"Terrible experience! Beware they charge for water and don't tell you! Also charged me for a fountain drink and milkshake but I only ordered a milkshake! The kids meals are only $1 cheaper but if you order a milk shake it's almost the same price as the regular meal with a milkshake! The burger for the kids meal is half the size of the bun! The kids said it was nasty and yea with that little meat I believe them! The food wasn't that good either, most of the food was either burnt or cold! The men's bathroom was so disgusting that a 7 year old refused to use it. I had to walk him to Arby's to use the bathroom there."

"One of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had at a cookout. Waited in line for over a hour with only 6 cars there was 2 lines and they kept taking the first lines order on top of that when I did finally get someone to actually take my order theywere out of everything. Change the menu if you can't get anything in.... this was absolutely ridiculous experience and I hopethe owners are ashamed that this is their customer experience."

"I used to really enjoy the food at Cook Out in Elizabethton, TN, but I've noticed a significant decline in quality over the past year. The meat has often been overcooked, and there have been instances where items were missing from our orders. Today was particularly frustrating; my husband and I had to reorder three malts because our order was messed up twice! When we finally received the correct order, we found that our hamburgers were overcooked and charred, and the fries were soggy and dry. While Cook Out still makes great shakes, we were extremely disappointed with today's service and the overall quality of the meal. This may very well be the last time we dine there."

"Cook out! One of my favorite fast food chains. The food is fast, but the quality is top notch, which is positively unusual for fast food. I love the tray and Jr tray options, and have made a tray with a shake my usual order. The cheeseburger quesadilla is an absolute hero of food value, and the white cheddar cheese bites are one of my biggest cravings. The best part is how late they're open. There aren't many places to get hot food at midnight, but Cook Out is there for me. Well, technically, I'm there for Cook Out, but is there really an important difference?"
