"Malay was a great experience. The restaurant is clean and the service is exceptional. One of the things that I will always be a stickler about is water at the table. Not only was water quickly presented, but they also placed a caraf at our table, which was constantly replenished. I'm so glad that I ordered their lychee drink. It was sweet, refreshing, and had four large lychees within the glass. So good. Our streamed dumpling appetizer was so good. They were filled with chicken, pork, and shrimp. The dipping sauce made it so flavorful and they were gone in seconds. Every entree was the perfect portion, cooked to perfection, full of delightful spiciness, and well presented. The entire meal was such an enjoyable experience and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend Malay. You will definitely be treated very well and enjoy a memorable meal."

We had both Malay and Thai dishes, and a really good stuffed tofu appetizer.

So nice to have more options than just summer rolls and steamed tofu! There are rice, noodle, and stir-fry dishes that can be made vegan. Appetizers, too.

We ordered a salted fish chicken fried rice , chicken satay and a Malay fried rice to go. In the spot we had Thai iced tea and char Kuey teow and chicken wet Hor Fun. Everything is the best, better than the ones in Flushing.

Dined in for an early dinner and I was the only person sitting down. Lots of individuals came in to pick up to go orders. Service was very friendly. I had the pepper chicken that was pretty flavorful. Low on the spice end which is good for me.

I got the sesame tofu and thai spring rolls, and they were great! I did not eat in, so I cannot say about the service, but my mom eats in there a lot and keeps going back, so that says something. My food was great, and there are a lot of tofu and vegetable dishes on the menu that are vegan or can be easily veganized.

The food at this restaurant was delicious! I ordered mango sticky rice, fried banana, wonton soup, and papaya salad. Unfortunately, the papaya salad was too spicy for me, even at the lowest spice level. The wonton soup was amazing. The fried banana was unique, as it was fried in a spring roll wrap and topped with chocolate syrup. View menu

I had lunch with friends at this cozy and small restaurant today. We were seated right away and the staff was very attentive. They gave us time to relax and recommended the daily specials. We ordered lobster bisque soup, steamed dumplings, Thai basil noodles, pad thai, and wonton noodle soup. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Thai, Malaysian, or Asian cuisine.

We've dined here almost everytime I've been in town to see my sis. That's because there is undoubtedly, always something interesting to taste. The nice thing too, is the food is made to order, fresh and hot. You can expect friendly service; always part of Malay culture. The interior has a warm atmosphere with traditional decorations. This restaurant is in a shared plaza with available parking. It's never too busy, so parking shouldn't be an issue. The price point of their food is average, and what you'd expect for NJ or the east coast.
