"Some of our favorite menu items include the walnut sauce, black pepper fillet with mushrooms, and shrimp with lobster sauce. When my friends and I want to indulge, we often order a bit too much and add Chow Fun as an extra dish! For appetizers, I typically go for the hot and sour soup, while my friends enjoy the egg drop soup. We also love the house shumai, spare ribs, and chicken salad rolls, not to mention the Lychee Martinis! The truffle fillet is another excellent dinner choice we've tried. We always say we’ll branch out and try new dishes, but we love our go-to favorites so much that we seldom do! I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a fantastic Chinese dining experience with delicious food! You won’t be disappointed!"

"Delicious and authentic food! Nice selection of tropical drinks. The staff is a bit aloof, but helpful. The atmosphere is a bit sterile, with the background sounds being dominated by the staff chattering to each other. I recommend they play some Dua Lipa dance music and such to impress! The soft shell crab is my new favorite! The scallops, oysters and other fresh seafood dishes were awesome! The BBQ Pork tenderloin was very good. We need to come back when the sushi chef is on duty!"

"BEST Chinese restaurant in Chicago. Love love this place. Absolutely loved the food, decor, and family friendly vibe of this place. The service was fast and the servers were extremely helpful in explaining the items on the menu.Great place for large groups, loved the circular tables with lazy Susan tops for easy access to food. Their menu is enormous with dim sum, noodles, rice, and many types of meat and vegetable dishes. There is something in there for everyone.Don’t wait and go check out Minghin restaurants now, they have multiple locations in Chicago."

"I came here for dinner one night while in Chicago. I was with a party of four and we decided to walk here from our hotel and enjoy the evening air. After quite a few twists and turns, staircases and a few elevators we arrived at the restaurant which is tucked away in a small alcove between buildings. I'm an explorer, so the roundabout way of getting there was right up my alley. Looking at the restaurant from the entrance it almost looked like it was closed at first. Upon walking in, there was a bar and some seating available in a small dining area. It seemed so empty and I wondered if it was closing soon, as it looked so neat and quiet with no staff to be seen other than one person behind the bar. I was in for another twist and turn as the person behind the bar greeted us and took us around a corner into a dining area that was packed with people and very vibrant. I caught a glimpse of the skyline through some windows across the dining room. Unfortunately, we were seated on the opposite end of the restaurant. We were brought complimentary tea, which was really good. Instead of a hard copy menu, we were brought a tablet to order off of a digital menu. It's an interesting concept but between multiple people trying to order off of one tablet, it felt a bit cumbersome. Unfortunately, the party I was with, was not in the mood for dim sum or a family style dinner, so we ordered separate plates. We did order some egg rolls for the table which came out quickly and tasted freshly made. I opted for the Beef Brisket with Eggplant and an Avocado Smoothie. The Avocado Smoothie had a good flavor and was not too thick or too runny. It wasn't overly sweet either. The Beef Brisket with Eggplant was also good. The brisket was tender and the eggplant was juicy. The sauce was thick and had a strong but good flavor. It was a large portion, so it was a challenge to finish by myself. After the main meal, we ordered some Baked Creamy Egg Yolk Buns, which were delicious. The service is very minimalist which is not an issue. The waitstaff did not come to the table very often unless called over. The food was good, service quick and the ambiance was vibrant and family friendly. When I'm in Chicago again I'll have to stop by again and sample their dim sum menu."

"I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience at Sushi Naper. Despite arriving with my family and friends (4 adults and an infant) at 6 P.M for an all-you-can-eat menu, it took an unreasonable amount of time to receive our food. The service was abysmal, and the waitstaff seemed indifferent to our needs.To make matters worse, it took a whole hour to receive only half of our order, leaving us starved and frustrated. We patiently waited for another 1.2 hours before the rest of our food finally arrived. The prolonged wait time and disorganized service were simply unacceptable.We were starving, but to wait another 1-1.2 h to get the food was too much, my infant was tired and cried so we decided to go somewhere else and get some takeout.When it came time to pay, I expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction, explaining that I was still hungry and unsatisfied with both the service and the quality of the food. However, instead of addressing the issue professionally, I received a disrespectful response from the staff which was "EVERYONE IS WAITING 1 HOUR AND YOU ARE NOT A SPECIAL PERSON TO BE SERVED FASTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE” and was told “ OFF”??.I care about my money and how I spend it and based on the experience of the restaurant, my friends and family decided that paying full price for such a disappointing experience is criminal and I should have at least a 30% discount. I was discussing why I shouldn’t pay full price but the waiter decided to call the cops on us and tell the police that we didn 't want to pay WITCH IS NOT TRUE, I just felt like I was being robbed. Overall it was a disappointing night.I cannot emphasize how disappointed I am with my experience at Sushi Naper. The excruciating wait, which caused my infant to cry, and also me being coupled with the disrespectful attitude displayed by the staff, left a bitter taste in my mouth. I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment if you value your time, money, and overall dining experience.Save yourself the frustration and find a different restaurant that can provide both efficient service and quality food."

"Many vegan options, our waiter was very helpful and knowledge about what to order. I asked for the yellow curry, and he immediately warned me that this cannot be made vegan as it uses fish as an aroma. So, I ordered the red curry with vegetables and tofu and my mother ordered the green curry with vegetables and tofu that are both safe vegan. The flavors were so delicious, the tofu was great, and the vegetables were great. I loved everything about the red curry. The green curry was also good, but I liked my order better. Also the ambience of the restaurant is very quiet, relaxing, and the restaurant seems clean and well maintained."

"I hadn't dined here in quite some time, and I just want to say everything was excellent tonight! We ordered two vegetarian sushi rolls, shumai, and vegetable dumplings (which were amazing), along with two dinner dishes from the Chinese menu. We also received complimentary scallion pancakes for spending over $60, and they were incredibly fresh and delicious. The kids loved everything too. Overall, it was a really tasty experience!"

"My wife and I used to frequent here extremely regularly a decade ago. Was our favorite. We moved too far to pick up so we stopped going.Getting it for the first time today, we were excited. Unfortunately, we were let down.My chicken was the driest chicken I've ever had. It's was stringy and tasted old. I cut a piece open and there wasn't any chicken to be found??? So gross. I threw it away. The General Tso sauce was actually really good so that made the dish even more disappointing since it was not edible.My wife's boneless chicken had little to no taste. Not like she remembered. Fried rice was very mediocre.Maybe I got a bad batch? I don't know but it definitely ranked very high on the worst take out food I've ever had."

"The food exceeded my expectations and was quite good. We tried a beef dish, whose name escapes me, but it was a crunchy beef that was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the crispy spicy chicken, which was one of the best versions I've ever had, even compared to similar dishes I've tried many times in China. I highly recommend this place. The service was great—less intrusive than what you typically find in US restaurants. It felt more comfortable, similar to the style in Australia. However, I can understand why some people might complain, as it is more laid-back than the usual intensity of service in most US establishments."

"I never leave reviews, but this is a health problem. this is the second time that I have ordered from this company, I have a shellfish allergy and have received food with garnel in it. the first time I ordered the pad thai only with huh. they brought it to me with garnel, I sent it back, then they brought back a plate that had a garnel tail in it. today I ordered coconut spaghetti and recommended a shell animal allergy again. I came to the house and there are garlands. I live 26 minutes away and didn't go back. the person who answered the phone shuts me off, turns me in the handle, then came back, said we will credit the card and hang on to me. I'm not sure if the refund will be posted, but not reflected right away. I will never order from here again!"

"They are going through the motions at Rice. It used to be a great little neighborhood place, but the last few times the food has been only average at best. Today we had a fish dish, but the veggies were plain, no sauce no nothin' and served at room temp as was the rice. Clearly the veggies were microwaved and never saw a wok. The rice was room temp. At an earlier visit, what appeared to be bagged frozen veg were scattered across the entree. This is NOT Asian cooking. Today, the manager tried to help, but if the kitchen doesn't know how to cook Chinese, nothing will help. We are sad that a once serviceable restaurant is taking the easy way out"
