"My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner. We enjoyed the atmosphere immediately with the live music playing outside. We ordered several drinks from the bar and they were delicious!! I ordered pizza which was by far some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. He had chicken fingers which were plump and sauced just right. Oh, and the garlic knots were out of this world! Fantastic, friendly service rounded off this pleasant evening. We will be back again!!"

"Atmosphere was nice...cozy, quaint. Server was attentive, polite, cheerful and our food was delivered in a timely manner. On their website, they boast a very impressive family history and 'commitment to excellence ' but we left extremely disappointed with the quality of food. We spent nearly $100 on four people without beverages and walked away frustrated. Bread placed on the table looked and tasted as if it was from the bread isle of a grocery store. If you 're going to serve bread as a starter, it should be impressive, not an obligatory gesture (I 've had bread at chain restaurants that put this restaurant 's to shame). Appetizer of pulled pork nachos was tasty, but not generously portioned. I tasted my husband 's spinach and cheese calzone and we both agreed it was somewhat flavorless. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan with a side of risotto...the eggplant was thick and extremely rubbery (I could barely cut it), and the risotto tasted like it came from a box. As for our friends ' they never overtly complimented their food and only ate about half. The only thing I really enjoyed from my dinner was my side Caesar salad. Because we were with company, I didn 't want to make a fuss over my dinner, but I was disappointed I wasn 't asked if something was wrong with my meal seeing I left 3/4 of it on my plate and said 'no thank you ' to a box. It 's too bad...it 's a charming place with great atmosphere and friendly staff, but much of the food was simply awful. Perhaps instead of having such an extensive menu and poorly executed food, they should pare down their offerings and excel at those dishes."

"We visited for Valentine's Day and had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptionally polite and professional, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for such a lovely venue. We ordered the Mushu Veggies, which were only $8.95, and they prepared the wraps for us tableside in a stylish manner that I've never encountered before—complete with a unique three-spoon technique! We also enjoyed veggie wontons, along with grilled and hot and sour soup. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable yet charming restaurant for a date."

"The food was delicious. The service was horrible. We were served our food and the waitress never came back. We didn’t have clean napkins and had to suck on ice cubes to quench our thirst. When our waitress finally returned she handed us the check and told us to have a good night and walked away. Never asked if we needed anything or if everything was ok. While she watches me sucking my last ice cube. No one cares that service was horrible. I will not be returning. It is very sad we paid $70 and had to leave to get water in car because of such poor service."

"Came in at 8pm- an hour before close. The girl at the host stand said “hi we close in an hour.” I said “okay, well it’s just me and my daughter. Can we still eat?” I really wish she would have just said no because she made the next hour really awful. She sat us down and turns out she was our waitress too. Wonderful. Every single time she spoke to us she mentioned how long it was before they closed. At about 8:20 she said I couldn’t order anything else because the cooks were cleaning the oven so me and my daughter got stuck splitting a meal. My daughter (she’s 4) started feeling sick and I wanted to leave but our waitress literally left and didn’t come back after that. I had to ask someone else for boxes and to find her so I could get the check. Theres no reason to treat someone so rudely just for wanting to get dinner. We didn’t see here for over 20 minutes and had been done with our meal for almost as long. By the time we got the check, We were literally cashing out at 5 minutes to 9. Our bill was 14 bucks and I tipped her 3 dollars and she was MAD. She literally rolled her eyes at me and snatched the money off the counter and shoved it in her pocket without looking up and said “next time please come in earlier because now I have all these tables to clean up” (note that there was another table with two men who cashed out right before us and another older man who is always there who cashed out after us but she didn’t say a word about it to either of them) It’s really upsetting because I’ve been coming here once a week with my daughter and friends for the past 3 months for the Greek food and the sandwhiches. I always leave tips that are 20 percent or more and I don’t stay that long. I was rushed out the door, treated like crap, and I’m so upset that this woman had some sort of chip on her shoulder the entire time we were there from the moment we walked in. I would never consider not tipping someone (maybe she had a bad day) but the comment at the end made me wish I didn’t! What kind of servers are you guys hiring here?!? I don’t even want to come back because of this experience"

"Kobe House is not a family-friendly restaurant. The staff attempted to seat my family of four separately, despite the availability of four chairs together. My two toddlers made it difficult to manage being split up. It was particularly frustrating because there was already a couple at the table who weren't seated at the end. I would recommend avoiding this place if you have a family!"

"The food arrived 30 minutes later than the estimated time I was given over the phone. When I called to inquire, I was informed that the driver had multiple deliveries, which I can understand. However, what I can't accept is that the food was cold and soggy upon arrival. Additionally, they sent the wrong drink because they were out of my selection, instead of contacting me to discuss alternatives."

"Had a delicious lunch here on a Monday afternoon around 12:30 PM. The restaurant was busy, but not packed. We were seated promptly and ordered food within 10 minutes. The waitress was very sweet, but she was busy since it appeared she was the only waitstaff. Regardless of her being the only server, we still had our waters filled and our order came out fast. This is probably my favorite Mediterranean restaurant that I have been to in Wichita. We ordered the hummus with pine nuts, the tomato soup, falafel sandwich with salad and chicken shish kabob plate with veggies. All of the meals were excellent, piping hot, and extremely fresh. The only thing I would say is that the manager or owner was there and didn’t help the server much, even though he stopped by our table. We ordered the spumoni last minute, and instead of taking the order, he sent the server over. I would recommend this restaurant and would also eat here again on another visit."

"Noboru was one of our favorite Japanese restaurants on the windward side. We hadn't been there in many years and decided to revisit it. There weren't many customers but the food service was very slow. Our server was pleasant and the ambiance seemed familiar; however, the vibe was very different. Food came out one dish at a time with the rice being the very last item. Our party was large but not too large for the confusion of items for each of us. We probably won't return."

"Yum yum!. I love family owned restaurants, the extra attention to the details really makes all the difference. I have eaten many of the items on the menu, and have my favorites for sure. One word BLUE CHEESE, homemade and just about anything can be deeper into it fries, pizza, fingers, wings, even subs). I also love the Popeyes pizza which of course is made with the blue cheese). Other favorites are homemade lasagne, chicken finger subs you can get blue chz on it too) oh and eppies mini personal pizza wrap can be of any kind of pizza). Gotta try it, not just one but two or three times."

"I ordered a BLT and paid for it, but when I received my food, it was just bacon with toasted bread—nothing else. I asked the staff why it was served that way, and they provided me with a separate container of tomatoes and lettuce. However, I had specifically ordered a BLT sandwich. The person didn't offer to refund my money; instead, they simply told me to have a nice day! Overall, the staff seemed indifferent to the situation."

"Cool staff. Great donuts. Not sure about the pizza because we didn't get any. Donuts were absolutely awesome and absolutely fresh. Best donuts around. Open 24 hrs. Don't know why so many places close so early in a tourist town. It's frustrating. But you can go here to get food anytime. Btw. I'm pretty sure the owner actually makes the food and works the kitchen. He was there and he's on the box. So that's cool too."
