"I have never left a negative review and honestly hate that I have to because I always loved the ambiance of the pub...... I sat at the bar and ordered the filet from their premium steak section of the menu. I got a $70 steak that was 90% fat and bone. Bartender and/or waitress was nowhere to be found for over 20 minutes (it took me 20 minutes just to get a menu and another 15 mins for my drink). Bartender/waitress was extremely rude and unhelpful with any of the questions I had and when I wanted to ask about the quality of my plate she was nowhere to be found. Finally, after eating literally the only four bites of steak that were edible, I wanted to go to the bathroom and ended up finding my waitress/bartender hiding in the waiting section of the restaurant on her cell phone, texting. When I was finally able to address the quality of my serving I was addressed in a combative matter. I was extremely frustrated but tried keeping my cool so I asked for my check to find the bartender gone for another 10 minutes. I decided to go outside and smoke a cigarette while I waited for my check but found that I was followed by what I assume was security because they accused me of leaving without paying for my bill...how humiliating and unprofessional. I have never left a bad review for a restaurant or any place of business for that matter, because I understand the struggles of staffing and cost issues private businesses are dealing with nowadays. The straw that broke the camel 's back was that the aforementioned bartender/waitress was talking about me to other customers and then they automatically charged a 20% tip before I even saw the bill. Believe it or not I was planning on leaving at least a 20% tip anyway because that is just the way I was raised. I just think it 's ridiculous that management staff were so passive in my complaints and basically said screw you . I have always loved the pub but I am afraid it has gone way downhill and won 't be surprised when I hear that it has closed for good. I 'm completely disgusted and nothing was done to try to satisfy my visit. This place is not what it used to be. Stay away there are many other places in the nearby area that value their customers. Try The Saloon, Chubby 's, The Library... or even McDonald 's before you come to this dump! And I forgot to mention... the salad bar was awful and it seems like the food was sitting out there for hours and hours disgusting mushy lettuce and god awful looking potato salad and other relishes. Charlie Brown 's in Woodbury has a much better, fresh and vast salad bar."

"So. I went to this restaurant on a Wednesday at the recommendation of a local patron who also accompanied me and assured me from his past experiences that this was a fantastic food experience/establishment. To start of I will say the owner who greeted us was very nice and accommodating as well as most of the staff. However the food left something to be heavily desired. I started with the tomato caprese salad. The tomato was not yet ripe at all to be served also the amount of oil that was on this plate pretty much was drowning the mozzarella and tomato. I ordered the mushroom ravioli for my mains ,and this was where things completely ruined the whole dinner. The whole dish was sweet. I have had mushroom ravioli at other establishments ,and one thing I can conclude is that nothing about that dish should be that sweet. I mean form the sauce to the balsamic to the mushroom. The whole dish was sweet and not savory at all. It blew my mind that pasta could taste that sweet. I couldn 't stand to eat anymore then a few bites, and my companion who is a regular patron of this establishment had the rest of pasta ,and even he concluded this was the worst dish that he has had from here. I tired giving them one more chance with the dessert ,and had the best north of Miami key lime pie. The pie was actually fairly decent. The filling could have been more firm and the pie crust as well, however that can be overlooked understandably as I am presuming the desserts are not made on a daily basis. Here is where this bad dinner went to go on and become a horrible night and following day. Not even 5 minutes after leaving the restaurant I began sweating profusely ,and requested for the car to be pulled over. I immediately threw up for the next 5 minutes. I dropped of my friend back to his place and went on to my hour drive back home. As soon as I got back home I threw up once again in my driveway. That night my stomach and bowels were so messed up I managed only 3 hours of sleep. Will not be coming back ever."
