"Been putting off writing this review for far too long. While we live in North Merrick and there are quite a few bagel places between us and Bagelman, centrally located on Merrick Ave (next to Outback it is always well worth the drive. For the extra few minutes in the car you can get phenomenal bagels or all types... cream cheeses and tuna salad... and... oh yes, the egg salad. Let's explore their egg salad for a moment: I have a 7 year old son, and as you can imagine, he is picky with his meals and doesn't enjoy a wide variety. But he LOVES their egg salad and to be honest so does my wife and I. Not sure what it is but there really is nothing like it anywhere. Best egg salad I've ever had. And my son has me get it there at least once a week for him (he often has it on a hollowed out bagel! Add in the absolutely fantastic staff who remembers me and my son, by name... always has a kind word and a smile on their face. Family owned not a chain just damned good food and service. Bagel Man of Merrick top notch!"
