Savory baked onion soup topped with melted cheese and crusty bread, simmered to perfection for a comforting, hearty dish.

"two meals were good you got French dip the meat was so crispy as when eating carrot chips chief wanted to see that waitress just after her return with another dish meat came back never said what chief said, just put another plate of very well made meat down could not eat either. never apologise only our tellers taken away never offered to get anything else they did! She was very polite, but could have been something more sensitive to the problem we did not look for a free meal but would have offered a kind of excuse or gave him a dessert of my grand. very disappointed by the resturant were often one last before we come back"

"I love coming to The Black Lab Bistro. The food is always amazing. They have thee best spicy pork dumplings. We have brought many friends here and every time they all rave about the food. Service is always so friendly and the owner is the sweetest lady you will meet. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"The baked scrod was very good, with a generous portion served alongside two sides—steamed broccoli and fries. One diner cleaned her plate and expressed her satisfaction. The chicken piccata also received positive feedback. Another diner ordered it with linguine and garlic bread, and it was generously topped with capers. I opted for the chicken parmigiana with linguine and started with a cup of chicken soup, which was quite nice. However, the chicken parmigiana was disappointing. Instead of the linguine I ordered, I received penne, but by that point, I didn't feel like sending it back. The chicken was dry, the breading was largely burnt and fell off, and the sauce was lacking flavor, rendering the dish nearly inedible. Since we were celebrating my sister's birthday, I chose to hold back my complaints, but honestly, it was not a great meal. I wish the restaurant all the best, but we won’t be returning."

"I had a soup and salad which was $16 and a tonic water. My bill was $25. How can this be? I had 3 refills of the tonic as the glass was mainly ice, I suspect that I was charged for each refill. If this is the case, please let your customers know this practice. Tonic is on tap like any other soft drink so why would you do this?"

"Came to Jimmy’s before a concert this past weekend. I got the black diamond steak tips, medium rare. They were over cooked. The broccoli was not really seasoned and under cooked. My friend got the pastrami sandwich, and it was so dry you could barely even eat it. They melted the cheese on the pastrami, for too long and it turned rock hard like a hockey puck We hope to come back to try this place again sometime."

"I expected more for the price. We both ordered 10oz filet. It was good but not great. In all fairness, there were a few large parties when we dined so it was loud and service was slow. Again, it was not bad but the prices are very high for what we experienced."

"We met with friends and It has a lot of menu choices for everyone and prices are the average prices depending on what you order. The service was good but the only thing I would say is bring a jacket or a sweater because our friends sat across from us and the vents were above them so they were freezing while my husband and I were okay. The booths are nice and big and very comfortable which I liked for the extra room and they have hooks to hang your jacket."

"I recently stayed at the downtown Marriott in Syracuse for a work trip and had the pleasure of visiting Shaughnessy Irish Pub, conveniently located on the ground floor of the hotel. I explored some other local restaurants but found myself returning to Shaughnessy time and again. The food was fantastic, with standout dishes like the red, white, and blue salad and the chicken Caesar sandwich. The fresh, hand-breaded chicken tenders were also a treat. My coworker particularly enjoyed the Reuben sandwich. Behind the bar, Nicole crafted some amazing drinks, while Tabitha, Mike, and Lindsey provided exceptional service. I highly recommend this pub to anyone in search of a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere!"

"Absolutely fantastic! Best German cuisine I have ever had. Arrived around 7pm on a Wednesday with a group of colleagues. Reservations strongly recommended. We started off with a few appetizers. The Reuben rolls - excellent. Meat & Cheese Board - okay, I could take or leave it. And the German Pretzel, which as okay. The complimentary bread with the pretzel coating was very good and flavorful. The beer selection was a little more Milwaukee centric which is certainly okay. I had a Schlitz beer for the first time, and the last. I quickly finished so I could switch to something better - Spaten Lager. Much better and easier to drink. For my entree, I had the Pork Shank, advertised as the most famous dish on the menu. Absolutely did not disappoint. Best I have ever had. Comes w/choice of sauerkraut and/or boiled red cabbage. I had both. Depending on personal preference and what you may be in the mood for. As for the actual pork, it was fall off the bone tender and unbelievably full of flavor. Very large portion which I could not finish. I highly recommend Maders as the best German restaurant in WI. It truly is a winner!"

"Sad to see this location closing after such a long run. Last day open will be Aug 31st. So get there now to say good bye. Owers forced to close due to minimum wage, worker scheduling, tip pooling legislation. The other locations will still be open but a bit far away and alot more traffic to get thur from NE Portland"

"Our family decided to order your Thanksgiving dinner package this year. We were fortunate and according to the hostess who took our information, we got the last one. For our family of 4, it was a perfect amount of food! The dinner was absolutely fantastic. Easy heating instructions, tender turkey and the butternut squash was amongst the best I’ve ever had. We’ve got plenty for leftovers tonight but not so much we will be eating nothing but turkey for a week. Thank you very much for making our Thanksgiving relaxing and delicious! The Harnois family"

"You will get a good meal and consistent service at Turtle jacks. The restaurant is divided into a sit down area and a bar. If you aren't hungry, sitting in the bar having a few drinks - it's comfortable with high tables and high chairs, circular booths or a long bar to watch the game. They have a nice patio also in the summer. The burgers, meatloaf, pasta..lots of selections. Good food at a decent price. Lots' of drinks to also choose from. Cons: Chicken wings are a bit small and pricey."

"Our waiter, Santos was excellent but as hard as he tried to make the ambiance pleasant he could not. Right next to us was a group of six or seven fairly young blue collar girls who thought they were at a bar. My wife and I had trouble trying to hold a conversation at our table. Their vocabulary was very limited. Every other word was profanity. We could not be moved to another table because the restaurant was at capacity."
