"Haskell's seems to focus more on drinks (particularly wine) than on food, and while the food menu is generic, it’s adequate for a bar that serves food—let’s not forget, this isn't a James Beard award-winning restaurant. It’s somewhat amusing to note that the outdoor seating is positioned right alongside the sidewalk, which makes it feel like diners are on display, almost reminiscent of a medieval street scene.
However, Haskell's is unique in Excelsior for its low-key vibe, reminiscent of a small Minnesota resort town. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5, primarily due to some inconsistent service and the overall atmosphere (be prepared for some cigarette smoke if you choose to sit outside)."
