"I should have ordered sushi instead. I got the seafood yaki soba and while I was pleased with the waitress and her attentiveness, I was not happy with my meal. The seafood included 5 shrimp, 2 scallops (cut in half), and a 3-inch piece of imitation crab (also cut in half). In my opinion, no restaurant should be rated higher than 2 if they serve imitation crab. The shrimp were overcooked and lacked flavor, the scallops were colorless and tasteless, and the imitation crab speaks for itself. The noodles were decent. On the other hand, my 11-year-old daughter enjoyed her salmon hibachi with no complaints. I would like to give this place 3 stars for the exceptional service, but the quality of the food brings the overall rating down."

"I have been in sakana several times and the foods range from good to good depends on the cooking kitchen for them. the service is definitiw rushed. the second one they sit there is someone with a notebook and pencil asking for their order. when they order their drinks and look for a few minutes after the menu. they bring the drinks two minutes later. together with the pad and pencil and ask for their order again. this happens every 2 minutes until they order. during my last visit the suppe and the salate and the chef came out at the same time. normally it is carried out separately. as soon as the chef left while we still eat. we were asked if we wanted to box and ice. when we rejected the ice, the bill remained at the table. I liked to take a box. most of my meals in it. paid the bill and went. I don't know if it was rushed because we were early. but I will not be back at least one thing."

"We have ordered from this restaurant online for pickup several times, and it's always been a great experience. The ability to place an order and pay when I arrive is fantastic. Even when I show up early, the food is always ready. The sushi is consistently fresh and incredibly flavorful, and they offer a wide variety of sushi and appetizers, some of which are unique and hard to find elsewhere. Overall, I highly recommend this place!"

"I was here on Monday with a friend and we both liked our meals (she had pork katsu and I had the chicken katsu don). The chicken katsu don was very good, although I wish it had been crunchier. Generous portions, too. We ended the meal with the red bean tempura fried ice cream (Amazing and the banana tempura. I recommend both highly. The service was underwhelming but not bad. I will definitely be returning to this place for what I'm sure will be another delicious meal."

"I had an amazing all-you-can-eat sushi experience! The appetizers were delicious, and the sushi was of exceptionally high quality. It was served in this large, flashy boot that really added to the experience. Yes, it was a bit sticky, but I like to think that just adds to its charm. The restaurant did forget my kani salad, but honestly, it was probably for the best since our table had ordered way more than we could comfortably eat."

"Was looking for a new sushi spot found it. Great location. Very spacious restaurant with a nice atmosphere. the quality of food was very good. Everything we got felt very fresh. our waitress last night seemed overwhelmed, we had to keep trying hard to get her attention. so we got the maki combo to start we chose option B with miso soup, it was very good. from the special rolls we got the the Tiffany Roll . So delicious! It’s heavy, but very good. sushi sandwich it was good, but it needed something crispy to hold feel itfelt very mushy eating itso it wasn’t a pleasant experience drank hot tea Overall definitely recommend! "Great variety of kitchen and sushi and sashimi items. I'm not going to rave and say that they had the freshest fish I've ever had or the most flavorful sushi rice, but it's AYCE so how high can your expectations be. I will say they're never super accurate with what you order in terms of the quantity they'll usually give less because people tend to waste food. From the kitchen I recommend the miso soup, rock shrimp, and the different tempura. From the sushi menu I eat just about everything, but a highlight was their yellowtail scallion roll, mackerel sushi and red clam sashimi. For dessert, I love their matcha and red bean ice cream so I suggest giving those a try.The service is super quick even when they're busy. I never have to flag someone down to get a refill on water or tea."

"Solid lunch spot VERY fast delivery within the Williamsburg area. Ordered the 15 piece sashimi and a spicy salmon hand roll for lunch. Both items had a nice portion of fish and the hand roll definitely did not skip. The 15 piece sashimi included 4 pieces of fried tofu 1star for me as a sashimi platter IMO should be all fish, not tofu . Also, the two pieces of mackerel sashimi were VERY smelly, definitely not what you want. All in all, I will order from them again and update my review accordingly."

"I ordered takeout from this restaurant last night and just realized I hadn't shared my experience until now. I was attracted to this place because of its glowing reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. I tried the crab house roll and the tango roll, and they were both absolutely delicious! The crab house roll was topped with roasted crab and came with an amazing sauce, plus it included cream cheese and white fish—it tasted incredibly fresh! The tango roll was equally impressive, featuring avocado, shrimp, real crab meat, and fresh cucumber, all deep-fried and drizzled with a rich, gooey sauce. It was truly a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend giving this place a try; it's simply outstanding!"

"I don’t usually complain! Because I’m a server and a cook so I get it… things happen… mistakes are made. But first the guy messed up on the order. Okay things happen? We ask for more noodles because of the mistake because then everybody else had literally hardly any noodles? He ignored us twice and then made our server get it which we then waited for noodles for 30 minutes. The cook walked away while the meat was on the grill. We all left extremely disappointed, sadly. We know and understand things can happen in a business but it’s the fact that we asked kindly to have the mistake fixed and got an attitude the rest of the time. We also received an attitude from our server for asking for noodles. It was an overall bad experience. Lacked entertainment, lacked good service, poor attitude… etc definitely not going back to this location. 250 dollars for poor services and attitudes when we were all super kind about everything."

"4 minute walk after our visit to Maritime Aquarium. It was spacious and not busy for a Friday afternoon. The kids bentos for the kids were awesome. 5 different varieties of foods. My son loved the chicken. It was not overly fried. For the price it wasn'tbad. The sushi was good. The rice for the sushi was not overwhelming. My husband had the shrimp lunch special which was okay,he didn't complain. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. The fried ice cream was soooo good. The fried banana that came withit.....was ???? The only downside is if you decide to bring a baby that requires diaper change.....you're not gonna find thechanging table in there. Already spoke with the staff. Hopefully they will find a solution to it. Overall I would definitely goback again. ?????????"

"THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! I went there because my six year old wanted to go for sushi and we had been before. It's always been mediocre and I gave in and went. I made the mistake of getting the all you can eat for $33.95. I ordered a roll, some sushi and a handroll. They sat us right near the sushi bar and the person helping to make the sushi would not stop glaring at me my entire meal! Always checking out what I was eating was I sharing? It was so unenjoyable. I could not just enjoy eating and being with my family for my daughter's birthday. The sushi was terrible. All rice and barely anything in the middle of the rolls or on top of the sushi. It had no flavor at all. Then to top it off, the server came over to me and warned me that I must finish all my rice on my plate or I would be charged. At that point, I let her know just how awful the food was and on top of that, I could not enjoy even sitting there with them eyeing me and surrounding me, monitoring every bite and my every move with their precious all you can eat rice. Please save your money. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants on 72nd street that are quality and great service/pleasant dining experience."

"I appreciated the concept of building my own bowl and the variety of ingredients available. However, I found the seafood components to be rather small. While the size is suitable for mixing with other ingredients, I felt the quantity was lacking, and some of the flavors were quite bland. If you have to drown your food in sauce or dressing to enjoy it, then it raises the question of why you should pay so much. You might as well just sip the flavored liquid that's masking the other flavors you want to enjoy. I'm not a big fan of overly sweet sauces and dressings, which often coat a lot of Asian cuisine. I prefer just enough sauce to enhance the flavor without overwhelming the dish. I might give this restaurant another try in the future to sample a different dish and provide a more comprehensive review. Some of the others in our group ordered various items, including appetizers. Personally, I find plain white rice, as well as the bland brown rice in my bowl, to be uninspiring. Rice should be cooked with broth and additional ingredients to make it flavorful."

"I've recently relocated to Lancaster and have tried several sushi places in the area, but I wasn't impressed. Tonight, I visited SushiOne and was immediately welcomed by the friendliest woman. I ordered four different rolls along with some edamame, and the total came to around $45, which I think is reasonable. Every roll I tried was perfectly crafted, with the Bruce's roll and Baltimore roll standing out as my favorites. My family and I had a wonderful experience, and it's safe to say we've found our go-to sushi spot! I can't wait to dine in next time!"
