"Everything was just 'OK ' but when you factor in the price, it was a slightly displeasing service. We got two bottles of wine (pinot noir malbec) both were about $35/bottle. Unfortunately, the wine was clearly stored at room temperature...and in a room that was likely 75 80 degrees. A wine cooler would have been nice to get it to a more drinkable temperature. C for the wine experience. The appetizers were great (calamari and pimento cheese). No complaints here. Entrees were pretty bad. Everything clearly sat under a heat lamp for a while....even though we waited quite a while between appetizers and entrees so there was no apparent reason to hold them. Every dish had some type of sauce which the top was getting crusty from sitting for a while. 1. Ribeye Mashed potatoes were good, steak was a bit undercooked (very rare/arguably raw in some places). Broccolini very bland. 2. Salmon Extremely salty, bland, and overcooked. Was way overcooked and over salted to the point that the two who got it found it hard to finish. Broccolini was bland. Advertised potatoes coming with it as well...but these were mostly a garnish as it was literally 4 sauteed potato chips served underneath everything. 3. Specialty Taco Entree I tried three different ones (Fried Shrimp, Buffalo Shrimp, and Seared Tuna). Seared Tuna was probably the best, but still not great. Fried Shrimp and Buffalo shrimp were edible but not enjoyable. The Fried Shrimp variety included a soy and ginger but it was really pretty overpowering. The tacos were also very small. 2 3 SMALL shrimp per taco, 1 thin slice of tuna, and very little topping on either of them clocking in at $18...kind of a rip off IMO. We got desserts but I didn 't really try any. The rest of the table found them enjoyable, though. Service was quite good. All in all, I really wanted to love the place. I did absolutely the interior and would love to come back for a couple COLD drinks and appetizers (the only great part, IMO)."

"We were back in the area for the long 4th of July weekend and wanted to try someplace new, so we picked Ard 's Farm. We were not disappointed. The menu was full of interesting choices. We ordered the fish and chips, steak and sausage jambalaya, chicken caprese, salmon stir fry and the lamb meatballs. Dinner came with their soup and salad bar, which, while not huge, was fresh and of good quality. The shrimp curry soup was very good. It 's aroma was enticing and the taste was light for a curry but also just hot enough. To paraphrase my daughter, They 're not afraid of flavor, and that 's promising for the rest of dinner. The presentation of all the main dishes was excellent. The salmon stir fry and chicken caprese were beautiful and the jambalaya and lamb meatballs were fun to look at. Each meal was well prepared and tasty. The chicken was well seasoned and still juicy. The jambalaya was full of spicy flavor. The fish and chips were done just right. The salmon had a gently sweet teriyaki glaze on top of moist flesh. But the lamb meatballs were superb. It is difficult to overstate how enjoyable the lamb meatballs were. The flavor in the meatballs was unquestionably lamb, strong and savory. The plum sauce was lightly sweet garnished with fresh mint leaves. The dish was completed with creamy mashed potatoes and a sprinkling of salty, tangy feta cheese. Every bite of meat, potatoes and sauce was perfectly balanced in flavor. (My daughter agreed the salmon was very good, but the lamb was excellent. For dessert, the table shared a slice of raspberry cake and a slice of chocolate turtle cake. The raspberry cake was a bit of a let down; although the raspberry flavor was good, the cake was much too dry. But the chocolate turtle cake was delicious."

"The menu offered a choice of sausages or avocado, with an option to add an extra item for an additional cost, which I did by selecting steak. Despite this, the server insisted that adding the steak meant my choice of avocado was no longer valid. I tried to clarify the menu to her, and she seemed to understand, but then returned about ten minutes later—after everyone else had placed their orders—to announce that I was mistaken and that the steak incurred an extra charge. I explained that wasn’t the issue; my concern was her insistence that avocado was off the table because of my steak add-on. She appeared confused again but then went back to the kitchen. To make matters worse, the other dishes came out before mine, and when we asked for cutlery, the server let out an annoyed sigh as if it were an inconvenience. Did she expect us to eat steak and eggs with our hands? When she finally returned, she dropped a handful of forks and knives in the middle of our table, creating a loud noise that left us all in shock. At that point, half of our group wanted to get up and leave. After some discussion, we decided to quietly finish our meals and never return. To top it off, my dish arrived after most of the table had finished eating, and—surprise, surprise—there was no avocado! All this for a meal that left us frustrated. We paid the bill and left a standard tip, which seemed to surprise the server, perhaps because she was used to 99% of patrons not tipping at all."
