"We were extremely satisfied with the service we received at your restaurant from one of your exceptional servers. It just so happened that he served us on two separate occasions with dates that were close together. It was a pleasant surprise to be remembered from our previous visit. Whenever my sisters come to visit from out-of-town, we always love dining at Cracker Barrel, and my husband and I frequently enjoy dinner at your establishment as well. The food is consistently delicious, and I must say, our server John L. is top-notch! We made a point to ask for his name during our last visit because we wanted to express our gratitude for his attention to detail. On Tuesday, March 7, we had a wonderful meal and observed how efficiently he served us and those around us. Despite seeming like a busy shift, he continued to serve all guests with a smile, a friendly attitude, and fulfilled all our requests promptly. "Imagine our surprise when we unwrapped the very large ham (which we did notice was quite hefty) only to discover that it wasn't the spiral-cut ham we expected, but rather a whole bone-in ham. We're talking about an 18-pound ham with skin still on it. I have no experience cooking this type of ham, so we tried to make the best of the situation, but ultimately, most of it ended up being chopped up for soup and frozen. Fortunately, one of our sons brought a brisket along. Unfortunately, the ham turned out to be too salty to enjoy. The sides were great, though. I realize we received more meat than we needed, but without knowing how to cook it properly, a lot went to waste. We're very disappointed with the Cracker Barrel in Beaumont, TX."

"I had a last minute (night before! Easter lunch order that I placed online. Our family plans fell apart and with a sick dog I didn't want to go home, decided to check to for two people. It was so easy to order two ham plates with mixed sides at a very reasonable price and I am grateful for this service! It was perfect for two people and the food was very good. Most places have a contract termination several days before a holiday or a minimum order for 6-8. The ability to order individual records in the last minute saved the day. The two employees I spoke with (one on the phone, one delivered my food short page were so pleasant, especially on a very busy holiday and I am also grateful for them. Thank you."

"It took 75 minutes to receive my food after placing an online order for curbside lunch. I was given a pickup time of 15 minutes but had to wait much longer. After checking in by phone and receiving an email while waiting, I went into the store 50 minutes after placing my order to inquire about it. Despite the place not being very full, I was told they were working on it and had other orders ahead of mine. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, I asked another employee about my order and mentioned that I had been waiting for over an hour. Finally, after another 10 minutes, my food was brought out. The food was good, but the long wait for my order was unacceptable. The service was rated as 1 out of 5, the meal type was lunch, and the price per person was $10-20."

"My husband and I went to this location for a late breakfast today. I was very impressed. Our waitress was very friendly, quick, and didn’t leave us waiting for the things we asked for. My husband said that his food was all very good. My eggs were messed up, but they got them replaced quickly and all of my food tasted great. They were also very busy, but or food came out very quickly.My only complaints are:My husband was asked to put a mask on while the four young guys next to him (none wearing masks) we not asked to put one on.There was a lady with long, dark red hair walking around doing different things. I’m not sure if she was a manager, but she didn’t seem to be a waitress. Anyways, it looked like she had two hickeys on the right side of her neck. I just didn’t think that was appropriate for this type of business."

"I have eaten in cracker barrels in the united states and plan stops on our road trips to eat there, and with very few exceptions they were always really good. unfortunately this location was the exception. the place was a train wreck, dirty from floor to deck. the tables were so old, there was bare wood exposed. the bad stunk very bad and urinal flushed properly. it looks like a combination of mold and dust around the air duct work, so they don't look up. Although the employed were not rude, they were certainly not friendly. our food was very warm. I ordered over simple eggs, but they were over cooked. biscuits and gravur were very bland, almost as they forget to season the gravitation. I can't talk about the cracker barrels, only north or south of them, but I can save them a trip down the disappointment track."

"A party of two sit down ordered the triple ontrey classic. To include meatloaf, fried chicken and 3rd , about 10 minutes go by. Then our server returns to tell us they are out of fried chicken and meatloaf. So we take a few minutes to regroup and reorder, 10 minutes later we reorder. 10 to 15 minutes laterour food comes out cold and wrong on my plate . Didn't get a triple classic!!! ?Shrimp is what I ordered and it was hard and rubbery!!!! Didn't get the vegetables that I ordered ? and the girl that brought our food out was having a fit in the kitchen because I said I di not order mac and cheese. "Honestly, I visited Cracker Barrel years ago and didn’t enjoy it at all. However, now that I have kids, this restaurant has become a lifesaver. While I still don’t think the food is particularly good, my children love it, and there’s plenty to keep them entertained. The nostalgic candy and toy section appeals to both adults and kids alike. I finally understand its charm—it’s really a family-oriented place. Kid-friendliness: The entertainment value for kids here is excellent. They have crayons and coloring books on the table, along with those golf pin games that no one seems to know how to play. Plus, there’s a general store filled with candy and games, and lots of rocking chairs outside to relax in."

"I am disappointed with the changes at this restaurant. I used to enjoy getting a medium-sized garden salad with grilled chicken strips and a baked potato, but these options are no longer available. The switch from plain baked potatoes with butter and sour cream on the side to loaded baked potatoes also disappointed me. The turkey and dressing lunch special used to come with a kale and Brussels sprouts salad, which is no longer offered. I had to substitute a potato casserole for the sweet potatoes, which I do not like. Additionally, I have had to request jam with my bread on multiple occasions, and I have not seen honey for the biscuits in years. Each time the menu changes, more and more of the items I enjoy are removed. It will be a while before I consider returning to this restaurant."

"4of us we for breakfast to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It took 45 minutes to get our food. It was the worst breakfast food I’ve ever had! "The store always surprises me an visitors on how beautiful is organized, lighted up and decorated the room was. A warm welcome to the store was nice to hear and we were asked if we need assistance with anything. The Cashier was in place behind the register but unfortunately no one was able to help while we were standing up waiting to be seated. We proceeded to find our own table and surprised to noticed the lack of people at 8:30 am on a Thursday morning (after my long night flight) no one showing up with menus and to take our order. We waited for a few minutes and called the waitress. She came back with the menu and we ordered a coffee and orange juice. The juice had a strange aftertaste twist and the coffee was weak and lack of flavor. While we were talking about our findings we noticed that our favorite omelettes were removed from the menu presenting now less dishes and price change too. We asked the waitress what happened to the delicious omelettes but kindly responded: sorry, this is what we currently have at the moment. We were disappointed and decided to leave the restaurant. I hope that in general this economy will improve and will have back our old Cracker Barrel with great cooks hostess and servers like it used to be."

"My family and I ate there on 1/28/22. It already started off as a bad night because we live an hour away and needed to go to a local store that way and taking 3 children anywhere especially after school is difficult. So the wife decided she wanted cracker barrel. I am usually not one to say yes lets take all the kids out to eat. I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants across the country. Let me say our waiter Lamar was the best waiter I have ever had. He was seriously impressive. From his service to his hospitality to how he handled having a table with 3 kids. He spoke to the kids in a funny yet caring way. He went out of his way when just walking past to say stuff to the my kids and they loved him. I will say as a business owner this man is an asset and is top notch. Very professional and excellent at his craft. He was the best waiter i have ever had and i will continue to eat there and request him if i am in the area. Cracker barrel needs to take notes on this man because he changed my view point on how a waiter and the hospitality industry should operate."

"When heading to CDA this is a must stop. The food is so awesome, it feels like visiting grandmas house. "Who doesn’t love the old country comfort of a Cracker Barrel? This location is very well run. We came in late, an hour before closing time and still had a lovely experience. "This was my first time to Cracker Barrel and I will not be back. The experience started with the hostess (Brenda) having no social skills and barely saying a word to us except that the wait will be 20 minutes after having reserved online and already waiting half an hour. She then escorted us to our table and chucked our menus on the table. Our waitress then came out and was helpful, she got our drinks which was coke... well not really coke the syrup had run out which I explained and was delivered another glass of brown coloured soda water which was supposed to be coke. The waitress then delivered biscuits to our table with no butter just milk, Am I supposed to churn it myself ?? Neither my wife or I got offered a refill of our drink even though they were both empty for the majority of the meal. 2 stars for the meal itself it was the only redeeming quality."

"After two missed visits, in two weeks, something dramatic wrong in Cracker Barrel has happened. Sunny side-up eggs are so easily prepared. You have to have the intention of confusing you. Sunny-Side Up with a side of Salmonella is what you risk. Send them back for a decent cooking, you get an egg yolk with a quarter of inches white as a medium, spatula, chopped with unnatural angles. Manager reports that she "so come" and p "perfectly acceptable". But he was only the junior manager, reports the actual manager who is "new". So ... you put an unrestricted, uncontrolled person who lacks that the golden rule of the customer understanding is in an authority in an authority? The manager actually said, "I do not know if you know all about cooking ..." I contacted corporate. I will update if you react."

"Thanksgiving for us was a little different this year. I used to be busy cooking. This year, my husband wanted to leave for the vacation. We really appreciated our waitress Tina.
