"La Fuente is a terrific place to stop by for late night Mexican food if you get the munchies after dancing or having some other type of fun earlier in the evening. We walked in and were greeted by a worker who didn’t welcome us or say anything. He just walked to the register and waited for us to order. Not the friendliest by any means but maybe he was having a bad night. The place has plenty of seating, both inside and outside and it’s brightly lit. There is a salsa bar to meet any sauce requirements you may have. We ordered the carne asada quesadilla and the fish tacos and the cashier handed us a receipt with our number (without a thank you or any sort of acknowledgement). They have a machine that calls out the numbers for them as food becomes ready for pickup. We grabbed our selection of salsas and sat down. A short while later our number was called and we grabbed our food. The carne asada quesadilla comes with cheese and pico de gallo inside. I was surprised by the pico but it was tasty enough. That being said, I think it contributed to the tortilla getting soft too fast though so if I were to order again I might ask for it on the side. My partner had the fish tacos and said they were huge and tasty. All three salsas I tasted were delicious but I liked the red salsa the best over the green and the hot orange one. The orange was supposed to be the hottest but still wasn’t crazy hot like I’m used to.Overall the food is great late night fare and maybe the cashier was just not having his best night. Hopefully they will be friendlier next time. La Fuente also has a drive through available and a few parking spots on the side if you’re lucky enough to nab one."

"I 'm not sure what to make of this place. It 's in a little strip mall in a somewhat sketchy part of town. We went in and were immediately seated at a table, but we were the only ones in the restaurant at a table; everyone else was around the bar, which covers about 1/3 of the restaurant. We stayed around 2 hours, and for almost all that time, my date was the only female customer in the entire place. I thought that was odd. It was about 25 guys, and then her. Later one other woman came in with a husband. The men at the restaurant skewed much older than I had expected; quite a few gray-haired, balding guys wearing big gold chains. Not really my type of crowd; the others were somewhat younger guys wear baseball caps and the like. Perhaps it 's my imagination, and perhaps because she was the only female there, but it seemed as if a lot of men especially the older ones kept glancing at my date, which made things a bit uncomfortable. Based on the restaurant 's name, I was expecting something a bit more upscale, like maybe a gastropub, or something more classy. The food was actually ok, better than the ambiance would suggest, and was reasonably priced. The drink list was just ok, but not exceptional in either selection or price $4 for mid-level draft beer was the weekday special that night. Unfortunately, the menu they have posted online was not the same one in the restaurant. We had already chosen our meals beforehand based on the online menu, only to discover what was actually available differed e.g., no flank steak as the online menu suggests ; on the other hand, there were several Greek items e.g., gyro not listed online. The waitresses were nice and helpful, though we did wait a bit toward the end before being offered a check. Definitely not a place for a romantic meal or for a group of young people. Perhaps will be ok to watch a game when football season arrives, as they have a fair number of TVs around the place, like a typical sports bar."
