"I just had an incredibly disappointing experience with Top Spice, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with their abysmal customer service. From the dry, flavorless pork to the complete lack of effort in rectifying their mistake, it was an evening of frustration and disappointment.Firstly, the pork dish I ordered was beyond disappointing. It was so dry and tasteless that I could hardly distinguish it from chicken. The lack of flavor was truly disheartening, leaving me questioning the quality of their ingredients and the competence of their kitchen staff.Hoping to find a solution and some form of compensation for the unpleasant food take-out experience, I decided to reach out to Top Spice via phone. Unfortunately, my interaction with their representative only added to my frustration. The person on the phone displayed zero willingness to go out of their way to make up for the error. Their dismissive attitude and lack of empathy were deeply off-putting.What bothered me even more was the fact that there was not even an attempt made to help fix the issue this very night. I understand that mistakes happen, but a reputable establishment should be proactive in finding a resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. It was disheartening to encounter such indifference and a complete lack of effort on their part.As a customer, I believe that it is not only fair but essential for businesses to take responsibility for their mistakes and make sincere efforts to rectify them. Sadly, Top Spice failed miserably in this regard. Their customer service left a sour taste in my mouth, overshadowing any redeeming qualities they may have had.I highly discourage anyone from dining at Top Spice, especially if you value good customer service and quality food. The dry and tasteless pork coupled with the lack of effort to address the issue has left me deeply disappointed. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that offer better food and genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction. In conclusion, Top Spice's poor customer service and the lack of effort to rectify their mistakes make it a place I cannot recommend. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by choosing an alternative dining option that values its customers' experiences and strives for excellence."

"What a fun! Find here below. Chinatown.Looking for a late night bite, but wanted to get something more unique, we found this place after a search in a long walk. I've had Malaysian food many times and love it. But you never know what you're going to get out of your place.I walked in to its simple decor and surroundings. Nothing especially concerning, but yet nothing especially alluring. There was a cute little light on the sidewalk outside that showed the restaurant name.Ordering is at the counter instead of at the table. That was unexpected. But that's typically a sign of just a simple place. And the New York City I can do with some simple places.Haven't eaten Malaysian food before even in Malaysia on several occasions, I didn't recognize a single item on the menu. I was a little surprised and concerned but read descriptions carefully and picked a few dishes. It's open seating, so I picked a seat at the end of a large table with a number and waited for my food. They quickly prepared it and brought it out. We had some stir fry beans, we had a soup dish with noodles and anchovies and some other wonderful vegetables, I may have a rice dish also with some stir fried anchovies and some wonderful seasonings I forget.First bite of the beans, incredible. I soon begin gorging on these wonderful beans sauteed in a fish sauce/ anchovy sauce/ some of the yumminess. It was divine.I moved to the rice and cucumber stir fry dish. The cucumbers were chilled, the stir fry was in the middle, with a couple sliced eggs and a coconut flavored rice. Mix it up and just again excellent. Then I moved to my suit that had noodles, spinach, some stir-fried anchovies I believe in some other deliciousness. How can a simple looking food be so amazing. In the end, I left wanting more. I was actually completely stuffed but almost ordered a second bowl of a three bean stir fry. That was how good this obscure dish was for me.In the end, I always ask myself one question. Would I go back again? The answer is absolutely. I would love to go back again and again and again. Unfortunately this is far from my place, but Malaysian food once again absolutely is divine.PSUnfortunately I forgot to grab pictures before we ate because I was so hungry. But you can see we thoroughly enjoyed it. I do have a picture of the dessert which was different and fun. The main dish was better than the dessert by the way."

"Our reservation was after the lunch rush (1:30 were quickly and cheerfully shown to a table. The first impression was a bit unsavory: One side of our seating, was a long banquette, and our part and the next table had a pretty good dusting of greasy crumbs, which I quickly brushed off before my guest sat on them. As they had only around 3 occupied tables at the time, there is really no excuse for such a slovenly state of affairs. Whomever bussed that table should have seen to those crumbs. Our waitress (also serving as bartender hostess was very friendly and informative regarding the menu. We ordered several plates and shared them, which works well here. Everything we tried was tasty well-seasoned (satay skewers, bbq ribs with a bit of potato salad, buttery chicken tikka masala, and origami cod , cleverly steamed in an origami parchment box. We also enjoyed among us, a glass of wine, and lychee martinis. The wine (and a bottle of ice water, a nice touch , came right away, but the martinis seemed to take an inordinate amount of time, though when they finally arrived, were delicious and refreshing. All in all, I would go back. Seems like a great place for some Happy Hour tapas cocktails, or a dinner or lunch of a variety of nibbly bites. Next time, I would hope for a more fastidiously looked after room, and a beverage service that is a bit quicker in the delivery."
