My husband, father-in-law, and I all enjoyed our meals, which included white clam sauce with pasta and Italian tacos. I'm not sure if the tacos were meant to be served cold, as they had a bruschetta style, but they were still tasty.
My daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese from the kids' menu, but what we received looked more like pasta with Alfredo sauce. When we asked our waitress, Claire, if this was a mistake or actually their version of mac and cheese, she kindly informed us that it was indeed their mac and cheese. I mentioned that it didn’t taste like mac and cheese, and my daughter didn’t like it. Unfortunately, I was hoping she would offer to get her something else or at least discuss exchanging it, but she just laughed and walked away. This was really disappointing because my daughter ended up not eating anything while the rest of us enjoyed our meals.
The next time we saw her, she was busy clearing plates from our table, which made me wish I had just taken my daughter to get food elsewhere. I’m sure we’ll return eventually, and we'll definitely request John again. I hope that the staff and owners read these reviews and take it as a learning opportunity for our waitress. Despite the service hiccup regarding the food exchange, Claire was very kind."
