"I just ordered from Thiru Uber, and the food was excellent. It arrived hot, tasted just as I expected, and was very fresh. I've eaten here several times over the past decade, and to be honest, I didn't expect much from a delivery order. However, I was blown away by the presentation, taste, and quality. I ordered the grilled Vermicelli shell, and it was fantastic. I also got the Vietnamese egg rolls and finished four out of six almost immediately—they were super crispy with a moist and flavorful filling, just perfect! I was so impressed that I called them back to share my thoughts. This place has definitely become my new favorite!"

"We were visiting Tomball and Bloofin came up as one of a handful of dinner choices on Open Table. Being Asian Americans, and from California, we have pretty high standards for authentic Asian food, especially Japanese. I'll be honest, even with high reviews, I was skeptical being we were in a small Texas town. Needless to say, we were very happy with everything we ordered which included a Bloofin special sushi and sashimi combo, a yellowtail sashimi dish, and squid sansai. The seafood fried rice was really good and the sashimi was quite fresh and tasty, too! Interestingly, they had a unique and authentic dish I have never seen in Japanese American restaurants, before. Service was great and we were well taken care of by our server Jose! The owner even stopped by to check on us and we briefly spoke, on the way out. The space is decorated in mostly a contemporary flair with a touch of a few asian design cues in a very open space. Overall, a very pleasant and satisfying dining experience! We will definitely come back when visiting Tomball, again!"

"I have traveled the world eating sushi (all over United States, Central/South America, Europe, South Pacific, and of course even Japan). Sushi Hana is my favorite sushi outside of Japan, this is more to do with nostalgia and not the taste or quality as sushi Hana excels in taste and quality. It’s always a pleasant experience as the staff are excellent, and a special shout out to Alan who is always a pleasure. Highly recommend, and make sure to try the baby octopus sushi it’s amazing with a bit of wasabi, soy sauce, and wrapped in a shiso leave (the green leaf in the picture enjoy!"

"I had another great experience at this restaurant. Both the service and the food were excellent. I had two items of the role selections. Both of the two selections were perfect and taste great. I was seated immediately when I came in the door. The service was very informative about the different roles, and I was told about many great selections. I have been here numerous times; I will continue to eat here for the great tasting food and the excellent service. I highly recommend this excellent sushi restaurant"

"Order Uber eats, payed 64 for this. I was disappointed with the size of the hand rolls who cost about 7 each. This is ridiculous pricy for the size. My whole order was noting that I expected. Price are super high for the amount they provide"

"I recently dined at a sushi restaurant that truly impressed me with its amazing sushi and sashimi selections. The highlight for me was the quality of the ingredients; it was evident that they only used the freshest fish and toppings. The sushi was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, featuring generous pieces of fish that made each bite an exquisite experience. If you're a sushi enthusiast like I am, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant—you won't be disappointed!"

"The staff was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor. Since it was our first visit, they recommended several dishes, and we ended up enjoying every single one of them. We ordered a variety of tapas, including Mango Lemonade, Passion Fruit Lemonade, Happy Ending Roll (a salmon tempura roll topped with seared tuna, garlic ponzu, and eel sauce), Salmon Teriyaki, Yakitori Chicken with onion, Meatball Miso Cod, and more Yakitori Chicken with onion, Kabocha squash, and beef tongue. This place is fantastic and is by far our favorite Japanese restaurant. The Yakitori was amazing, which is quite rare to find around here. We all tried cow tongue for the first time, and surprisingly, it became our favorite dish! It was so flavorful and delicious—just melted in our mouths. I can't wait to come back and try even more dishes! Follow me on Instagram: @ammysalamii."

"Horrible experience. Ordered around 9pm on uber eats for my wife who just gave birth. The restaurant had it preparing for over an hour. I called and nicely asked if they were still preparing the order they said they 'd been done for a while and were waiting for a driver. I told her that they have to switch from Preparing to ready so that an Uber driver can be connected with them and after much back and forth, the lady on the phone did not want to understand this/did not want to do it. After waiting over an hour and 15, we had to cancel the order because there would not have been any other way of getting the food. From this experience, I would never step foot/order from this place again."

"There was 2 of us and the only ones in the restaurant . The hostess was very rude . Waited ten minutes for her aknowledge us. Didn’t even say hello just said “ no sushi and only 1 check “ . We should’ve turned away there. She’s the hostess ,bartender , server , everything. We sat down and she again said “ one check only “ about 2 -3 more times. They don’t usegarlic butter. They used 1 egg for all of our fried rice but he burnt half and threw it out so it was really only half a egg .The filet was PERFECT , soo good . The food in general was good but could’ve been better with garlic butter. The drinks weredelicious and thankfully you could taste the liquor because she said they only came with 1 shot . So fast forward . We get ourbill and they Automatically charged 20% gratuity . I asked about it because typically it’s only automatically applied tolarger groups. She said everyone has to pay 20% even if it’s a party of 1 . The tip was almost the price of my plate. Thenafter I sign there was still a place to leave a tip ! We were going to tip her regardless but not 20% because the service justwas terrible . She disappeared after taking our order and didn’t return until we had to search for her. Not only that but whatirritated me the most was the fact that she told us “one check “ 4 X but didn’t mention the gratuity charge once . Shesaid there was a sign at the entrance. On the way out I looked for the sign and it was a piece of paper that was all torn up onthe desk , I should’ve took a picture . . . $204 for 2 plates 3 drinks , terrible service but good food. Will not return ."

"Came here with my friends for lunch, and we had a good time. Pretty tasty baked porkchop with tomato sauce (on the more sweeter side). Great portions, perfect for family style with friends to try a bit of everything. The sizzling steak platter was delicious and comes with broccoli and fries. The bread with condensed milk was a bit sad, though ? just toasted burger buns with drizzled condensed milk.Great HK breakfast at a very good price.Parking: Free street residential or paid metered parking on the main road."

She's so nice and the team she's with are amazing. Our service is always good, they clean both the tables AND the chairs. Covid doesn't skip furniture. The sushi is frakkin fantastic-just look at my nigiri!!! They aren't messing around with the portion size for the price. My standard order is Hamachi kama, 1 speci roll and mixed tempura. But tonight we did nigiri and it was freaking BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS.I REGRET NOTHING ABOUT MY CARB LOADING Tonight. LONG LOVE JOY SUSHI!!! ?? ? ? ???????"

"We decided to try out this restaurant for lunch and the food was amazing. Despite being located in a strip mall, don't be fooled by its appearance. The restaurant offers a variety of great box lunch options with plenty of choices on the menu. They were willing to accommodate some modifications to our order as well. The sushi rolls we ordered were delicious and generously sized. This restaurant would be perfect for tourists looking for a tasty meal or for business luncheons. We will definitely be returning in the future."

"All You Can Eat sushi is back. $45 (dinner) not sure if there is a price difference for lunch and didn't really find it advertised anywhere either, other than someone mentioning it in a review. Sushi has gotten quite expensive. Special rolls are around $17+ at various sushi restaurants. I can easily eat 2 rolls and some. We used to go to Kenzo quite a bit but their quality has gone downhill. So once I heard AYCE was back my wife and I made a visit. We came for dinner on a Friday. It wasn't busy, there was about 4 groups dining. They are a bit understaffed imo, I think I saw two chefs and 1 host/server. When we got sat down the owner (i think he's the owner or restaurant manager) he gave us a complimentary roll 49'ers roll. It was nice of them to give us a free roll even though we were doing AYCE. I expected service to be slow based on other reviews. So we did a big order on our first round. We ordered 5 rolls and a hand roll. We only ordered once cause we were stuffed. So we ended up with 6 rolls a handroll. We ate most of it and probably had about 1.5 rolls worth of left overs combined. The owner let us take it home which was nice and we got some milk tea mochi when we received the bill. the quality of the rolls are still as good as before. Would definitely come back again. Just expect service be a bit slower than normal."

"I ordered takeout from this restaurant last night and just realized I hadn't shared my experience until now. I was attracted to this place because of its glowing reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. I tried the crab house roll and the tango roll, and they were both absolutely delicious! The crab house roll was topped with roasted crab and came with an amazing sauce, plus it included cream cheese and white fish—it tasted incredibly fresh! The tango roll was equally impressive, featuring avocado, shrimp, real crab meat, and fresh cucumber, all deep-fried and drizzled with a rich, gooey sauce. It was truly a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend giving this place a try; it's simply outstanding!"

"This is hands down my favorite sushi place near the Vancouver area. The pieces are usually really big too, and quality meat. I love the hawaain and spicy tuna hand rolls the best. It is more expensive than like sushi world etc, but way better sushi! They also have really good asian hit dishes too, both Chinese and Japanese, which seems strange to me to have a restaurant do well at both, but they pull it off!"

"Made reservation for my sister's birthday, but the restaurant has a policy that all parties need to be present to seat for Hibachi. This was difficult for a party of 6 and a baby coming from different states. Was not allowed to seat other than the dining area and would not be able to move to hibachi later. We wanted to order appetizers and had no choice, but to take a table. We were seated with menu stacked in the middle of the table. This was disappointing since it wasn't busy and there were plenty of space at the hibachi. There should be a note on Open Table to inform customers regarding this policy. They also auto charge 20% in gratuity for parties of 6 or more. This was $53 and service was only ok. I wanted a drink, but the server never asked. We had to wrap our own leftovers. This is not to mention when the table filled up, we would help stack plates and hand to the server. The food was good. We ordered 9 appetizers including their signature rock shrimp. The Kobe beef Carpaccio was $20 for 4 thin sheets. Ordered Seabass and the basil prawns with tenderloin. The Seabass was excellent, but the prawns were hard and small sitting in edible bowl next to pieces of the tenderloin. The 7 sushi rolls were also good. These dinner plates should have included miso soup that showed up on the receipt, but we didn't receive. We were also charge for white rice that also came with the dish. The server was busy and refunded us five dollars in cash, which doesn't cover taxes and the 20% that was charged in addition. I personally would've given 15% to 18% for gratuity for the type of service I received. Manager watched and really didn't stop by and ask how things were. We should have had a better experience celebrating a birthday, and for $342 it wasn't great."
