"Always enjoy Cobalt , especially to celebrate a friends birthday. Our outdoor table was great, as was service , but the food was not what We have come to expect . It was a cool day and Tomato soup with mini grill cheese sounded perfect . Grilled cheese was the size of a crouton and the taste of soup was poor . Drinks are always good . Sandwich was ok but everything was cold . Including truffle fries which are our favorite) not on this visit . Hope it improves"

"This was our third visit, the last one having been so amazing that we were eager to return. The service on Feb 15 was outstanding (thanks go to Steven). The table was on the ground floor near the front of the building, so an occasional cold blast made its way to the table as the front door opened, but was not too bad. The soups we ordered for our first course (one french onion, one mushroom) were delicious. The entree my partner selected turned out to be unavailable, so he had to choose something else; he chose seafood risotto, which he said was disappointing. I chose the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly; sauce selection had changed since the previous November, so I opted for a truffle sauce, which was nice. I'm certain we will return, but this time with different expectations perhaps."

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to get bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"I visited here yesterday for the first time with my wife and a friend. We got seated right away and the interior appeared clean and well kept. Service was very good and we ordered soon after checking the menu which was quite extensive having options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food arrived in a timely fashion and was well prepared. My wife had the Pastrami Sandwich which she said was excellent. I had the Beef Dip which was good but had some fat with the meat that I had to pick out. It was fairly noisy inside but not terrible. The Steak fries were prepared nicely and were tasty. Our friend had a Turkey Melt and he said that it was very good. We will definitely come back another time to try some of the other menu options. Parking is free with plenty of spaces to choose from. Highly recommended."

"After a day of shopping, we were in search of a dinner spot and decided to check out this restaurant. Unfortunately, the main dining area was not open when we asked at the hotel front desk (the restaurant is located within the hotel), but we were able to order from the bar section. We opted for the salmon with mashed sweet potatoes and black lentils, as well as the turkey burger melt. The food was decent and the service was satisfactory. My favorite part of the meal was definitely the cold Brooklyn lager."

"What a great evening at BPH! We were in Boston at Equinox on Franklin, near Faneuil Market, and afterwards were looking for a terrific post workout meal. Boy did we find it! Bostonia Public House was a perfect choice. We were seated at a booth in the bar area, and I ordered a Monkey 47 martini, which was fantastic. We had delicious Korean pork ribs, fantastic clam chowder and a chicken sandwich. The atmosphere is great lively but not too loud. And our server Karen was perfection the right mix of friendliness and professionalism. All in all a great meal, and next time we're in Boston, we'll return there for sure!"

"The overall experience was diminished by the hostess. She initially seated us at a both with a broken seat. We moved ourselves to one of the other empty booths. Throughout the evening we watched her try to seat other couples at a table for in the back corner when better seats were requested and denied. Both couples left."

"order a delivery. a sandwich came with a baguette..it looked like they just rip it off from the piece of the leaves with their hands and put it in the pocket. it wasn't even wrapped. how lazy can you be? another sandwich was hardly warm. I had no more panra, but I will not return or order again. it seems as if the workers do the mere minimum."

"They sell gourmet popcorn here. yeah, that 's on the menu. It was burnt, and so were the cookies. the salad was an abomination of ingredients that did not gel. the service was quite bad we were ignored most of the time. Except for the horrible food that was served to us after we got our seats, the movie experience was not bad. the service in theatre was good, but the service at the bar/restaurant was terrible. Overall, this place is a bit overpriced because you don 't get what you pay for. They are trying to be fancy and charge for it but they don 't take the time to dust. My wife and I saw many cobwebs amongst the glassware at bar just over our heads."

"Really cozy diner vibe but with a fresh twist. The space feels nostalgic, kind of like the place where people used to just to hang out, but modern. It has a full bar, solid cocktail selection, and even DJs apparently. There are TVs and nice outdoor areas. We sat inside but still had a nice chill time for a Tuesday night. We tried the chimichurri steak and chicken and also ordered the chicken gyro (both pretty good). The drink was delicious, and the service was top notch. Our server, Mo, was super friendly and attentive the whole time. Plenty of free parking. Definitely planning to come back. "This restaurant is a real treasure in the Islands region. Located in an historic stone mansion that once was run as a nunnery, it offers commanding views of the St Lawrence River and a lovely terrace for dining as well when weather permits. "Food :phenomenal Service:phenomenal Prices:phenomenal I love going to Uncle Joe's, great atmosphere very clean and very nostalgic , some beehive hairdo's and some cars with tail fins and you'd be back in the 50's . Thursday night they do cruise nights and some Saturdays there are swap meets . The food is delicious everytime , joe has The Super Chef there who not only cooks amazing food but is also known to hop over the counter to perform the heimlich on a choking customer or two...The bus staff and waiting staff are sociable, polite, hardworking people that have always we t above and beyond...Great job to Uncle Joe and his awesome family..."

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."
