"Initially, my experience at this restaurant was quite pleasant. I would come in, order my sandwich and coffee, and enjoy some peaceful moments before leaving. The place has definitely improved under the new ownership—it's clean, the service is excellent, and the food is good. The prices are comparable to most bagel shops.
Unfortunately, it has now become a gathering spot for seniors who seem to linger for hours. I’ve noticed on multiple occasions that I'd grab my coffee and sandwich, and then two hours later, they'd still be sitting in the same spots, engaged in loud conversations and arguments over the blasting music. While I appreciate background music, this is more like a concert!
This has made it challenging to find a seat, as many patrons are simply occupying tables for extended periods. I really miss how things were in the beginning. Other bagel shops may be noisy, but the din doesn't come with yelling or heated discussions.
If you're just looking for bagels, I recommend getting them to go. But if you intend to stay and enjoy your meal among a crowd, just be prepared for the atmosphere I've described. It can be entertaining at times! Perhaps the owner could kindly remind customers to keep the volume down and be mindful of limited seating. That would greatly improve the experience."
