"I visited Koumi tonight and asked for help ordering as vegan options were not marked on the extensive menu. The first staff member said no meat . I explained to two staff members that vegan meant no meat but also no eggs, dairy or animal products, so no butter. Several minutes after I placed the order, a staff member asked how they could cook my order without butter. I asked if they had oil. The staff member said yes, was I okay with oil? I ordered the Thai pineapple fried rice as recommended by the previous reviewer. It was very bland and tasteless compared to a similar dish at a Thai restaurant. If I were to ever dine here again, I would order Japanese or Vietnamese food. However, I am not in a hurry to return."

"Great food and fast service. You uahe to get upnand get yourbown garnishings, so its cool because you get as much or as little as you need. The only downside is that the sitting area gement is REALLY tight. The non-adjoining chairs and tables are so close to each other. I almost asked the next table over for a napkin jk, but the seating arrangement really is tight."

"My favorite restaurant in the area. Both the dining room and Hibachi experiences are great. I tend to go for lunch, but eat on the dining side. This is significantly cheaper than going to the Hibachi side, although I prefer the Hibachi food, even if it 'sthe same meal. There 's nothing quite like getting your food straight off the 'grill '. There are only two drawbacks to thisrestaurant for me, first is the cost. It is very expensive for a family of 5, but it is worth it once in a while. The second isthe wait. If you go in the evenings, you are almost guaranteed to wait, especially for Hibachi. This is a testament to how goodthe food is though."
