"Right from the start, the extensive menu should have raised a red flag. They offer Chinese, Thai, and a variety of traditional Japanese dishes, all alongside a full sushi menu. That's quite a lot to cover! I opted to sample a bit from each cuisine. Here’s a breakdown of what we received: 1. **Shrimp Tempura**: The shrimp was over-fried and greasy, while the accompanying zucchini was rock hard—almost like a hockey puck. I could tap it on the table and hear it bounce. 2. **Teriyaki Chicken Baked Rice**: This dish had no trace of teriyaki flavor. Teriyaki is typically sweet, but this tasted completely bland, with only a hint of garlic sauce. The chicken was dry and unappetizing—very disappointing. 3. **Tom Kha Soup**: Right away, I was concerned by its stark white color. It seemed to be nothing but coconut milk, overwhelmed by the spice from the little red Thai peppers. I’d rate the spice level a 9/10—completely inedible. 4. **Potstickers**: These were primarily sticky dough with very little filling. 5. **Szechuan Wontons**: These were drenched in Szechuan peppercorns, to the point where one bite left my mouth feeling numb. They were also incredibly dry, which was quite off-putting. 6. **Salmon Nigiri**: We ordered a couple of pieces for my daughter, but they looked nearly gray. After the experience with the other dishes, I chose not to take the risk of trying it. After receiving our order, we called the restaurant to express our concerns. The person who answered mentioned that the manager wasn't available and claimed that it was all a matter of taste, adding that he had never received any complaints about these dishes. I’m sharing some photos of what we received, and I can confidently say that we will not be returning to Little Wok again."

"You can eat inside here right now. The restrictions have not yet been implemented here in South San Francisco. There's typically seating here available, occasionally you may have to wait for 7 to 10 minutes. The spacing for the seating is accurate and to code. There are restrooms available and a parking lot. It is handicap accessible. The food here is maybe a 3.5 out of 5 for dim sum. However I should point out I have a very refined palate. It would most likely be a 4.5 out of 5 for most. The pricing is very affordable here and the staff is very friendly. Occasionally it might be hard to get a refill of tea but it's understandable seeing the volume of orders they have to make. In a day the chef told me they make over 4,000 orders. This is a very popular takeout and delivery location as well as dining in. I typically like to eat their deep fried noodles or an organ dish, but for the less brazen customers I recommend just ordering dumplings."

"Probably the best Chinese food in town. And I only say probably because I haven 't been to all the Chinese restaurants in Ann Arbor. Out of all the places I 've tried, this is our new family favorite. The sweet sour tofu was incredibly crispy but super soft inside, the sesame tofu was also still soft on the inside but chewy on the outside (other places sometimes cook it too much, so it gets too dry). The vegetables in the lo mein and veggie spring rolls were super fresh and still crunchy, so good! We saw them make the vegetable spring rolls from scratch and they tasted awesome. We want to order more mixed vegetable dishes next time because the veggies are so fresh and perfectly cooked here. The food was very flavorful, the portions generous, the owners are very friendly and sweet. We wish we had discovered this place sooner and feel so lucky we finally did. We plan to be back."

"we have the tasting for dinner that is a 5-course menu with wine or whisky. we had done this before and it was really funny. not so much this time. it started well, but between the curses 3 and 4 there was suddenly a 45-minute waiting time. all said we were there 2.5 hours. when the check was delivered, it was a shocker to see that an additional 30,875% tax was added to our bill. the 20% obligatory tip was added first, then that plus our meal times were taxed 7,875% (yes, the tip was taxed), then an additional 3% tax on only the meal for their hungry family program. we ate in continue bragg the next night and there were no additional fees. How was that eating? the oysters loved the duck was dry, but the rest was good, so they decide. we will not be back when the tip is obligatory, the service seems to suffer and tax a mandatory tipp?"

"We are extremely disappointed! China House used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant, but since the new management took over, the food has dramatically declined in quality. It's incredibly salty, and the meat was nearly inedible. To make matters worse, their prices have skyrocketed. We ended up paying $44 for three meals, and we couldn't finish any of them. I truly hope they pay attention to the feedback. We'll genuinely miss the old restaurant and its previous owners."

"I made a reservation for my family to dine at MingHin this past Sunday and I was incredibly pleased with the service we received. My younger brother had recently developed a peanut allergy and I made sure to include that info in my reservation details. When we arrived the waiter brought up the allergy issue before i had a chance to mention it. Our waiter took the time to discuss the menu with my mother and offered alternative dishes that were safe for my brother to eat (peanut- free). She was patient with us and very attentive. We had an enjoyable experience. The service we received was exceptional, the food was delicious and there were no allergic reactions. I will gladly patronize their establishment again."

"Atmosphere: N/A (I’ve only ordered takeout.) On my first order, I had the moo shu veggie, but unfortunately, the cabbage didn’t taste fresh. When I called to let them know, they were very accommodating and told me not to worry and to come back. Months later, I returned, and they remembered me. This time, the meal was much improved and not overly greasy. The food was tasty and fresh, though it could have been a bit more flavorful. However, I believe consistency and good service are what make a business successful."

"We stopped by this restaurant for dinner because it was convenient, and we were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the basics - chicken and pork teriyaki, and my wife had chicken yakisoba. Although we initially thought the prices might be a bit high, we were pleasantly surprised when we received generous portions and had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. This made it a good value for us. Additionally, both dishes were better than what we have had at other restaurants. The service was quick, the staff was friendly, and there was a steady stream of takeout orders being picked up, indicating that the restaurant is popular among locals. The dining room was almost at full capacity, confirming that there is something special about this place. We would definitely recommend it!"

"A great place to experience mobile cart dimsum however the food was mediocre at best. The chicken feet was overcooked and was missing a savoury taste typically seen in other dimsum places. The spare ribs were really good and definitely the highlight. The char siu was the most disappointing part of the experience. We had it with the rice roll and in the bun. Although the rice roll was good, the char siu tasted like fake meat. The bun tasted raw and lacked filling."

"Food is crowd pleasing, but not memorable to me as a Chinese person. Environment is great. Atmosphere is ok, you can hear loud noise of stacks of dishes bumping into each other if sitting at an unfortunate booth. They have super big tables for families and parties. Serving speed depends on luck really, I’ve got good ones and bad ones even when there weren’t lots of people. But main reason I don’t give such a nice looking restaurant 5-star is because food isn’t good enough for me as a foodie. I would go somewhere cheaper to satisfy my craving."

"My 6-year-old absolutely loved the beef and broccoli we ordered for her, but she ended up swapping it for my General Tso's chicken! I wasn't even upset because I enjoyed her dish so much. My husband tried the seafood combination plate, which was also a delicious choice. I have to mention that I'm quite picky about my General Tso's chicken, and this place nailed it with the perfect balance of crispy (not soggy) and flavorful. We also added a side of shrimp fried rice because you can never go wrong with that. I can’t wait to return! The only downside was the $2.50 charge for a can of soda, but the amazing food easily made up for it – no contest!"

"WOWOWOW!! I have been here before but never ordered the orange chicken and I REGRET THAT! Try the orange chicken if you’re a fan, they can make it extra spicy and the lunch/dinner special is a great filling meal! The owner is super nice and ensuring everyone is enjoying their food! A chill spot and parking is accesible, definitely my new go to!"

"We arrived in town late, just after midnight, and were eager for a meal. Luckily, Seven Treasures was conveniently located right across the street. Despite the small size and crowded atmosphere, the service was excellent (the kind of attentive service you often find in elder Asian establishments). The food was full of flavor and arrived quickly. We ordered the dinner for six, which provided more than enough food—probably enough for ten people. We had plenty of leftovers. Overall, this place is definitely better than the overrated Minh's."
