"I indulged in the Wasabi Hamachi and the Paradise roll, along with a mixed plate of sushi and sashimi that featured rich tuna nigiri on the side. I paired this feast with Nigori Cloudy Sake Strawberry, which was wonderfully sweet, creamy, and light. My favorite fish is yellowtail (also known as hamachi), but the star of the evening was undoubtedly the salmon. It was incredibly fresh, light, and buttery—it melted in my mouth. The fatty tuna came in a close second, and the white fish was also quite good.
The rolls were uniquely crafted with perfectly balanced flavors. The Wasabi Hamachi had just the right amount of spice, while the hamachi and masago provided a delightful combination. The Paradise roll was creamy, and the coconut sweetness added a refreshing twist to the sushi experience.
I appreciated their creativity in flavor combinations, and it was evident that they truly care about the quality of the fish, especially as I watched them handle the fish at the end of the night. Everything was fresh, nothing was frozen, and the fish was served at the ideal room temperature.
I will definitely return to this wonderfully authentic Japanese restaurant. Anyone who hasn't experienced the attention to detail here is truly missing out—this establishment offers the freshest and most authentic Japanese sushi in all of Washington."
