"We ordered one dish and some egg rolls, but after two hours of waiting without any food, we called them—only to be left on hold for 30 minutes at 6:30 on a Saturday night. Frustrated, we decided to order from another restaurant, which turned out to be a wise choice given their better reviews; we received our food in just 30 minutes. Eventually, I managed to get through to them at 9:00 PM to request a refund. After a 5-minute hold while they concocted an excuse, the representative told me that our order had been delivered. According to her, the delivery person went to the correct address and handed the food to a man who recognized my wife's name. This was clearly a fabrication, but they still refused to issue a refund. I asked to speak with the owner, but I was told she wouldn't be available until the next evening. The following day, I went to the restaurant and requested to see the receipt. To my surprise, they had even signed the credit card receipt themselves instead of admitting they hadn’t delivered our food. Once again, the owner, Maria, was absent. I reiterated my request for a refund, but they insisted they couldn't process it and that I had to go through my bank instead. I inquired about Maria's schedule and was told she would be in at 8:30, so I left. When I returned at 8:30, the restaurant was closed—half an hour earlier than expected. However, Maria did eventually come to the door and spoke with me. The story had evolved further; now, they claimed the delivery driver had seen someone enter my house. It appeared they were not only dishonest but also running a restaurant poorly. Maria told me they could issue a refund, but only one specific person knew how to do it, and she wouldn’t be available until the next day—making it sound like both were required to process a refund. At that point, I gave up and decided to dispute the charges with my credit card company, especially given the clearly forged signature on the receipt. In my experience, these people are fraudulent, dishonest, and untrustworthy. If you choose to visit, I recommend paying with cash and opting for pickup. But honestly, do yourself a favor and go to another restaurant."

"Not going back to this location. When I ordered I have dietary restrictions, I am not allowed broccoli or rice. I ordered the Shrimp w/mixed vegetables asked for no broccoli and rice on the side. Now i can only eat around 5 to 6 ounces each meal due to recent surgery. So I ordered the small portion. Once I was done ordering I got a call back and they lady stated that her manager said their will be a $1.00 charge to put the rice separate. Now not only am I not going to eat the entire meal, and they dont put extra of any other vegetable to take place of the broccoli, but now i have to pay more just to put rice separated. Common sense question is if they offer the selection with rice separated for the large portion, why would they not do it for smaller portions especially if it is due to dietary restrictions? This place already charges way more for the same portions i get in other restaurants, and it just doesn't make sense. Its not like they cook the product with the rice, and I am not going to even eat the rice, i was gonna give it to family to have. Its the dumbest, most ridiculous thing I ever heard. Just because its a small it has to be served w rice. Really??? I guess if you come here you better hope that you dont have special dietary guidelines as they wont honor it and they will charge you more for something so ridiculous. Never again. And that was the first time I ordered from them. So they didnt gain a customer. Last time ever."

"What a disappointment at what had been one of our favorite restaurants in Indy. We used to eat there regularly before moving about an hour away. We were in town on 11/29/23 and decided to stop for supper about 6:30 pm. Our server took our order and repeated everything back to us gyosa and sushi pizza appetizers, general tso bento box and a crunchy bomb roll for entrees. There was a fair number of table customers, plus a constant flow of carry out pickups, with only one server working the tables. We had to wait an unusually long time for drinks and to have our order taken, because the single server was also constantly shuttling carry out food to the front desk. The server brought our gyosa, then a few minutes later brought crab Rangoon, which we said was not ours, and she took to another table. The soup and salad with the bento box was brought, which was fine. Then the bento box came, but no crunch bomb for my husband. Meanwhile, the carry out flow was constant. We waited another 20 minutes, with the server running constantly between tables and carry out and two people making sushi like crazy. Finally, my husband said let’s just go, who knows how many more carry out orders there are before we get our crunch bomb. Before we could ask for our check, the server brought it and moved on. The crunch bomb was not even on our tab, although the server had repeated it back to us when we ordered. While the food that we did get was excellent, we were very disappointed with the service. It was obvious that the carry out sushi was their main commitment, with little attention to table customers. We’ll miss our now occasional visits to Hana when we visit Indy, but excellent food is not worth being treated as second class customers."
