"What a truly nice old school place. I had the corned beef hash breakfast. I ordered it without mushrooms and the waitress brought it out with mushrooms, immediately noticed and made a new one for me. Such wonderful service. The apple pancakes were delicious, not too sweet and perfect with the cinnamon sugar on top. My friend had the linguica sausage and it was soooo good. Not too spicy, full of flavor and nicely crisped. The hash browns could have been a little crunchier, but I would give them another try. It looks like they usually are perfectly cooked based on other reviews. Topped it off with some ice cream. Nothing special, just old school chocolate and strawberry. Really delicious. Highly recommend if diner food is your thing"

eating was fantastic, but the waitress didn't do a good job. worth a visit for a good breakfast. Maybe it was just a hard day this day!

it's perfect, but not good. the ordered French toast, which was prepared on unusual wise, it was as if parts of the fried egg hang from the toast. the staff was really friendly and it was hard to find a parking lot.

This is the most wonderful place in the world. Places like this just don’t exist any more around here, so it’s even more special. Fabulous fresh food, lively and courteous service the perfect place to linger and sip coffee. Reminds me of being a kid and going to a diner. View menu

we had a late breakfast here on Friday before the lunch. there were several tables outside and several inside that had diners. we chose two of their cunning, one with beef and spinach and the other with steak and pfeffer. both came with hate brown and our choice of toast. the ulcers themselves had that “cooked to order” taste – the corked bark really tasted like cured bark meat and not from the dose. my steak had tasteful discs of steak and well cooked paprika and swirling. hash browns were a bit limp and mushy. the pace was slow and relaxed. parking spaces behind the square were present, but divided by a series of shops, so it was crowded. more beautiful place if they are not in a hurry.

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"
