"It started off a rock-bottom and went down from there. The decor was laughable; the old Bear and Grill Alaskan Hunting Lodge motif remains, but now interspersed with Italian pictures... Sad. The hostess was frazzled and clueless. I had to give her my name three times. She had to deal with our party and two others, each time before seating she had to enter the dining room to find a table before returning to seat the party. Server, John, was trying, but overwhelmed. Took a long time to greet us, and then proceeded to tell us that he had too many tables to deal with. Good solid Italian menu, but the food didn 't live up to it. Appetizers were okay, took forever, but okay. John tried to make up for things by delivering 2 bowls of soup for us to share... strange. Entrees, were another story: flavorless and poorly executed. My entrée was the short rib over risotto. The short rib appeared to be braised slices of steak, not a discernible piece of short rib. The risotto was like soup; watery and insipid; really an insult to the country, culture and people of Italy. I would have suggested that the chef apologize, but don 't believe there was a chef working at this poor excuse for a restaurant. While we were lamenting the experience, the table next to us walked out. One of my party witnessed an exchange between a gentlemen from the party and the waitress, and overheard the word unacceptable prior to there departure. They left two untouched entrees on the table. No management or owner presence throughout the night... a Saturday night. In reading their facebook reviews, one can only assume that whomever owns the place had a lot of loyal friends.... friends who will lie for them. The only positive note is that this place is doomed. Hopefully soon before their sorry attempts at being restaurateurs can ruin and steal 2 1/2 hours of more peoples lives."
