"I had a great experience at the restaurant, and the food was delicious. Tonight, I ordered shrimp tempura, which was advertised as eight pieces for $8.95. However, when my order arrived, there were only five pieces. I mentioned this to the server, and she told me it was a "mistake in pressure" and that the dish actually only comes with five pieces. She didn’t offer to correct the mistake or make it right but instead told me that at other restaurants, they often serve even fewer—pointing out that I was lucky to get five. I felt that this was a poor excuse, especially given that I spent $70 on three regular rolls and a bowl of udon. Where has customer service gone these days?"

"I've eaten here three times, 2 times delivery and 1 time dine in. All three times were exceptional. My last experience, dine-in, was the icing the cake! The food was a great temperature, service was fast and attentive, and restaurant was very clean. I ordered the baby doll sushi roll, since I absolutely loved the golden California from one of my deliveries, and of course that tasted very yummy too. My partner always gets the chicken fried rice and puts spicy mayo on top, of all the the (three) times he has ordered it, they all come out tasting amazing (consistency is important). This is definitely a place that feels very relaxed and laid back. I'm a Waraii Sushi customer for life!"

"“Treated” me for a day-long meal – one of the highest price menu elements......surf and turf hibatchi. I actually think this is the most expensive thing, but not sure. the lobster and the meat were small cut portions of overcooked, dry meat (lobster also). they would think this was prepared for a small child or an older person who cannot chew. actually – chewy is really the best word to describe this eating. like kaugrill. I have read reviews and it is always the fault of the buyer or the debt of the frontend girl – anything but maybe they have to rethink the quality and preparation of their food. When I wanted to complain, I spoke to the owner who told me that I was wrong, that you were “worn by all” and tried to “make an unhappy”. the only effort I had paid $50 for an indefinite meal. since in the non-fit to contradict the own directive: I have already said in my original contribution that it is clear that it is responsible for the negative assessments. I live in clinton, so yes, I ordered in the restaurant in clinton. I spoke to you directly. you were very rude to me. Stop playing stupid."

"I was so disappointed with my visit today. This is about the service and not the food. We come here allll the time. I 've probably been here 20 times because we love the food. I took my friend, who I haven 't seen in months, here for the first time. We were seated at 4:55pm. The server seemed annoyed and she was rushing us from the start even though it was early and they weren 't crowded whatsoever, but that wasn 't a big deal. We ended up figuring out our order somewhat quickly. Fast forward we finish eating and are just visiting and talking and finishing our drinks. Another girl brings the check and is like take your time. About 10 minutes goes by and we hadn 't paid yet because, again, we were catching up and told to take our time. So another guy comes up to us and picks up our check and hands it to us saying can you pay? We have a line of people waiting! I was honestly so caught off guard. Mind you it was 5:50pm at this point so we hadn 't even been there an hour!! I could totally understand if we were taking our sweet time, but that was not the case. None the less we pay and decide to leave since we were basically being kicked out. As we were waking out I looked and NOT A SINGLE PERSON was waiting to be seated. My friend was like oh ya I saw a couple groups waiting but they got sat. Anyway, it just rubbed us completely the wrong way and put a really sour taste in my mouth. Which is unfortunate because I love this restaurant but that was so incredibly rude. Not to mention I was excited to introduce my friend to this place and it was not a good first impression for her. Total bummer and just wanted to share my experience in the event management/the owner saw this and could coach the staff to not rush people out when they haven 't even been there an hour and no wait.."

"Just moved to the area and was looking for a Sushi place for my weekly Friday sushi treat. Ordered from here based on reviews and I couldn't possibly be angrier at everyone who gave this place anything higher than 1 star. First off we ordered fordelivery. Half my order was ignored, no message, no communication, just ignored. The rolls were loaded with filler that notonly covered up what little flavor the small amounts of fish were in each roll, but left everyone feeling bloated and sick. The1 piece of Salmon Sashimi that they did give us smelled fishy and had a slimy texture. I am not a food critic but I do considermyself a sushi expert and eat it atleast once a week. I have had it across the country and around the world and I can saywithout a doubt this is the worst sushi resturaunt that is out there that doesn't also sell gasoline. Stay away from here!!!!"

"I don’t typically write unless it’s really bad or really good. 4.5 star rating is laughable. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we got there. The service was slow. We were going to eat in but it took so long we ended up needing to eat at home. The rolls seemed small and it didn’t seem all that fresh. My wife and daughter each found a bone in their food. One was in a sushi roll and the other was in the teriyaki chicken that came as a bento box. When you spend over $100, you expect better. Do yourselves a favor and get better for less."

"I ordered doordash from here and the hibachi filet mignon and shrimp and was very tasty and cooked very well. However the sushi was nearly flavorless and spongey.. i ordered the pick 3 sushi special of spicy tuna, salmon, and yellowtail rolls. These rolls were FULL of cruchies and also even mixed into the fish!! Crunchies are a garnish and i didnt order a crunchy roll for any of them. I ate 4 pieces before i realized what they did to save up on product and didnt eat another bite and these photos got me a refund on doordash. Id come for the hibachi only if i were any of you but definitely not the sushi!!! Even wegmans sushi is better! Possibly even gas station sushi might make you sick but would have more flavor than this!"

"Despite the appearance from the outside, I was surprised by the food I received. My girlfriend frequents this place for miso soup and I tried some tonkatsu she brought home one day and I was pretty impressed. I ordered my own tonkatsu yesterday. I wanted the chicken but they were out so I settled with pork. Very crispy, a little dry but the bbq sauce they provide with is very tasty and compensates any dryness. I would not get the lemon sauce, it is not very good in my opinion. Other than that, the service is great, they are very nice and accept takeout orders over the phone. Food is good despite appearance and they have a variety to choose from."

"I recently had lunch at this restaurant and overall it was a pleasant experience. My favorite part of the meal was definitely the kani salad. The spicy tuna sushi stood out among the others (spicy salmon and spicy yellowtail). The only improvement I would suggest is for the rice in the sushi to be more compact. Despite this, I would definitely consider ordering from here again in the future."

"I was impressed with their score but not impressed with the food! I have enjoyed the same type but better tasting food elsewhere for less cost! I don't know if it was that I caught them just before they closed, but the taste and quality of my food did not match the pricing. I made two simple orders from their over head board that listed the dish and price. I was charged more than what was on the board and after adding vegetables to Scallop Fried Rice and paying extra, there was not an extra amount of vegetables. The dish itself was 3/4 bland rice that I could have cooked myself! Not even the traditional taste of fried rice! It tasted very lazy and thrown together. The only thing Fancy about the Salmon Roll was the price! I didn't know that it should cost so much more to deep fry sushi. Maybe I'm just used to Atlanta prices and this is considered gourmet or exotic Asian food in Alpharetta. I hope that they do better when they're not rushing to close/go home. (They're hours must be to 10pm bcuz they all were out of there by 10:10)."
