Shrimp Cashews, Beef Broccoli Chicken Fried Rice On this particular visit, I chose one of my favorites…Shrimp Cashews, while my husband decided on the Beef Broccoli presentation. Both dishes were served in colorfully-designed serving plates and included large shrimp, cashews and tender pieces of beef with freshly steamed and stir fried broccoli. A side of chicken fried rice accompanied these selections magnificently. Delicious, and such a deal for lunch in the nonstop L.A area, Bamboo Cuisine in the heart of Sherman Oaks is the place for that perfect lunch when you’re looking for delicious cuisine in a relaxed and tranquil setting. "I would not at all recommend Wilfrid`s for their buffet brunch. While the cold buffet offers a few higher end choices, such as cold prawns, smoked salmon and fresh lettuce with its accoutrements, the mixed salads are nondescript and loaded with objectionable ingredients. The hot buffet is unimaginative, limited and in my experience at least, always dried up, unappetizing and overcooked, even when the buffet opens. Half empty selections are neither rearranged nor removed, there is a preponderance of either cheap cuts of beef, pork and other dishes which do not cater to traditional food restrictions, the fish is overdone and over spiced, and the so-called chef behind the counter is defensive and unhelpful. It is not possible to order an egg done the way you like it, the fresh fruit is tasteless and not ripe, there is no fresh squeezed juice or even semblance thereof, and the dessert table is uninspiring. On the positive front, the atmosphere is pleasant, though the chairs are so heavy that even a prize fighter would have trouble moving them in and out from the table. Depending on which server is assigned to your table, the service can be friendly, but even that is inconsistent, as the staff usually does not attend to the guests as they should, probably because it is a buffet. In short, use your hard earned dollars for an à la carte brunch somewhere else and possibly try this place for a drink and a snack."

"Supposedly some of the noodle dishes can be made vegan, but we just had the sushi. There is a variety of vegan sushi available avocado, cucumber, various mixed veggies, fried tofu, etc. The vegan sushi was quite good. Tamari is also available. The owner recently revamped the menu to make it more vegan and vegetarian friendly. We were told the miso soup was vegan, but it might be a good idea to verify this yourself."

"I ordered two dishes from Uber Eats, and I have to say, the food was truly disappointing. The first item was the chicken and broccoli, which had a bizarre odor and tasted terrible. The curry chicken was just as bad; it seemed like I was only tasting ginger, and the texture of the chicken was off—almost unrecognizable. I attempted to get a refund, but it seems that's not possible through Uber Eats. I urge everyone to steer clear of those two dishes. I can't comment on the rest of the menu since I haven't tried anything else, but I can confidently say I won't be ordering from this restaurant again."

"Waiters here are friendly most of the time, but people who bring good sometimes just throw it on the table. Many servers have bad manners in this restaurant! Also, they go around with dirty carts picking up dirty plates this is the worst feature of this restaurant! Even in fast food places nobody that! This just makes this place trashy! "Food overall is good but a bit overpriced. Magic potato and 锅包肉 are great. Fried pullock skin is well seasoned and very crispy.We were told that there would be chicken cartilage in the crescent bone rice ball dish but we didn't find any. The cold noodles had so much shaved ice in the soup without much substantial ingredients. The soup's taste was heavy on salt with a hint of sour and sweet. "When visiting Suntory, plan ahead and make reservations. Too often I 've wanted to have a quick lunch at Suntory only to find out they 're fully booked for lunch. My Mom loves Suntory and has been asking me to take her for awhile. Luckily I snagged reservations and ordered the limited set Shunsai lunch. Service at Suntory is always great. We were seated at a very nice and comfortable table. Our server was attentive and efficient. Not to mention the a/c was at a perfect temperature. Not too hot or cold which for me is hard to do. Everyone in our group found something to suit their taste. For me, the tempura and cold udon combo was excellent. Tempura was crispy, light, and had all the right vegetables with a fried shrimp. The cold udon was also good but maybe too light in flavor. My Dad had the Shunsai and he said it was special. While there wasn 't a specific dish that stood out, he thought the entire set was well done and ample. My Mom had the cold soba and tempura. She enjoyed it and said it was very good. I wish they would bring back their lunch specials. I used to have this baked salmon avocado mayo dish that was very good. That was the only disappointment as I was looking forward to maybe ordering that dish. Since Suntory is located in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center parking was tight and validation limited. "This is my go-to Chinese restaurant; it's the only one I enjoy. All the food is prepared in-house, with no frozen vegetables and no strange aftertaste. The dishes are bursting with flavor and generous portions of meat. We love the lunch specials, which include options like chicken, shrimp, beef and broccoli, or orange chicken (I always add broccoli for an extra $1.50, and it's definitely worth it!). The veggie roll that comes with the lunch special is fantastic—light and crunchy! I’d give the lunch special a solid 10/10. It also includes pork or egg fried rice; I prefer egg while my kids go for the pork, and both are absolutely delicious. Seriously, don’t go anywhere else; you’ll be disappointed with the quality! The customer service here is great as well!"

"You cannot imagine what AMAZING means to me. Years ago when I was making jewelry, one of the dealers that I frequented on Mulberry St. recommended AMAZING for lunch. "Been coming here for years , the service was good , food was exceptional, and it was very clean recently stopped in and didn’t like the table I was sat at so I asked the lady to sit somewhere else she looked at me like I was crazy and had a problem with sitting me at another table from there she didn’t want to help us she had a attitude the whole time so when we asked for boxes for our food her and another lady with orange hair started boxing our stuff for us after the fact that the service wasn’t good , they were eye hustling when we were paying and I didn’t leave a tip because the experience I had wasn’t good . When she picked up the receipt she says “no tip” out loud and was walking towards me when I was leaving with my party like who does that if I didn’t leave you tip it’s clearly because the service I got wasn’t good"

"This place has quickly become my new favorite restaurant. Most of the dishes we've tried have been above average. The hot and sour soup was delicious, and the Szechuan crispy prawns were fantastic as well. The sweet and sour deep-fried fish was enjoyable, though it had quite a bit of batter. Nonetheless, I would definitely order it again. We also liked the Moo Shu, which we had with shrimp. The Kung Pao chicken had great flavor but was a bit overcooked and dry. We found the cashew nut chicken, mixed veggie beef, and black mushroom with tofu to be somewhat bland and not our favorites. Someone suggested trying the Happy Family Delights, so that's on our list for next time. As for the service, we had no complaints despite the restaurant being packed. It did take a little while for us to place our orders and receive our food, but the waitress was friendly and joked with us. She was clearly working hard, managing two large groups that arrived simultaneously. Overall, this place is definitely worth a return visit."

"It 's great Cantonese homestyle cooking. The dishes are flavorful and seasoned with enough 'wok air/flavor ' and their food is consistently good and reasonably priced. The Yang Chow Fried Rice, salt and pepper prawns, braised beef tofu with vegetables, and garlic chicken are our favorites. The dessert varies, sometimes it 's a sweet potato sweet soup, red bean or tapioca soup. Nothing is very exceptional, but the food is consistent, quality-wise, and they 're very efficient time-wise and ok cumbersome service."
