"The service at this restaurant is outstanding, and the food is both expertly prepared and beautifully presented. I initially wanted to order the grilled pork chop, but the special of the day was the smoked pork shank. After the waitress spoke so highly of it, I couldn't resist trying it, and it certainly lived up to its praise; the flavor was rich right down to the bone. The French onion soup, which is a personal favorite, was incredibly indulgent. For dessert, I opted for a snickerdoodle cookie, which was slightly undercooked and had the delightful consistency of warm cookie dough, perfectly complemented by vanilla ice cream. Walla Walla has many dining options, but this restaurant truly stands out as one of the best fine dining experiences around."

"My husband and I pass this diner several times a week and keep saying we should check it out; so this past Thursday evening we decided we had a craving for the diner experience and pulled into the parking lot at City Diner. We were greeted and shown a table promptly. I know this diner is known more for its breakfast, but the menu is quite diverse and we were there for dinner, we decided we had a hankering for Greek cuisine. We ordered the stuffed grape leaves and hummus appetizers. I really like stuffed grape leaves, and though the best stuffed grape leaves I've had in the DC area are at Taverna Cretekou, City Diner's version hit the spot as well. The hummus and pita bread are both delicious as well. For our main course we ordered the athenian combo, which we realized after, was enough food to feed two people....the portions are definitely filling at City Diner. The platter has tasty gyro meat on a pita, spanakopita, salad, and french fries. You also get another side of salad or soup! Did I mention you will not leave hungry?! : This a definitely a place local diner fans enjoy and I can see why...from the decor to the super friendly staff, we felt at home the whole time. We plan to comeback to try breakfast or shakes and pie sometime soon. Thanks for a great traditional diner experience."

"Arrived a little late to our 12:30pm reservation to outside. We sat down outside around 12:40pm, and got waters but a server never approached us or welcomed us in. We sat for 40mins and received nothing but water while new tables came and were being served. Needless to say, we left. My friend and I were very disappointed because our last time was very good with excellent service."

"My wife and I were very disappointed with the room and service. The room was NOOOOO where close to the price we were charged for one night. It was easily 50 to 70 dollar a night room, not 300+. Was never told about the gimp basement in the room, it was quite the surprise and there were dirty towels down there so even more sketchy. And the hallway with the light sensor really gave it a Shining atmosphere. Was super sad, I was hoping it was going to be perfect last night on our vacation. I wrote a review on Trip Advisor that was super doctored up, and the owner says that room is worth what we paid. They need to stay in 300 dollar a night rooms somewhere else and see what they look like. As for the Gimp Room in the basement of the room, there is no way that is in demand. The railing was coming off the wall, and it was so musty down there we had to have the fan running to cut the smell down. Besides we were not IN SEASON and it was a FRIDAY night not a Saturday or Sunday. If the other rooms upstairs are better than ok, but room 105 was of flop house quality at best. "This place was fantastic! I wanted to sample everything that came out of the kitchen. There's a clear reason why this family-run restaurant is so beloved by diners. The owners take evident pride in their work. I ordered the gyro platter, which was reasonably priced and came with a wonderful salad and generous portions of meat. I stopped by because my phone had died, and I needed to charge it at CVS, plus I was almost out of gas in an area I wasn’t familiar with. The staff here truly made me feel welcome. I would gladly drive an hour to return and enjoy a meal here with my daughters. I can't wait!"

"I 'll start by saying I went here a lot growing up and every few years as an adult. The food was always stellar. Went out for a date night with my husband last week and we had high expectations. We both ordered pasta dishes. My husband 's came without the chicken he requested. It took about 10 minutes to get the waiter to stop and talk to us. When told the pasta was missing the chicken, the waiter had a blank stare and simply said, well what do you want me to do about it? in an apathetic/bored tone. My pasta was flavorless and utterly devoid of any taste except cream. The service was mediocre, and none of the food/service was worth what we paid. Pretty disappointed in our meal and not sure we 'd go back. Sad to see a staple establishment of Butte disappoint us."

"Based on the happy hour bar menu alone, I'd only go back to try the cocktails. We had the burger and the crab and artichoke beignets. The burger was ordered medium rare and had zero pink. In addition to being overcooked, the burger is served on ciabatta which just felt weird given the ingredients. The beignets didn't have much flavor, the fries that came with the burger were good and were sadly the only part of the meal we were totally happy with. The service and atmosphere were great and it is a wonderful location. I really wish I could rate it higher. I think we will stick with Prhyme's happy hour."

"we went to the brunch last week and it was so wonderful that I decided to reserve for my wife and I again for this weekend. we started with cocktails. my wife had a wonderful pfirsich concoction and I had the Italian stallion **** mary. I didn't try my wife's drink, but mine was excellent. they have a lot of subtitled **** mary’s with a lot of accented, but the drink itself was delicious. my wife had been benedikt last week and tried the French toast with banana and meer salt caramel. both were beautifully presented and delicious. I had the organic eggs and speck with roasted kartoffels and one side of the sausage both different with the only difference that I ordered the chicken sausage left last week and the hand made this time. both were delicious, but I prefer the patties. we have often discussed lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed. I recommend the market tavern in stockton!"

"We have been to webers countless times and although the food is always delicious this time the service was very poor. It took 25 min once seated to take our order then we were never checked on once we received our dinners. We were celebrating our sons birthday and the service really ruined the night. The manager did apologize as did the server but it was a disappointing dinner because of the lack of service. We will dine here again and hope for better service next time. Things happen and we understand that but we wish the manager would have stepped in sooner to help her if she was so busy."

"Stopped in for lunch on a Monday, arriving towards the end of the lunch rush… they were still busy, but we were seated quickly. Our server (who was also the bartender) was great and very helpful. He also was very talented making the Spanish coffee drink they’re noted for, which is definitely a show!! Having never been here before, we didn’t know what they were known for, but came in due to all the very positive reviews. Turns out this is the oldest restaurant and bar in Portland and they’re known for turkey! They do turkey in many different ways and they do an excellent job with it! I tried their turkey enchilada soup and it was very tasty, with a little spicy kick to it. My entrée was their open-face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and their sage stuffing. The stuffing was perfectly moist and flavorful! The turkey was all excellent, moist (not dry at all) and very flavorful!!! The gravy on top was also great… In all, this was an excellent turkey meal… it’s like experiencing a tasty Thanksgiving for lunch in May! Even their cranberry sauce (which I normally don’t like) was great, as it had orange in it to help with the normal bitterness of the cranberries. Highly recommend stopping in here for a historic visit to a great joint for lunch or dinner!"

"Pasta Vita has become a staple for us during Covid the portions are very generous, tasty, and easy to heat up. We keep a few meals from Pasta Vita on hand each week in the fridge to make our lives easier and we always look forward to them. We are big fans of the eggplant and chicken parms, the garlic bread, the fresh pasta and even have enjoyed several of their fish and curry options. Could not recommend more!"

"Really wanted to like this place. The ambiance was great, and the service was incredible, but 3 out of 4 of us got sick. I was the only one who didn't eat the scallops and had a good steak. Hubby's rib eye was tough, the lasagna was bland and tasted funny, the chicken marsala had a sweet sauce instead of savory and my baked potato wasn't cooked all the way. The highlight was the bruschetta. but after all that and paying $300, it wasn't enough to garner a good review. Peppercorn mgmt needs to get rid of those scallops!"

"What a fun, rustic chic mix! Not overly refined, but still has a higher end vibe, somehow. The decor and space is casual enough for kids to feel comfortable, but server was excellent well spoken, attentive but not over bearing (my husband said his formal Russian was flawless). Food was flavorful and portions were appropriately sized filling. The highlight was a birthday song, with the server playing accordion!"

"We had dinner on New Year’s day. The food was very bland. Had fondue for appetizer. Apple slices were very finely sliced. Equal to 2 normal slices of apple. Not sure why they would cut corners on an apple. Walleye special had zero flavor. It was too bad because it was a nice size portion. Pork special was soggy balls of meat. Very disappointed with quality of food vs the price. Not what I was expecting for a Kohler establishment. The only positive is we had a very good server in Kim. She was attentive and pleasant."
