"We absolutely adore this restaurant! We've visited three times now, but this was our first experience at the new location, and the atmosphere is wonderful! I ordered the shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta and a lemon drop martini, and both dishes were delicious. As always, the service was outstanding! Everyone enjoyed their meal, and they made my birthday dinner extra special by treating us to a complimentary dessert and singing to celebrate!"

"Go for the great moles and leave the rest. The masa meat appetizer was so good! Shrimp cocktail was great and flavorful. The rest of the menu was a tad underwhelming. Margaritas are made from a premade mix (passion fruit regular), would definitely skip the cocktails next time. No gluten free options, chips and other fried foods are made in same fryer as the rest. Cross contamination highly likely"

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"

"I was taking my nephew to a 9:30 show at the Annoyance and it turns out there are not a ton of things to do in this neighborhood between 7PM and 9:30PM if you aren’t 21 and/or don’t drink alcohol on a Monday night. I remembered a friend told me about Bonus Round and it was the perfect spot to spend 90 minutes playing a game between dinner and the show. We already ate so we didn’t get a chance to sample the hot foods, but were thrilled to enjoy the N/A selections (some lovely mocktails that could be plussed with booze if you want) and some candy while we played. Great selection of games to choose from. We didn’t need help but it was nice to hear a staff member explain a new game to the table next to us and I will absolutely be back for another game night. Great for a group that drinks or doesn’t."

"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"First time visiting and everything was excellent. Got a platter with brisket and sausage. Both meats were very good and the different sauces were good. The platter comes with two sides and I got a smoked sweet potato which was so delicious. I also got coleslaw. Generous portion of slaw which was very tasty. They offer different items than just a normal bbq place and look forward to trying the ribs and other items. The owner was there and was very friendly and helpful. If you are in the area please try and of you are not in the area you should be."

"Cafe Touche never disappoints. This is a neighborhood favorite that we have for amazing French bistro food. Steak frites, quiche, pork kalvados and bread pudding belong to some of the things we really enjoy, but honestly never ordered what we do not enjoy. It gets quite loud when you sit in the center of the restaurant, so we always ask for a table through the windows. The staff is professional and goes beyond to ensure that your needs are met. Not cheap, but worth it!"

"I'll never go back. it was so disappointing. the service was bad. the waiter was uninterested. the wrong food came out. the second time was a steak cold and one was raw. the sides must be rushed because of the original compounding. they were not cooked. never ate, had to go and go to another place to dinner."

"We had a fabulous waiter who helped up move to a banquet where we could at least talk. Super loud, unbearably so. Food was of good quality, but lacked punch. Especially for the price. I don't need to go back, but others must have loved it. It was super crowded."

"We made reservations for an anniversary dinner. Ruth's Chris doesn't disappoint. Food was great, service was awesome and the ambiance was nice. This was a first visit to this location on LaCantera Parkway. Downside was my vehicle being broke into and ruining the rest of our evening plans. Signs said surveyed by camera - no necessarily true. The buildings are surveyed. Of course, not really the fault of Ruth's Chris but waiting an hour to report it since we live just outside SA was definitely a downer. Next time - UBER for sure."

"We were there celebrating a very special birthday and RPM Italian is the guest of honor's favorite restaurant and he goes here all the time. The girl that seated us had an attitude and had a look on her face that she would literally rather be anywhere else in the world to the point where one of my guests had to ask her if she was ok, I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but it was very visible on her face and she acted annoyed when we asked if we could have another table but there was a woman that I wish i got her name because she was amazing and she found out that maybe we wanted a round table and she moved us to the round table. She also brought us a variety of readers when our waitress only brought one pair that were too strong for someone that needed it so I appreciated her so much because I would not have been happy with our experience at all if it wasn't for her. You could tell she cared about our experience which I really appreciated. Also there was a misunderstanding with our waitress on the salads and who was splitting what so we had to order another salad because the way it was split up (which I appreciated that they split them for us), there was a person that was left out and was not brought out a salad. Other than that, the food was outstanding but maybe it was just a bad night but I think service needs to be taken up a notch because that is also a very important part of the dining experience."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate on his own initiative. We will come back in any case."

"Out of towners who made this our super swanky meal of our trip. We came in with high expectations because of ratings and awards. My wife got the sea bass and me the filet mignon medium rare. I cook alot my own steak so I am a really tough judge. Anything above a 9 is great score from me. The filet got a 9.4. Cooked just right and not stringy/chewy. A 9.4 mostly because it was $70. I am not use to those prices back home! They surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake for me even though I didn't want anything showy. Waiter was really good adjusting to our needs and answering questions. I told him I drink alcohol fast and to bring drinks out quicker then most ppl allow. Particularly, it was a holiday weekend and I wanted to feel good. He did not disappoint. I had 3 beers and a double of whiskey with the steak. We spent $300 for two ppl includes tip."

"Solid service and good food. Everything was prepared to the requested temperature. The Wagyu steak was excellent and the Tuna was delicious. The pies were good, however the coconut pie had a lot of whipped cream and not enough coconut. The chocolate pie was good but probably won't order it again. The cocktails were very good, they adjusted their recipe according to the season which was nice."

"This should be on the list of Chicago?s must try/eat/do. Such traditional feels and food is really good! The manager is so knowledgeable about the oysters and the food. The waiter was so warm and friendly. It checks every box for a perfect diningexperience! I had the lobster roll and it was delish. I like that they used toast and not a bun. The oysters! Oh my?. So sogood. I think I can just have the oysters for a meal? the key lime pie was nice, too. It didn?t have that over the top sour zingwhich I think makes it more enjoyable. "The Valentine’s Day menu exceeded our expectations! The oyster was refreshing with a creative touch, and the lobster bisque featured true French style taste (definitely a strained broth of crustaceans vs cheap tomato soup) with perfectly poached pieces of lobster. The fish course and wagyu were also perfect. We had a tailored wine tasting from the French sommelier who was so personable and knew his pairings. The nicoise tuna salad needed work to pull the deconstruction together. We will come back. A great chef!!!"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to get bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"Cannot come here without ordering the escargot--it's amazing with the made-in-house bread! The duck leg confit is also so delicious, as is their steak frites. Slowly becoming a regular here thanks to my partner and the quality of food, alongside the service, has always been consistently great in all my times coming here.
