"Norma provided us with outstanding service on October 4, 2023 at Hank's restaurant. We were honoring my late father who enjoyed dining at this establishment, particularly enjoying the jumbo shrimp, salad bar, and Bud Light. Though we miss him dearly, we will continue to visit Hank's in his memory. I opted for the broiled salmon with a side of whipped mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, paired with their house sparkling wine that features a fresh orange wedge on the rim, adding a citrusy elegance to the drink. My brother and I always order the mozzarella sticks with marinara or ranch sauce when we visit. It is unfortunate to hear that the charming Curious Goods store, known for its Halloween costumes, will be closing at the end of the month. For a delightful dining experience with excellent service, make sure to visit Hank's. Additionally, our server recommended their Sunday bottomless brunch as a must-try option."

"I absolutely adore Island Lake Café! Not only do they serve the best food, but they also have the most impressive collection of Betty Boop memorabilia I've ever encountered. My best friend is a huge Betty Boop fan, and every time we visit, she always finds something new to add to her collection, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I've never had a bad meal there, and the service is consistently top-notch. The staff is always friendly and greets us with warm smiles, making us feel truly welcome. I can't recommend this charming little restaurant enough!"

"I've eaten there many times and have loved making pizzas too. The quality is always outstanding. The staff is friendly and genuinely works hard to meet your needs. Occasionally, the service can be a bit slow—especially during holiday weekends or busy Saturday nights—but the food always comes out hot and fresh. One of the unexpected delights is the popcorn at the bar; it's among the best I've ever tasted. Perhaps it tastes even better because I'm far from home and can really relax, but I think it’s more than that. Definitely give it a try; their thin crust pizza is fantastic!"

"Lively ambience inside the dining halls that have large windows letting natural light in. Tables by the large windows have an up close view of the gushing river that may have powered the mill long time ago.You're welcomed with fresh, hot cinnamon bread. Salad bar was included with our lamb chops and stuffed sole entrees. (It has been ages since we enjoyed a self-serve salad bar)! Portions were huge, food was delicious; went well with house beer. There's outdoor seating available, but most people seemed to opt for indoor seating. So glad we decided to drive there on our visit to the Providence area despite being told there's a 45-60 minute wait. A big thanks to the friendly and attentive staff!"

"This was our first visit to,La Locanda. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. However my wife was seated beneath an air conditioning unit that sprayed her with condensation. The unit was wiped with a cloth but still dropped evaporation. It finally stopped but she had to get anew place setting plus some water spilled into her drink. We managed to complete our dinner, however it would have been much more enjoyable if they had just moved us to the nest table which remained unoccupied the entire time. We will go back because the meal was outstanding. However I would insist on being moved to another table should this occur again. There was no reason not to have moved us but it was not done. A poor choice on management’s part"

"Very good draft beer selection. Extremely limited menu, but the food was surprisingly good. Service was alright, but not great. Keep in mind, this is a bar that happens to serve food, so expect a loud bar-type atmosphere. Prices were high...so it is very low on the value scale. If you are price conscious, there are better, lower priced options within a few blocks, but if you are staying at the hotel, the convenience makes this a worthwhile visit for a quick bite or drink."

"My girlfriend and I came here on Labor Day at 8:15 and they were closing at 9pm. We had an amazing experience with some live music. (I wish I knew his name) We started with the steak and cheese spring rolls that were on point! My girlfriend got the French onion soup that was one of the best we've ever had. We split the buffalo mac n cheese and BBQ chicken Flatbread. The mac was out of this world so creamy, so cheesy, and the portion was humongous! I was unable to taste the Flatbread due to no more room in my stomach for it. There's always next time. The crew were complete all-stars from start to finish. Never once tried rushing us through our meals and made sure we had everything we needed. Rodney specifically, is an amazing bartander, if you're lucky enough you'll have him. Oh, he also ran to the parking lot and brought me my (favorite) hat to me that I left on the bar hook under the bar. Go to The Homestead of you're looking for a good night out and amazing food! -Enjoy/Be safe"

"A Necessary Stop!. I only go to Rhode Island two times a year, and a visit to Gregg's is always on the list. I always go for their dinner special on Monday's or Tuesday's, where you get served a basket of hot dinner rolls, a choice of an entree (Chicken Parmesan, Meatloaf, or a Fish option), your choice of a salad or soup, a dessert, and a beverage--beer or wine. Not only do you get all that at one low price, but, they have generous portions too. The food is finger licking good, and their cakes and desserts are one's you won't want to miss. If dining in, try their Hot Apple Crisp a la Mode, or if you're a chocolate fan like myself, try their Death by Chocolate. It's a killer!I always feel like I'm coming home when I eat at Gregg's. The dining room is cozy, and the booths are comfy. Gregg's is a Rhode Island staple, do visit it on your next trip!"

"Two weeks ago, my husband and I ordered dinner from this restaurant. I always enjoy their JoJo salad, but this time it was just lettuce and croutons. The pizza crust was undercooked, and after struggling through a slice each, we ended up throwing the rest away. We had such a great experience when we had them cater our wedding a year and a half ago, for which we spent $500 and received glowing feedback from our guests. We were really disappointed with this recent order, and unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be ordering from this location again."

"I really appreciate the owners; they are extremely friendly and accommodating. One evening, we called after closing time and were pleasantly surprised when someone answered. It turned out they were hosting a private party, but they still agreed to take our order, which made us very happy. I absolutely love the Greek fries — they’re drizzled with olive oil, lemon, and just the right amount of feta. I've been here several times for lunch, and I always leave satisfied. It’s a great spot to meet up with friends for happy hour!"

As a group of over 12 people celebrating a birthday, she made our experience truly memorable. However, our positive experience was soured by the rude behavior of the server who assisted us later on, Kyle. Despite already having paid our bill and given a generous tip, we were asked to provide a credit card just to order a pretzel, he said he didn’t think we were going to pay. This made us feel unwelcome and undervalued as customers who had spent hours there. Unfortunately, we will not be returning due to this negative experience."

"I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant last week. First time, I found it busy and didn't want to wait, but 2nd time I did understand the reason for being that busy. First, it is a very nice place, located right in front of Marriott Marquis Hotel, and half a block from Time Square which makes this restaurant a great choice. The inside is beautiful. It is very clean, organized, and calm. The staff is very nice, efficient, and diligent. The menu has a great variety of food, with plenty of choices for anyone regardless age, culture, and diet habits. I had a baked onion soup to start, a then a garden salad with choice of Salmon. My Daughter has a cheese burger, and my friends macaroni and cheese, and another burger. We got very surprised about priced, really affordable for anyone. I went to the bakery and saw all the good options they have, even I didn't order any. I highly recommend this restaurant when you visit Time Square."
