"Food is crowd pleasing, but not memorable to me as a Chinese person. Environment is great. Atmosphere is ok, you can hear loud noise of stacks of dishes bumping into each other if sitting at an unfortunate booth. They have super big tables for families and parties. Serving speed depends on luck really, I’ve got good ones and bad ones even when there weren’t lots of people. But main reason I don’t give such a nice looking restaurant 5-star is because food isn’t good enough for me as a foodie. I would go somewhere cheaper to satisfy my craving."

Very nice service and patient waiters! The beef tail stew was so tender and fully cooked! The fried rice was good too! Chinese 马蹄糕 was great!

Always excellent food! Had roast pork belly, clams w black bean, choy sum in garlic and salted fish and chicken fried rice. All were yummy, but my favorite is, as always, the pork belly. Delicious!

We were really impressed with the quality of the food and service! Shu mai was best I’ve ever had. This place just became my favorite Chinese restaurant in the city. We will definitely be back for more! View menu

I had the shrimp with lobster sauce. I liked it a lot. Service was OK. My family didn't seem to like the dishes they had and concluded the China Town location is much better. This location had just opened back up since everything

we have been running by minghin since they were opened in the south loop. that's the first time we ate in the dining room. it's a beautiful room. many rooms and beautiful decor. super clean. our meal even seemed tastier as if we did this. fresh and crispy. the service was great. I just took one star because nobody was asking about our vaccination card. View menu

I can't stop thinking about the pork fried rice at this restaurant! Everything was finely chopped and well balanced, making it incredibly delicious. However, the roast duck dim sum was disappointing as it was not crispy and mostly consisted of bones. Additionally, there are two dining rooms at the restaurant; we were seated in the small and plain one, even though the nicer room was not busy at the time.

We eat dim sum. Alot. We've always stuck to Chicago's Chinatown in the past but we recently had the chance to try the Minghin on Michigan Avenue and, man, this place did NOT disappoint! Maybe it's because they don't have the crowds that the Minghin in Chinatown has so the food comes out hotter and fresher, or maybe it's the chefs but everything we had was so dang delicious. Even our fried rice dish was the best tasting fried rice we've ever had. Service was excellent and the prices reasonable. We are so excited to have found this place!

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
