"I’m not really sure why anyone is commenting on quality of food here, because that really is not the issue. Pizza around here is pretty abysmal.. with Beau Jo’s actually being an exception. Our pizza was hot, fresh, and tasted great. The service, on the other hand, made the experience so unenjoyable. We had to wait (probably 15+ minutes) for a table despite the restaurant not being busy. They said they were understaffed, which they definitely were not judging on the amount of filled tables. It seemed that there are too many front of house people doing virtually nothing, with a select few carrying the weight of the restaurant on their shoulders. Our waitress, though, seemed to be in between. She was far from attentive, yet did do the bare minimum. She had one table besides us, though, and we got to witness her treat them far more respectfully. We probably saw her three times. Once for drinks. Once to drop off food. Once for the check. Each time she was already walking away before we could even think about whether or not we needed anything else. Her demeanor towards us was cold, and bothered. The only thing that makes sense to me is that she knew she had messed up from the beginning, and decided she might as well not try anymore. By the end, we couldn’t even get her to come back to pick up the check. We had to ask another random employee to process it, and after she had heard us ask him… we could see her protesting in the back as if we did something wrong. I didn’t want to post this, but seeing how many reviews shared similar sentiments… I feel like I should also warn potential customers."
