"I am not the biggest fan of cupcakes in general, but after several people have heard that this place is better than Georgetown cupcakes, I had to put this claim on the test. Note that I only tried the Boston position of Georgetown Cupcakes before (and enjoyed it), and I wasn't waiting for two cupcake spots in Georgetown the same day, so take this as a disclaimer. I have two cupcakes, red velvet and strawberry. The red velvet was nowhere near the best red velvet cupcake I've ever had. Although I wasn't too sweet, I wasn't the fan of the cake to the frost ratio (was too much cake in my opinion). I liked the strawberry a little better because the proportion of cake actually had strawberries in it for text and taste contrast. Overall, if you do not like your cupcakes too sweet and with a heavy concrete on the cake, you might like this place - I would say it is a decent take on this style if you can call it that. But it's not my cup of tea, or I guess... cake. And I won't wait 20 minutes."

"I finally tried HUSH other night. Was such a pleasant surprise. The food is delicious and really unique flavors in each dish. I love food that bursts with flavor...........like their hummus dish........(wasn 't your norm hummus) and the kale salad was out of this world. The Impossible burger, which was vegan, looked and tasted like a beef burger, but 10x better.................. I am personally not a fan of the average dinner , steaks, pork chops, chicken, etc. and love creative dishes , like Hush has. I would not only recommend this place, but i think its up there, with my new favorite places to eat...."

"We came in on a slower night (probably the coldest night of the fall/winter season so far, so I can understand why no one wanted to be out and about! We were seated right away, and our server was great about answering all the questions we had on the menu. The beer selection was good and there were a ton of cocktails to choose from to get started! As a vegetarian, my struggle with eating out is finding places that have more than a side salad as the veg option on their menu, and Hush did not disappoint. Great little place for a date or family outing!"

"Hush was great! The atmosphere was rustic and the food was fantastic. I read reviews on this crispy chicken so that is what I had to have. It was yummy, but it was chicken. The waiter gave me the exact rundown of how each item was cooked so I could get a better idea of what the meal would be, that was awesome! The star of the meal by far were the brussel sprouts. Get them!! The bill was a bit high for two people, we had two appetizers and two rounds of drinks so that is be expected, but it was definitely a great place for a date! Make a reservation, there are only a few tables!"

"The Blackforest cake is perfect. I’ve never had a better one and I’ve had a lot in my life (I’m German) BUT: they always put a sticker on the box saying you should put it into the fridge right until you eat it (probably to avoid lawsuits): DON‘T! It’s a thousand times better at room temperature and that’s how we eat it in Germany."

"The interior of the restaurant is quite small, but it opens at 9 o'clock, which is great for those starting their day early. They offer coffee, ice cream, and freshly baked goods such as scones, making it a worthwhile stop. I particularly enjoyed the fudge during the rest of my vacation."
