"We love El Molcajete! Found this gem in Duncan and we've been multiple times since. I usually get a large margarita at Mexican restaurants because there's not much alcohol in the drink, but every time I've been here my drink is tasty and the alcohol is not watered down and the flavor of the margarita is perfect! Took my Dad out to eat today and as usual the food is bangin! The waitstaff greeted us as soon as we walked in, and I love the friendly atmosphere. Dad has to eat gluten free now thanks to an allergy and our waitress was top notch. She made sure his tacos were corn only. My burrito was delicious and the queso dip is amazing! Never have to ask for refills or napkins. This place is small but cozy inside and very clean. Our waitress was super kind when we placed an order to go to take a plate home for my Dad's girlfriend. She even recommended different quesadillas they could make to help us choose, and when they bagged up the to go order the added chips and dip again too! If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and a chill atmosphere, a full bar with great margaritas and friendly wait staff, this is the place! 100% recommend. Dietary restrictions: Wonderful options for gluten free guests. Parking: Small location but plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spaces up front with plenty of space to navigate a cane or wheelchair."

"I tried this restaurant for the first time and the food was amazing. I ordered the lechon (porkloin) and congri (rice with black beans) with tostones (fried plantains). The portions were generous and delicious. I also ordered churros for dessert. My husband had the steak sandwich, which came with thin-cut fries inside - it was a tasty combination. "This is my absolute favorite restaurant! The grilled chicken salad is not only delicious but also comes in generous portions that make it worth every bite! The new buffet is fantastic and has a homemade taste! My boyfriend can't get enough of the pernil; it’s absolutely magnificent! "We have ordered from here many times and never had a problem however today that was not the case. A chicken quesadilla was ordered ONLY chicken and cheese and was made incorrectly. no big deal, we drive back to the restaurant and ask for it to be remade and the man up front was very rude but went to tell the kitchen to remake it. long story short, it was made wrong again. when brought to their attention they were very rude once again. will not be going back. how do you mess up a chicken quesadilla amd then attack the customer when its brought to your attention ?????"

"We went there for our hour lunch from work. We noticed they had several customers waiting for their food so we asked the waitress how long would be the wait and she said about 15-20 minutes. It took them about 45 minutes to give us the food and it was really gross. The meat from the tacos looked like it wasn’t even cleaned properly with a lot of cebo in it. This place it’s expensive, slow service and really bad food."

"On May 5th, 2022 at 10 o'clock, I informed the girl at the counter that I did not want any garnish or sour cream on my enchiladas. She assured me that they do not put sour cream on their enchiladas, which was my only request. I tried to keep my order as simple as possible. I noticed that she didn't write anything down, but I assumed there was no way she could mess it up, especially since they don't put sour cream on their enchiladas. Unfortunately, when my enchiladas arrived, they had sour cream on them."

I occasionally come here for takeout and sometimes dine in, primarily because there aren't many better Chinese restaurant options in Rancho Cucamonga. I've heard about new regulations regarding the credit card processing system at the restaurant, where customers who swipe their cards will face an automatic 3.5% processing fee. This is supposedly due to operational difficulties. In my opinion, this practice seems unfair to customers and possibly illegal. It feels like the restaurant is simply passing the credit card fees onto guests. I don’t mind tipping the waitstaff more, as I recognize that their work is demanding. I would advise fellow customers to be vigilant when making purchases and to be clear about what they are being charged."

"The service at this restaurant was terrible. Each of the three entrees we ordered came out separately and there was a long wait in between each one. Despite the restaurant not being very crowded, no explanation was given for the staggered food delivery. The appetizer we ordered to be served with the meal came out way before the entrees. When we asked to have our leftovers boxed up, the server put the rice in the same box as the entrees, causing the rice to soak up all the sauce. This lack of attention to detail and poor meal organization was unacceptable. Overall, the bad service and disorganized meal distribution would make me hesitant to return to this restaurant."
