"My friends, family, and I visit Stout often and are always left satisfied. The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, with a great energy that made us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food — the burgers are simply incredible. They are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We have tried a few different varieties, and have never been disappointed. The sweet potato fries were also a standout crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The side portions are large enough that you could get one of each and everyone at the table can share them. The beer selection is also impressive, with a variety of local and regional craft brews on tap. We appreciate the knowledgeable staff who were happy to provide recommendations and talk about the different options available. But what really stood out to us was the exceptional service. The staff that take care of us are friendly, attentive, and always make sure we had a great experience. The combination of delicious food, great beer, and outstanding service make this spot a must visit for anyone in the area. Update 10/8/23: really sad to hear this place has permanently closed. This place was such a gem and the staff were always so nice to us. We attempted to visit here multiple times this week but each time it was closed. We called another located to ask about it and they told us the news that it was permanently closed."

"We made a reservation for a party of six. Upon arrival we were dearly promptly. Things were going well until there was clearly some sort of mix up with a planned birthday party. They moved the party from upstairs and seated them all around our table in a section in the back. It immediately felt awkward, like we were crashing someone’s party. They kept adding chairs to the space and we were all crammed in. No fault of the party goers, but they were bumping into us. We were fine, just wanted to get our food, eat, and go so that the party could have our table as well. Our server was sweet and delightful but it was clear the restaurant wasn’t getting food out timely. Everyone rushed around panicked. We got a couple appetizers which were just ok. After an hour of waiting for our entrees, we started to inquire as to when our food would be out. Our server was hustling and trying her best. A manager stopped by and we explained that we felt crammed and it was odd to seat a party all around us, to which the manager offered to sit us outside on the patio. (It’s winter, it’s not heated and clearly a snarky comment). Telling a party who has nothing but patient to suck it up or sit outside is pretty disgusting. After an hour and fifteen minutes, 5/6 had their meals. It took an hour and a half for a salad. To their credit, they did take that off our bill, but to have someone wait the whole time and watch everyone else eat is poor service. I would have given zero stars but our waitress was really kind and attentive."

"Beer 4 Service 5 Food 3 We stopped here to have a beer and grab some takeaway for a concert at Red Rocks. We ended up both ordering the Citrum IPA spruce and lemon zest!!! Excellent. We placed an order for two fried chicken entrees. According to the menu, it came with a biscuit and slaw, which we thought would travel well. We also ordered the popcorn as a quick snack or beer sponge . It was very flavorful, and quickly gone. Not a very large serving. The service was super nice. Laid back attitude, but understood we needed our food fairly quickly for our concert. Great balance. I was a little disappointed in the entree. First, it came with some sort of collard ? greens with a really heavy cream sauce, which had congealed into a pudding by the time we got to our parking area 30 min . It was still warm so I tried it, fishing a piece of collard green out of the goo with an extra crunchy piece of chicken skin no utensils or napkins were provided, which I thought odd . The collard pudding tasted pretty good, and was probably better hot, but there was still an untenable ratio of goo to greens. I would have much rather had the slaw that was described in the menu. The Biscuit was huge, but over done. The bottom was actually black. Thankfully, it was thick enough that splitting it in half and slathering with a bit of the honey that was provided was a nice sweet treat, just not as good as I was expecting. Now to the chicken. I like nice crispy skin on my fried chicken, but what should have been golden brown was blackish brown. It was also a bit greasiest than I was expecting, but I let that slide a bit since it sat for a bit before we ate it. The actual chicken meat, however, was very tasty. We each got 3 pieces, and it was PLENTY of food! I would give this place another try if in Boulder again, but would probably not try the takeaway again."
