"Very poor tone deaf customer serviceOrdered a full house supreme pizza requesting no mushrooms.While im waiting I see employees crowd around my open box pizza noticing that they forgot to not include mushrooms. The lady running the register gets called over and she proceeds to remove the mushrooms from my pizza barehanded. No gloves no nothing. Closes the box and hands me the pizza stone face acting like she didn't just do that.Another time I called and ordered Honey Old Bay Wings. The lady who took the order over the phone spoke very poor english. I get there to pick up my order to discover that they got it wrong and made dry old bay wings. I told them the order was wrong and they basically said well its already cooked."

"I used to like this place better.It went down hill.Today I ordered a bowl of crab bisque. I mistakenly said bowl"instead of crock ,soI ended up paying 11.99 for it.Not worth it.The cost would have not bothered me so much had they bothered toput enough crabmeat in it.Had scarcely any crab meat.PeriodIt was mostly roux I found LESS than a half teaspoon of actual crab meat in the entire bowl.What a rip off.The waiter was nice , however.Eric's became penny wise and dollar foolish.No wonder regulars don't frequent there like they used to.I may think twice before deciding to patronize them again.."

"We are visting family here in Ocean NJ. We were delighted with our meals. My spinish lasagna was very good, the marinade sauce danced on my taste buds it was so delightful. The lasagna noodles were cooked to perfection, not too overcooked and not too undercook. It was just excellent. My husband's veal parmesan he's told me was beyond anything he had eaten in a long time. The mushrooms were tantalizing. The sauce was breathtakingly,wonderfully, delightfully good. Yes we would definitely go here again and I highly recommend it. The prices are right in line, the service was great, she was pleasant, she asked if we wanted more, offered us dessert. Couldn't ask for a better place to eat,it's casual dress very clean and quiet. Go check it out, I'm sure you'll agree with me."

"We were there 9/27/23 Service was amazing, everyone was attentive but not overbearing. The bread and Margherita sauce were delicious. I don’t usually eat bread but the sauce was so good you just want to sop it all up with bread. I could just eat this all day lol Grilled Octopus was tender yet grilled, not rubbery or tough Chicken Giambotta was good but I enjoyed my hubby’s Pork Chop Special (forgot what it was called and he liked mine better so we swapped lol. The pork chop was delicious, nice thick slice. We came here because they were working on opening in Hackensack and heard it would be their 3rd location. So a little google search and Caldwell was closest for us to scout. ;"

"My husband has been here before, but this was my first visit. He's from Philadelphia, and I'm from Pittsburgh, though we currently live in Fairbanks, Alaska. The experience was mixed; the cheesesteaks were delicious, but our second visit was disappointing. I ordered the antipasto salad, which was subpar—lots of iceberg lettuce, just one slice of tomato and cucumber, and no pepperoncini or artichokes. My husband got an Italian sub that came with mayo, which is unusual for that type of sandwich; he didn't ask for it, nor was it mentioned on the menu. Additionally, the prices have gone up since our last visit. The menu prices aren't what you'll actually pay—they have a notice in the shop, but it's unclear what the new prices are. It seems like there’s at least a dollar markup, so just be aware of that."

"Owner Dominique Hand renovated a beautiful room and manager Danieli just staffed kitchen with chef from Sicily, this is a family owned and operated Italian restaurant. During the summer Dominique brought fresh herbs and vegetables from his Brooklyn garden for the salads. The pasta is made in house. We enjoyed live guitar on Thursday evening. The bar is regularly crowded with regulars including actors, writers, journalists, musicians, FBI agents and foodies. A colorful, diverse Brooklyn crowd with great food in a comfortable room large enough for groups, private conversation, couples and children.Vegetarian options: Both Eggplant parm and eggplant tower excellent. "Cheesesteaks we?re good, however, my wife got a sour cake, it smelled horrible. We only realized after my wife took her first bite though? yuck. The cheese fries had a drizzle of cheese on them, which was disappointing. Delivery took 1 hour, but that can happen if they are busy or something. Im chalking it up to a bad night, and maybe we?ll try it again, but this experience has put off us for a bit. Hopefully this is seen and can be looked into."

"All the glowing reviews are absolutely true! The pizza here is excellent and super fresh, with generous slices from their house pies. They offer a wide variety of specialty pizzas available by the slice. I tried two slices—one plain and one with chicken vodka sauce—and both were packed with flavor. I also ordered a meatball parm sub to go, and after seeing it cut open, I couldn't resist devouring the whole thing right there, as the sauce was just too delicious. The food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. Plus, they offer delivery and have plenty of parking available in front."

"Stopped by on a Saturday for a late lunch early dinner to use up a $25 coupon from restaurant .com. Comfortable place located in Midtown East area. Overall, food was pretty good. We ordered a large whole wheat margarita pie, clams mussels special, and a lobster ravioli special. Whole wheat margarita pie was the highlight; loved their tomato sauce. Both the clam mussels special and the lobster ravioli special were both heavy on the sauce, so that kind of covered up the actual seafood flavor. Not bad dishes, but would have preferred to taste the seafood flavor instead of sauce. No big deal though. I also got a strawberry smoothie, which was pretty good. Fresh strawberries and it wasn't too sweet. Woohoo! "I've been a loyal patron of Martiniello's for quite some time and used to really love their pizza. Unfortunately, that’s not the case anymore. On my latest visit, I ordered two slices with extra pepperoni, but to my surprise, they added an excessive amount of cheese that I neither wanted nor asked for. It completely overwhelmed the flavor. I had to take off the pepperoni, remove all the cheese, and then put the pepperoni back on just to make it enjoyable. Please refrain from adding extra cheese unless a customer specifically requests it!"

"We decided to order a whole pizza, skipping the counter items, but I noticed many other customers ordering, and everything looked and smelled fantastic! Our pizza arrived in what felt like just five minutes. Initially, we planned to take it to go, but we ended up eating in, and I'm glad we did. We struck up conversations with a few other patrons, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. The vibe was very relaxed, and the food was delicious! If we ever return to New Jersey, we will definitely stop by again. The entire shop was clean and tidy, including the restrooms, which is a big plus for me. I rate this place a perfect 10/10!"

If you're a fan of Domino's, you might not enjoy this pizza, as it offers genuine flavor and real cheese that is rich and full of taste, along with proper seasoning. The dough is freshly made, not frozen like at Domino's and many other pizza places, and that freshness makes a significant difference. I was pleasantly surprised, reminiscent of the Rosati's in my Chicago neighborhood. Every item on the menu is equally impressive."
