"Went to Mashies for the Mothers Day Buffet. I have to say, it was one of the BEST Buffets I have ever been to in the Peoria Area. The food line was well maintained with a lot of fresh hot items, both breakfast entrees and lunch/dinner entrees. The Staff did an excellent job of keeping our drinks full and used plates cleared. Thanks Mashies Guys and Gals for a wonderful Mothers Day Meal!!"

"First walked in and I remembered the trays and the counter top made to pull the tray along the salad bar and toppings. That was a nice memory. The choices of salad and toppings were good. They needed to be colder just a bit. Example: beets were warm. Some had spilled topping along the counter so I had to keep picking my tray up as to not drag it thru the mess. They preferred method of payment was cash. But they did take cards also. They only items you can get yourself is the drinks and the pizza. Everything else you have to ask to be served as it is behind plastic sheeting. Muffins a normal size that you can make yourself at home. I believe they had 4 kinds. Their soups looked old as someone needed to stir them they had a layer of film on the top. I asked for the clam chowder. It was not very hot. They had baked potatoes. Which you had to ask for them to fix it all up with the toppings. You can not do it yourself. No bread sticks as I remember from before. The desert bar consisted of ice cream that they scoop for you (only vanilla) it tasted as if it was refreezed and mixed it with new ice cream. They had toppings but I passed.They ambiance was if I was at a Mexican restaurant in Mexico as the music was in a different language. Mexican music. The bathrooms were very messy. Toilet paper on the floors and dirty toilets. Yellow on the backs of the toilets as if men were allowed to use the women's bathroom. My husband and I said that it's like it's on its last legs. While I thought it would be nice to go to fresh choice. This is definitely NOT the fresh choice I remember. I will not be returning."

"We used Made From Scratch for my dad's 90th birthday party yesterday. The delivery person, John, was very friendly, punctual, and accommodating. Working with Kelley was easy. She was very helpful, quick to reply, and knowledgeable. Their food was delicious! All of my guests commented on how tasty the food was and a very good variety. We had caprese mushrooms, quiche, chicken strips, and beef skewers, plus mini sandwiches, veggie and cheese tray to feed 150 guests. They even left a hot box to keep the extra food warm and came by later to pick it up, so I didn't have to worry about that since I live out of town. I would highly recommend Made From Scratch!"

"Large lake view from the terrace This is on the main road so it can have a lot of traffic, but between traffic you can see the beautiful lake. There are very limited parking spaces, some handicap parking spaces behind the building. Maybe three or four spots on the property to the parking lot, everything else can be found on your own. The menu is also limited. Very few decisions, but from the elections there is a good variety. I tried the cod sandwich, found a big bone in my fish. That wasn't a good surprise. The French frits were really good, thin flat potato wedge for but with crispy crumbs. Very different from all the others I tried, and very tasty."

"This is definitely the best Togo's in the Bay Area, located in my lovely town of East Palo Alto. I frequent this place three times a week! It's the cleanest and friendliest sandwich spot on the entire peninsula. Make sure to mention that Coach Anthony recommended you! With 15 years of experience managing restaurants, I can say this place gives me the same positive vibes! The service is fast, friendly, and the restrooms are cleaned three times a day, if not more!"

"Owner of Sunset Hills Eatery paid for enough hotel rooms to keep over 40 unhoused individuals warm during the Arctic Blast.Corey Campbell, owner of Sunset Hills Eatery, took to Facebook after noticing the extreme temperature drops coming to Central Illinois, and seeing the Salvation Army was becoming limited on space. Campbell wanted to see what his community thought of helping the unhoused.After a large response of community members backing his idea, the post being shared over 1500 times, Campbell purchased enough rooms to keep over 40 unhoused individuals warm, including three pregnant women. He was also able to have over 20 meals delivered to an encampment in Pekin, known as Tent City, and pay for heating services to be repaired to the homes of three families.“I think as a restaurant owner, I’ve learned the importance of community support. Right, and our ability to give back and the voice that we have with so many people they follow our pages, our social media pages.” Campbell said.Campbell says that he wants to use this experience to learn new ways to direct people to get the proper help."

"What a gem! We were in search of a breakfast spot and couldn’t have been happier to choose Bella’s. The music created a lovely atmosphere, with selections from Vanessa May and The Greatest Showman—always a great choice, thank you! Riverfront restaurants have a certain charm, and Bella’s exceeded our expectations by creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The service was excellent with hardly any wait time. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. This isn’t your typical breakfast place; it’s more of a restaurant, so it’s a bit pricier, but definitely worth it. "I've been coming to this Togo's for YEARS! I have witnessed it's ups and downs. The owners must be proud of their staff right now, because they are rock solid as a team. When I order food I'm sceptical about it being made due to many instances where I've had to check first before I pay or walk away, but not here!! They actually listen and I get what I ask for. Even if it's busy the wait is worth it. I really appreciate the time they take to make the experience great. I recently broke my tradition of endless Turkey Avocado sammich to branch and try other things on the menu. Triple Dip is a triple threat if you're in the mood for 3 meals in 1. Their soups are better than any I've come across which is a shocker and even helped me get over a cold! Most importantly let's not forget it's important when you visit a place and the people who work their enjoy their jobs. The atmosphere is so clean and I got my whole family hooked on it. I can't go home without sharing a bite. Keep it up Togo's!!"

"I stopped in here for happy hour after work and was glad I checked their parking situation. They validate parking for the garage right across the street so that saved time and money! Overall their happy hour is great. Very inexpensive drinks $3 beers, $5 cocktails) and the food was inexpensive as well. I didn't order any food while I was there so can't comment on it, but the beverages were good and they had a decent beer list. Our server was friendly as well and checked in a decent amount. Recommend for a good happy hour!"

"I read about this place in sfgate and I'm so happy I did! I drive by here all the time and never knew it was here. Really great breakfast burritos. Ordered 5 for my staff and everyone loved it. They're huge and filling for the entire day. Can't go wrong w tater tots in a breakfast burrito. Very nice owner. Easy parking. Quick order to go. I will definitely be going back!"

"This is it, folks. FRESH, delicious, healthy-ish, great service. This is my favorite place to eat in all of Simi Valley. I have not had something here I dislike- from their world-class nachos all the way to healthy options like superfood salads. The restaurant is always clean and friendly. Their salsas are some of the best around and I could just gush forever. The best part is they have something for everyone- kids meals, vegan options, low carb, hell, I think even a bodybuilder can eat a Power Plate here...I'm usually over here with my fish tacos (10/10) or a Santa Fe burrito but I like that I can pick something a little lighter if I want to. Never leave Simi, Sharkys!"
