"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"This has been on my go-to list for a long time now. Being a dessert fan, I just had to try the cheesecakes here. <br/ <br/ The location is convenient and although the place looks deceptively small from the outside, it is pretty huge inside with a large number of booths. Unfortunately, this also means getting the servers attention is pretty hard.  <br/ <br/ The food is ok, special mention to the fried calamari with the garlic sauce; crispy and just perfect. Portion sizes are pretty huge, so its worth the price tag. Moving on to the much awaited part, the cheesecakes! Quite a huge variety, took our time deciding on what to order. Settled on the red velvet cheesecake. Was delish, but a little too rich. The biscuit base was too little and the cheesecake portion, very large. That threw the balance off making it quite heavy and rich. Flavor wise, fantastic and definitely lived up to the hype. Edit: I dropped in more recently, to order a takeaway on the cheesecake and the staffer was fantastic; very helpful. Decided on the Godiva Chocolate cheesecake (pic below) and it was just perfect-o!"

"Tried this joke of a place for the first time using the Slice app.While using the app, the user is presented with a choice of a crust, regular or thin, I chose regular as I hate thin crust.Out of 4 items ordered, 3 were wrong.Pizza was as thin and hard as cardboard (not regular by any standard, photos attached). After raising the issue with Slice, we were told that the only have one type of crust...In that case, why is the user presented with an option?????Ordered white pizza got regular.Ordered diet Pepsi got diet Coke (there is a difference).The last ordered item was pasta in garlic and oil which was over saturated with oil with a large amount of oil sitting in the bottom of the container.The concept of an eatery messing up a written order is mind blowing and goes to show that this place will send you whatever they want, not what the customer asked for or that their staff is simply incompetent in following a very simple request.Needless to say will not be using them ever again."

"First visit for lunch. We both had a corned beef reuben however asked for with coleslaw on mine vs sauerkraut. it’s called a Rachel with coleslaw if paired with fish) Our waitress said, “we have coleslaw so sure” Well, my first bite and I was hooked. Told my husband it was the best tasting corned beef i’ve ever had i’ve been known to frequent Jewish deli’s for a great corned beef. Even the grilled bread was delicious!! Our waitress Shelley I peeked at the bill to see her name) was a sweetheart. We’re definitely going to return. We don’t get out that much anymore so Thank you for a wonderful afternoon."

"My daughter ordered some food From here and it was pretty good. However the chicken wings was not done enough and they tasted like the chicken wasn't clean enough at all. "We had lunch at the restaurant on Thursday and Teresa was our server—she did a fantastic job! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We started with a cup of their clam chowder, which was packed with flavor but quite thick. I had the red rock crab Alfredo, served with a slice of garlic toast, and it was among the best Alfredo I've had in a long time—hats off to the chef! The sauce was creamy and cheesy, filled with chunks of crab that my husband just couldn't resist stealing bites of! He opted for the country-style steak with gravy, which was also quite tasty."

"I wasn't here for the food, even though it has received a lot of great reviews. I just wanted to grab a pint, but when I arrived at 2:30 PM, the place wasn't open yet as they were preparing for a catered event. I'll have to come back another time. Just a heads-up, the B61 bus line runs along Columbia Street, but street parking can be a bit challenging to find. Overall, the storefront and interior looked quite nice from what I could see. So, I plan to give it a try in the future."

"It was our first time at Jamieson's and we were here for the 5lb Burger Challenge. I was doing the challenge, and my family came along to watch. The staff was really into it and really paid attention to what my wife and son needed. The good really was great, even though I did not complete the challenge. I'll definitely be going back to check out the great beer list and the unique Irish inspired dishes. My wife did have the Scotch Eggs and Irish poutine and said they were great. I was so stuffed that I could only take her word for it. :"

"Take out order was complete mess. Food soggy. Pizza stacked on top of each other jammed in to go big made for a mushy pizza sandwich. No lid on appetizer, which I think is how rest of food and take out bag got saturated. The kicker here is in trying to make things better for the next person, I dm’d this place to give them feedback so I didn’t have to resort to a bad review. I don’t want free meal during next visit or any of that handout fix. I only want a piece of mind that my review will better the next person. Their GM asked for my contact to reach out to me….crickets. I responded several times and still no response. It is clear they (he/she) doesn’t value my experience enough to better their product and service. I’m hoping this GM will figure out customer service and represent the owners better in the future."

"I called to place a delivery order, only to be told that they don’t deliver to my location, which is just 1.5 miles away. If you don't deliver that far, then why do you drop off menus at my door? "Use to order here frequently out of convenience and got decent food.. typical pizza takeout joint.. nothing spectacular. After our most recent order however we will not be ordering again. Poor customer service. We received our order later then expected..no biggie. But the pizza was pretty cold and the fried pickles had very clearly been sitting under the warmer for far to longbecause we received them completely soggy and the dipping sauce container was melted into the pickles lol reached out to therestaurant to see if we could just get a refund for the pickles or something as they were inedible and there response was ?nothat?s just how we make them now? lol soggy pickles and melted plastic yum! This stuff happens especially when it?s busy butcustomer service 0/10."
