"I ordered a gourmet pizza, but there was nothing gourmet about it. For $11, I expected it to be heated thoroughly and evenly, but the mushrooms were cold right out of the fridge under the spinach and cheese. It was so salty that it was difficult to swallow. I would suggest the chef reconsider the balance of cheese, mushrooms, and spinach. Honestly, if they can't get such a basic item right, it makes me hesitant to try anything else on the menu. My friend ended up tossing her coffee after just one sip because it was burnt. Now I understand why the cashier asked her if she was sure she didn't want milk and sugar in her coffee."

The worst tasting bagel I ever had, cheap creamcheese too. Three mistakes with 1 bagel/creamcheese order.

Poor quality food, HORRENDOUS service and something as simple at avocado toast is too much for them. Super overpriced.

For a $5 cup of coffee (Large black), it was good. However, for a place that calls itself a coffee shop, they should offer wifi, otherwise enjoyed.

I don’t usually do this but 12$ for eggs and cheese on a baguette? As if they give you the full bread. Get off you’re high horse the cost to make that is less than half. View menu

I really can’t understand how this place is still in operation. I ordered a simple salad and mozzarella sticks, and it was awful. On top of that, it felt like a total rip-off.

The servers are so unprofessional and rude… food took forever to prepare and the food is over priced. I watched a woman come in and ask for something specific item because she was on an atkins diet. The server replied “is it working?”

This cafe is quite delightful, and I find their offerings to be delicious. They seem to have a lot on the menu, but I suppose that's common in New York where many places try to do it all. I visited with a friend and ordered the veggie burger salad with their dressing, which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place! View menu

Worked at this establishment for two years now and I can say for sure that the cafe provides a wonderful environment not only for their customers but for their employees. Plus, their food/drinks are wonderful too! They always accommodate anything on the menu for the customers’ preferences and are such thoughtful people throughout!

Bought a small coffee. 4 hours later I have a bad stomach ache. How do I know it’s from here? I cook and eat the same foods everyday. And also haven’t eaten or drank from another place since last Thursday. Process of elimination leads me to believe that the coffee I just bought gave it to me. PLEASE CLEAN YOUR COFFEE MAKERS THOROUGHLY. This is why I swear by the delis. Their coffee never messes me up. The one time I try some gourmet coffee and bam stomach ache. You’d think a hot coffee would be somewhat sterile. Service and atmosphere was great.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
