like good business sense or good customer service. If we had not already made arrangements to meet people there, we would have left. But I will not be going back. (Montana's Prince George, BC)"

"Last Saturday night of us went to Montana's. From the outset it was clearly going to be a challenge. We were seated on extremely hard benches very close together (definitely not Covid protocol or even comfortable) and greeted by an exhausted caustic server. Initially...his behaviour seemed novel but that very quickly wore off as he proceeded to berate and scold us for asking questions. Everything was extremely slow to arrive, including an unordered dish! My husband waited whilst the rest of us had food to eat, probably for minutes. Out of different dishes only two seemed passable, the rest almost inedible. Next there were attempts to get the bill correct and eventually one of our group had to rewrite all the orders and see the manager for the restaurant to make the correct adjustments. A giant fiasco! You couldn't pay me to go there again. Avoid it at all costs!"

"I love this Moxies! Upscale dining area and fancy bar. The staff are always beautiful here and the place has an overall ritzy vibe. "I went to a restaurant to catch up with my girlfriend after not seeing each other for a long time. I ordered a variety appetizer, which was good, but the waitress forgot my chicken fingers and they came out 20 minutes later, although she apologized. While we were engrossed in conversation at our booth, my friend noticed something crawling on the top of the seat - it was a ROACH. We both jumped up to check for any other bugs and went to the restroom to inspect our clothing. We informed the female manager, who told us that an exterminator had been called and would be coming later. Although we were thanked for bringing it to her attention, we were concerned about the other patrons in our area. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant anytime soon."
