"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"When my wife's aunt and uncle visited, we knew exactly where to take them: The Lazy Goat. It never fails to impress, and once again, it delivered a fantastic taste of Greenville for our out-of-town guests. Starting with the Brussels sprouts and goat cheese balls is a must; missing out on them would be a big mistake. They are two of the best appetizers we've ever tried. The service was attentive and prompt, even on a busy Sunday evening. Each of our dishes was flawless in flavor, portion, and presentation. "SAO offers excellent Italian trade fair and offers a great service. We visited Monday and it was busy. The outer seat area is comfortable and well designed. Our server was professional and welcoming. I always have chicken parm in new Italian restaurants and her is a solid offer. Our Gnocchi and Meatball Appetizers also at point. All in, I was shaking over SAO to all my Bay Area friends and would return without hesitation."

"I was disappointed this year. We have come there at least 10 times for Easter, and thanksgiving. I will be looking for some place else this upcoming Easter. Moving it up stairs it took away from it. Roaming around that ballroom to find your food was not ideal at all. It made it seem like there was no food. I was kind of embarrassed because I brought my daughters new BF and he is a manager for several local restaurants. He made the comment that we would wear off the calories just getting our food. There were tons of empty tables and we were sat at the second from the end. The person seating us knew I was having a difficult time getting to the table and still she took us so far. The choice of food seemed very limited compared to previous yrs. the corn bread stuffing had a lot to be desired. The prime roast was weird mainly because the worker had a knife that was so dull. Went back to our table and I could cut it with the butter knife faster then he did with a carving knife. We all laughed at our table because of that. The shrimp was over cooked. I don’t eat turkey so can only go with my daughter who said it was so dry. She took her plate back in and put gravy on it to eat it. She doesn’t eat red meat and the salmon was over cooked as well. Only 2 types of salad dressing and neither a vinaigrette was a bad call as well. Dorothy lynch seriously. The pumpkin brûlée top was not crunchy. You could sink your spoon in, no crunch. The other desserts we had were good. We had lots being we didn’t eat much of the savory side of your buffet. Having breakfast food was disappointing as well. A $30 Thanksgiving dinner with bacon and eggs is weird. So between moving it upstairs and the difficulty in getting up there and the food we will not be back. We all said that we could have been as happier if we went to Golden Corral, not impressed this yr. I am giving this review only to tell you If your count is down next yr."

"We had an excellent waitperson, very attentive and helpful with our selections for our first time at this restarurant. The house wine was very nice and priced well. We had mushroom pasta and NY steak. The steak was very well cooked and completely underseasoned, not salt or pepper at all on the steak or the puree. Once I asked for a salt shaker the meal was very good. We asked the waitperson to give the feedback to the kitchen, because we thought it was probably a result of a busy kitchen not the usual fair. We do plan to return with friends to try some of the other dishes that looked very good. Everything was well priced."

"It was my husband’s birthday and we had a brunch reservation. We had never been to the Greenbriar. When checking in, the hostess took us to a table for that was inches from another table of with a couple already seated. I asked the hostess it we could sit at a table by ourselves and she said no they are booked completely. There were empty tables that would see from our table. All of these tables, including several in other rooms, remained empty while we were there Our server was good, although our food was lukewarm, on hot plates. As we left the manager asked my husband if it was his birthday. He must have seen the note on the reservation. This was the only acknowledgment. We are undecided if we will return to the Greenbriar as it was a disappointing brunch. We are hoping this experience at the Greenbriar was unusual."

"Although this restaurant is on the pricier side, the food quality is lacking. The jumbo shrimp scamp appetizer was cooked well, but overly garlic-heavy, overpowering the shrimp flavor. The Margherita pizza lacked mozzarella and had a strong cheese instead. The linguine with meatball and tomato sauce had undercooked tomato sauce. The porterhouse steak was not worth the price, but the NY steak was cooked perfectly. The service was good and the staff was friendly, which is why I am giving two stars instead of one."

"We’d been visiting from out of state, over the holidays and it proved to be the perfect choice, rounding out our visit. Exactly what we wanted. "We spent the day at Goose Rocks Beach and didn't have the opportunity to bring a picnic for the beach. As an option The Tides is right across the street from the beach and we had a great lunch there. It's casual enough that we could go in our shorts and t shirt; and the sea air flows through the restaurant. The staff was really kind and it was a great place to catch a delicious lunch. I think some of the reviews are unfair; I'm sure the staff would have happily corrected replaced a dish that wasn't to ones liking if given the chance our experience suggested they were very guest friendly. "My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"I had my daughter with me in the wine room, and I must say, the place is wonderful! The atmosphere is great, it's clean, and the staff is fabulous, alongside a fantastic chef. The food was perfect; everyone praised how delicious and perfectly cooked it was. My favorite dish was the scrambled eggs; I’ve never tasted anything quite like them. Chef Greg Monette mentioned that his secret recipe is what makes them so special, and I can’t wait to see if my tastes align with that deliciousness! "Went out for a quick inexpensive dinner. Well that's not what we got. YES, it was Saturday at 6 but this isn't a big place and tables were open. The staff was very friendly. We ordered the Mozz stick, Reuben, a cheese steak, soup, and Ceasar salad (no meat on it.)The food was ok but the Reuben was a tiny piece of rye w maybe three pieces of thin meat on it for $15.00. The cheesesteak was $18.00 but they don't tell you there is a $3.00 charge for peppers onions and mushrooms which makes the Sandwich $21.00. The ceasar salad for $9.00 was the size of a side salad if not smaller. Price wise they are trying to compete with the Buck Hill but they need to understand they are not the Buck Hill and can't charge their prices and expect to have happy guests with mediocre food and a hometown bar atmosphere. We went out to support a local business for a hometown meal and paid for the Black Forest. We unfortunately will not be returning."

"I have lived in the area for some time and had every biggest pizza in the city, but Luigi 's is really where it is, I've been through this statement for years and I keep doing this. There is a fairly new bartender on the staff, Jeff, who has also suggested some of the pasta dishes and various pizza selections for me and his recommendations are always phenomenal. But more important than his food knowledge, he's an incredibly talented bartender. Between his extensive knowledge of wines, beers and spirits and the ability to create every cocktail from your very traditional timeless cocktails to unique specialties of his own accordion that you 't see anywhere else. Jeff is also very welcoming and has by far one of the most spiritual personalities I have "overcrowded", it is a pleasure to sit at the bar with him, I go there every time I come in. If you really want the best pizza or pasta and now cocktails in Fort Lauderdale, you would be wrong to go somewhere else. 5/5 I recommend seeing Jeff at the bar and asking him to create one of his own special cocktails, he will make you addicted!"
