"After a long day of shopping in the Pentagon City area with my two-month-old and 20 months, we decided to grab something quick at Matchbox. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits after receiving the recommendation from the server, and my son got the kids' cheese pizza. First, I have to say it was the worst Shrimp and Grits I have eaten. There was nothing there for the flavor profile. The shrimp was not seasoned, and the dish was watery and lacked cohesion. After still being hungry from the shrimp and grit, which may I add was a tiny portion, I decided to taste my son’s pizza, which lacked no taste. The crust was dry and tasteless, and the sauce and cheese had no harmony to make it even a tasty dish. I will say something that made the night worst was the fact that my son needed to be changed, and there was no changing table upstairs where we sat. I had the host who seated us, and he told me there was, and I had to go back to the elevator to go downstairs and finally find the family room, which was a massive inconvenience since my son’s pants were wet."
