"We'd been meaning to try Jill's for a long time. We finally went there on a date last night. The short story is that the food was quite tasty but the service was not great. We were seated quickly for our reservation, and we ordered drinks andappetizers. 20 minutes later, our server came by and took our food order, before we'd received anything. The drinks came after ahalf hour, and it ended up being an hour before a single food item arrived. The rest of the night went the same way. Our serverseemed very out of it, not really unfriendly but just super spaced out and not attentive. She would walk right by our tableafter we'd been waiting a long time for anything to show up, and not even look in our direction. In total we ordered drinks andappetizers (at the same time), a main course, and dessert, and it took two and a half hours. There was also a bit of weirdnessabout the drinks, where they didn't have the ingredients for my wife's drink so they just made her what I had ordered, which wastotally different. She didn't send it back or anything, but it wasn't what she had wanted and it was strange that they didn'teven check. All that said, we did think the food was quite good and still enjoyed that and the ambiance."
