"THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! I went there because my six year old wanted to go for sushi and we had been before. It's always been mediocre and I gave in and went. I made the mistake of getting the all you can eat for $33.95. I ordered a roll, some sushi and a handroll. They sat us right near the sushi bar and the person helping to make the sushi would not stop glaring at me my entire meal! Always checking out what I was eating was I sharing? It was so unenjoyable. I could not just enjoy eating and being with my family for my daughter's birthday. The sushi was terrible. All rice and barely anything in the middle of the rolls or on top of the sushi. It had no flavor at all. Then to top it off, the server came over to me and warned me that I must finish all my rice on my plate or I would be charged. At that point, I let her know just how awful the food was and on top of that, I could not enjoy even sitting there with them eyeing me and surrounding me, monitoring every bite and my every move with their precious all you can eat rice. Please save your money. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants on 72nd street that are quality and great service/pleasant dining experience."

The food looks fantastic, and we're really pleased with our takeout! We'll definitely order again.

Agedashi tofu tasted bland like literally nothing . Dumplings were watery and had no flavor . California rolls were decent but not enough to save the meal. $33 dollars ill spent. Would not return .

The sushi was fantastic and the prices were excellent! The service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I ordered a couple of rolls, while my sister had the bento box—no complaints at all! We’ll definitely be returning! Food: 5/5

I had a fantastic dining experience! The sashimi was my favorite—it was incredibly delicious. The sushi was excellent, and the tempura prawns paired perfectly with the sauce. I would definitely rate this a 10/10 and highly recommend it. Overall food rating: 5/5. View menu

Hesitated over the reviews but still decided to try it out people were right. They stuff you with rice, and it's not even good sushi rice. It's without the refined, slightly sticky texture you get from normal sushi. AYCE menu is small. Service is just ok. Will not return.Food: 1/5

The sushi was fantastic! Although I came across a few negative reviews from a few years back, the food truly surpassed my expectations. It was incredible! The service deserves a perfect 10/10. I would definitely return and highly recommend trying the dinner box—it was absolutely delicious, especially the sashimi. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.

We've had the sushi and tempura in the past and been very happy. Tonight we had the yaki soba and yaki udon. Big mistake. The vegetables seemed to have been steamed, with no sign of stir frying, the seasoning was close to undetectable, with none of the expected sweetness, and the beef in the yaki udon was tough. We'll be back, but not for those dishes. View menu

I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats and tipped via the app. However, they use their own delivery drivers, and when my food arrived, the driver was very insistent about receiving a tip. Despite my explanation that I had already tipped through the app, he continued to argue with me about it. Before leaving, he even threatened, saying, "Do not order if you don't tip." I was at work at the time, so I couldn't respond as I wanted to. Overall, this was extremely unprofessional behavior. I do not recommend ordering from this place unless you want to deal with harassment.

Beware: avoid the all-you-can-eat option at this restaurant. It's not worth it. They only provide a limited selection from the menu, and nearly every dish comes with an excessive amount of rice. Don't even think about getting sashimi or other appetizers; the AYCE only includes nigiri and a few rolls. The rolls were mostly rice—about 80% rice and only 20% filling. Although it costs $33, I felt like I only got about $20 worth of food because it was mostly just rice, which made me feel overly full. Plus, you're only allowed to leave two pieces on your plate, or they will charge you for anything leftover. The server hardly spoke to us, only managing to say a couple of words the entire time.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
